Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach Review

Nice place to stay with family. Very close to the Waikiki beach and the breakfast is pretty decent.

Great hotel - only 2 blocks off the beach and within walking distance to all Waikiki offers.

Had a very nice stay there for 1 week in Waikiki! The hotel is clean, quiet and has free breakfast with a good and healthy variety of foods. Clean, close to the beach, helpful staff, beach towels, but slow elevators...which they do warn you about! It wasn't so bad, tho, just factor in a few extra minutes for the elevator trip.

Nice, affordable hotel close to the beach that appears to have been recently renovated and offers free breakfast and wifi. Check in was easy and an affordable upgrade was offered. The room is clean and spacious. The pool could stand to be updated, but when your slow close to Waikiki Beach, who needs a pool?

Overall this place is just like any other Hyatt Place property. The self parking fills up FAST early in the morning or afternoon. $30.00/day for valet parking. Staff is friendly and willing to help whenever asked and the rooms are quite nice. I'd stay here again!

Nice hotel just above Waikiki Beach. It is only a few meters to the beach and the popular shopping street. Parking is also possible in a nearby car park. All in all, we were happy there.

Pretty good happy about it. No need to upgrade to ocean view though, can only see a small part of ocean. Other than that, it is super nice.

I do want to mention that there is no details on the 25.00$ per day for valet parking on the website. So when booking and getting a rental car, plan for that additional charge.

Good walking distance to some good restaurants, beaches, and shops.

The pool is clean but small.

The wind was strong during our stay in June..you could hear it through the walls on the 11th floor.

The breakfast bar was good but the wind is unavoidable in the outdoor seating.

Offers nice ocean views between the first tier resorts. Decent breakfast each day. Little crowded. Small pool, better to just walk 2 minutes to beach. Slow elevators. Friendly staff. Balconies come with locks high up to prevent kids from going there unattended.

Loved the free breakfast, different every morning, also the cleanliness of our room was wonderful.

ABC store right down the street. (Small stores that are everywhere in hawaii) this place is where you want to book.

Loved our stay here. Admiteddly it's not as big or fancy as some of these resorts, but we knew that checking in. With that said, the service was awesome (including getting upgraded to an ocean view room for free). Free beach chair and towel usage were a great bonus. Breakfast was good but not great, and the pool didn't seem to get too much action given it's location in the shade.

But yeah, we would definitely stay again.

Location is great close to the beach. Front desk assistance is very helpful and computers for personal use are available. Very wonderful experience.

As it is near from goal of Honolulu marathon, Kapiolani park, it may be convenient for marathon runners. Because it is just the end of Waikiki, it may be somewhat inconvenient for those who want to enjoy Waikiki. The hotel itself should be clean.
