I haven t had the chance to stay at the resort, however last night I attended the IC for a Fever Candlelight Concert of Chopin s greatest works.

A stunning candle lit footpath to The Grange set the scene for a magical evening and was so lovely to walk through the resort to the location of the concert.

The pianist performed beautifully and the evenings storm created a mood suited to an evening of classical music.

Definitely would love to stay at the resort and see it in all its glory during the daytime.

Reception staff were friendly when calling for parking information and upon arrival for directions on where to go.

Fabulous evening.

Loved our holiday here. Beautiful resort to take the family. Felt the stress just disappear after a few days here. Great rooms. Great staff. Beautiful lagoon. Beautiful trees and paths. Kangaroos. Excellent food for the room service menu. Netflix in the rooms. Only thing we weren t happy with is the lagoon bar not being open during peak times. I get it being closed during off peak but when the lagoon is full of guests and not to have the bar open for drinks is both a missed opportunity for hotel revenue and spoilt the customer experience. Still highly recommend.

Great place to relax and stay away from the busy Surfers Paradise. I booked this place for my babymoon and I advised the property that I was pregnant. However they gave me a room really far away from the reception, I had to walk down the stairs with bags and it wasn t ideal. Every time I wanted to go to the Village or to the restaurants in the main building I ended up being really tired. I ended up ordering food in the room (just be aware they charge $7,50 fee for room service). Besides that, the place was lovely. Staff was nice. Love the swimming pool.

This is by far a 3 star hotel at best. Garden view rooms stink of mould and actually had mould all over the ceilings. Cockroaches were one of the first things greeted us in our room. Upon opening of the curtains we were greeted to a view of scrub. No garden, just dirty sand and a man hole to go with it.
Breakfast was lovely but not worth the 40 minute wait. The onsite steak restaurant was a real let down. Tough and dry is the only way to describe the short rib and the two mains, pork and steak, tasted like they had been left in a drum of salt to cure for the ride across the Pacific ocean. To top it off there is nothing like pouring your own drinks for the evening.
The pool area is lovely and the staff are friendly, however, as stated not 5 star and not worth $396 for a Saturday night.
Upon leaving today we were served burnt coffee and due to the phone not working in the room we had to lug our luggage from one side of the property to the other.

Reception staff were friendly. However much to say...

Reception staff were friendly. However much to say about concierge and their food for a five star hotel. Nothing great about their food. Breakfast was a mandatory booking for in-house guests. Pizza took long and was bland. Conceirge weren t helpful. Although one guy who brought our stuff on check in was the only nice one. we got charge more than $100 deposit because we ordered room service and still got charge for the room service. Basically double charged us more than our actual bill. Really weird system. I was surprise to see charges in our card without being told first. Lovely resort. Just needs so much improvement on service

We stayed last weekend on a locals special with 2 other couples and rate the facilities, staff and hotel five stars. We had the best time and nothing was lacking. We had early check in, late check out, full breakfast and a bottle of red wine in the package. We thought being on a special that we would only get a basic breakfast but there was about 12 different choices from the menu plus juice, fruit, Danishes, tea and coffee in a beautiful restaurant with top notch staff. The room was spotless and we had a wonderful sleep on the king bed with marina views from the bedroom window. The pool was warm and being tidal with a sand beach different from your average resort pool. We highly recommend this resort and hope to take advantage of the special if it comes up next year. Well done Intercontinental.
