Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa Review

Nice hotel! Great location! Room was spacious and comfortable. Was upgraded to an oceanfront room which had amazing sunset views. Pool area is nice although pool is a little dated. My only complaints would be there were some technical issues with cable a couple of nights and hotel restaurant and bar close very early. I think this is due to the pandemic etc. They are not fully operational yet. Overall a very good experience and would definitely stay here again.

Nice rooms, friendly staff, and amazing location! Definitely recommend getting breakfast from Shor. Note that the ocean view room is not full ocean view, but still very nice! I would for sure come back.

No private beach. Everything in the hotel is closed. No hotel bar. Loud and crowded area. View from room however was spectacular. This hotel had no restaurants except for Shor which was just "ok". Hotel was also a tad outdated... Will not return to Waikiki. We like Maui much better. Waikiki has great shopping but hopefully you made all your dinner reservations months in advance!

I enjoyed my time at the hotel. The rooms were nice and clean and big. Pretty old but their toilet was the best! They have the Japanese Toto toilet with a bidet. They only had one tower opened. We got an ocean view room which was a little disappointing because it was 1/4 ocean view... so probably not worth it. But it was centrally located and right across from the beach. The pool was small, and the hot tub they only allow 4 people at a time due to Covid, which was the stupidest thing ever because you can fit 6-8 easily and still social distance and yes they were strict on that.

Wow! I had the best time ever here! Got this resort for a fantastic rate at . I enjoyed this hotel and I'm so happy I stayed at my favorite place cheaper than what I typically pay.

I had a lovely stay at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki. I felt very safe during Covid times. The workers were always wearing a mask and there were definitely very limited people staying here. Although they don't have daily room cleaning service, they are super attentive with bringing new towels/etc whenever you need.
The hotel is in such a prime location. Directly across from Waikiki beach. You can rent surfboards, paddle boards or simply just relax on the beach and swim in the crystal clear water. The hotel provides beach chairs and towels at the pool that you can take with you to the beach. The jacuzzi is closed during these times, but the pool is available with limited capacity. There is an ABC store on the ground floor that has anything and everything you may need during your stay.
The hotel is a super easy walking distance to endless shopping, food, and beautiful sites. I cannot wait to be back :)

Amazing! So excited to come back! Booked this place for a terrific rate at . I enjoyed this resort and I'm so happy I stayed at my favorite hotel for much less than what I normally pay.

Perfect location, rooms were fantastic (comfy bed and a Toto bidet seat), and so much to do on site (retail stores, ABC store, and coffee shops. I would definitely stay here again.
The view outside of our room was phenomenal.

Perfect honeymoon. Loot at the view. This hotel has some nice ocean view rooms.
