Amazing hotel, great rooms and amenities and the staff are really friendly
Couldn't have been a better location!
Our 17th floor room was very clean and modern. I liked the spacious layout and the quietness of our floor. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is because we weren't able to control the thermostat in our room. When we wanted it cooler, we had to call the front desk and they would have someone adjust it. That was a bit annoying, but other than that one aspect, it was an excellent experience!
Nice looking and clean rooms, a lot of sirens since the hospital is across the street
Outstanding room and hotel. About a block or so away from the Magnificent Mile. The view was okay but then again I booked last minute.
Great hotel and great price. Super friendly staff and nice to have a bar downstairs as well as a Starbucks. Cheap upgrades per night and you can easily double your room size for $50.
Convenient location on the Mag Mile. Easy to access and excellent service.
Food at the restaurant is good, service is decent, bathroom at the lobby is clean and modern.
Great hotel. Comfortable, clean, and classy rooms. Staff is very helpful (even at night). Close to anything you would want to do on the Magnificent Mile. Will be coming back real soon!
Excellent location with spacious rooms and impeccable bathroom. It is located in the same building that hosts the American College of Surgeons. It is located a couple of blocks from the "Magnificent Mille".
Later check-in than promised. AC did not work well. Long waits for elevators.
The hotel was amazing! It was very clean very comfortable the staff was amazing and the location was Prime for Chicago!
Great value. Decent pool. Great gym since no body was using it. Chic decor. That said, one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept on.
Everything was amazing. No issues at all. Great hosts and the room was the largest I have ever been in. 10/10
Quite the stunning hotel. Right in the heart of downtown Chicago, within walking distance to all of the major attractions; the bean, navy pier and of course tons of great shopping! Spent two days here for a business trip and a conference that was in the hotel. The service was impeccably friendly, check in and out an absolute breeze. Of note, the catering for meetings is okay at best and the meeting rooms are so chilly! However, would gladly stay here again whether it s for a business trip or vacation.
This hotel is cool, but with there being so many in the area, I probably wouldn't come again unless nothing else was available. I was given a room, and as soon as I walk through the door, I look to my right and I notice that there was a towel thrown on the vanity in the bathroom area. I'm like ok, this is odd, but I look at the other towels around and they were folded as they should have been, so I'm thinking if this is the only problem I'll keep the room. Then my eyes go to the toilet where there is a big ole wad of tissue. Mind you all of this occurs with me standing in the door way. After I see the tissue, I didn't bother to go any further into the room. I lug my HUGE suitcase back down to the front desk and tell the receptionist, my room is not clean. They show great customer service and give me a free drink and a new room. HOWEVER, when the front desk called to see how the new room was, I was told that the housekeeping manger flat out lied and said she checked my previous room and it was clean. I didn't fully inspect the first room, but a big ass was of tissue in the toilet and a towel on the vanity after sometime washed there hands from using the bathroom is not a fully cleaned hotel room! Down at the restaurant and bar, the service is also spotty. Some of the staff are top notch, others not so good. One young guy virtually ignored everyone while he did inventory.
Worst experience ever!!! I stayed from January 11th-13th. I was decriminated against and harassed my entire stay, the staff was very unprofessional and upper management allowed it to happen. Patrick threatened me and allowed his staff to called me the N word. They accused me of something that never happened and my attorney is handling this matter now. Avoid this place! They are racist and rude. I explain the issue to the Director and General manager and they didn t care, they basically told me that I was lying and that they stand up for their staff.
This location was awesome! All the staff were friendly and the room was great. Went for a bachelorette party, would go again
The Hyatt is ideally located. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we checked in early and they had refreshments sent to the room.
Brunch is always delicious with great service ! A must try.
Love it! Family friendly setting. Rooms and suites are beyond comfortable, spacious and relaxing. Design of the interior was modern, sleek and admirable. Staff is more than accommodating and friendly.
My family and I stayed here over the weekend and we loved it! Staff was nice, rooms were clean and spacious! Great location. We walked everywhere. The room has a sound machine to use at night to block noise, we didn't hear a thing all night! We will be staying here next time we are in Chicago!
Great City view, good location near the magnificent Mile. Very nice rooms and good service.
Super friendly staff, great view in our corner room, nice bathroom, with a view, too! Cool nightlights come on when your feet hit the ground.
I think it is the best hotel where I have been, very good facilities, excellent location, a bit expensive but worth it.
The bar was okay. Service was very slow and prices are a bit much. However the flourless chocolate cake is delicious!
Beautiful accommodations. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable about the area, which is quite helpful in a place you don't frequent.
Beautiful room great price. And the hot tub was well worth it
This was a great stay, everything from the location of the building to the location of the HDMI port for the television was great! Staff was friendly and helpful, the building very quiet and relaxing, and the room was very spacious and had a great bed. I enjoyed my stay.c
My wife Shannon Green is here and the
Guards wont help her Seven men are
Ravishing her body naked.
Took my girl for her Birthday. Beautiful room. Look at parking applications if you can. Parking can costs $45.00 for the night. T.G.I.F. is right across the street.
I have loved my stay at the Hyatt Centric Magnificent Mile. Everyone has been so kind and wonderful and my room was PERFECT. Will definitely be back.
Great location, very nice rooms.. parking is $66.00 per day.
Bad drop off/pickup situation. Really nice staff and nice rooms.
The rooms are clean and new and modern looking. It is close to everything downtown. Fairly quiet for being downtown.
Friend's wedding. Overpriced mediocre drinks at the bar...3/5 overall
The greetings n this hotel is excellent and the rooms are to die for, if I could live here I would, and also if your from out of town or just want or need to relax, then this is the place for u the cost is not bad either for what it's worth!
We will be back..beds were comfortable..staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and updated. The pool is small but we were not here for that so that didn't bother us..we did hop in the hot tub after shopping all day and that was nice. The hotel is walking distance to shopping and attractions. Overall we loved it and would stay here again. We also were happy that we could leave our bags while we shopped since our train didnt leave till that night.
Not as flashy as Hyatt Regency Chicago, but just as great, they are going through renovations, which only looks to affecting to exterior of the building, this is affecting valet as they don't have a phone to call ahead to have your car pulled.
Great hotel in a great location. Excellent service staff too.
The Hyatt Centric Chicago is in the heart of Magnificent Mile. Wonderful area for tourism and business, great food and nightlife. The rooms are well appointed with a nice bar in the lobby
I felt compelled to write this. I made a reservation here when I had an outpatient procedure close by, I did not have a ride home. On the am of surgery I was told I could get a medicab. I was not sure if it was too late to cancel room....I called this hotel. Went through a queue twice, did not get appropriate choice, hit 2...It then said I could talk to somebody, which I really wanted to do. I then was transferred to another automated system. The automated system asked if I wanted this or that...I said cancel expecting to talk to someone. The system just said "your room is cancelled' Sounded good
I was charged anyway When I called they said room was not cancelable. Surprised by this...Did not get that condition in e mail, but mostly explained if they had just told me that the room was not cancelable when I tried to talk to someone I would have kept room. Too bad. Was transferred to manager, left message, never called me back. Then was told to contact revenue manager but to e mail as he does not return calls. E mailed. Heard nothing Would never stay here Just dishonest
Everything perfect except for indoors pool and jacuzzi, they are not warm enough... and it's freezing in the city
We arrived after 9 pm, and the "obvious" entrances to the hotel lobby were all locked. It took 5 mins and circling the block to figure out how to get inside. Also the interior decor was nice but odd; like the door to the bathroom was a sliding "barn door" style that looked great but was heavy to move and had no sound blocking. These are small details, but enough that I won't return.
I came here to attend a conference and stayed two nights. The hotel staff was courteous, smiling and kind. The accommodations were comfortable. The key system that they have for the hotel is somewhat frustrating. After 3 PM on the weekend you need your key to go up to your room. There are some quirks, but overall, a great place to stay.
Nice rooms and service but too close to the emergency room. Sirens all night
Good rooms, breakfast, and location. We stayed in the executive suite as diamond members and appreciated the service and accommodation. As always, Hyatt is the best
1 min walk to Michigan Avenue, plenty of restaurants around and shopping, is our 2nd stay at a king suite and is huge! Great place!
Free Wi-Fi. Great service. Beautiful room with sliding barn door to the bathroom. Awesome bar, with an amazing breakfast buffet. Get the cinnamon roll French toast with Nutella and whip.
Attended a casino night. Lots of fun, staff was accommodating, and ballrooms are nicely spaced out. Ceiling was a little low in the room, but everything was very nice.
Very nice facility and friendly staff. Great location.
when I call for event who ever answered phone did not know anything about information. She was very rude.
Very nice clean and convenient hotel located perfectly and has Starbucks, cool enough? Very convenient for business events and conferences.
It is just like it's site, staff are polite and friendly, good location, nice rooms within a good facility. It gets 3 stars because it is exactly what you would expect if you checked its site and the price. nothing more or less. I'd have no trouble stay here again. I didn't find anything that would make me reduce my rating and didn't encounter any pleasant surprises or exceptional experiences that would make me raise it
Staff was very unprofessional got upgraded to suites by their mistake and my expense.650.00 more ..wanted to get us out of there checkout time instead of taking care of the mistake. Was told to email the manager.they don't respond back.. definitely better places to stay
Visited the Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile in conjunction with the NAR Conference. The hotel was very nice with a great restaurant on the second floor.
It's a very good hotel. It is our regular place to stay whenever we visit Chicago.
The room was nice but lacked any usb charging, except through the TV. The bed was comfortable and hotel location convenient. One downfall was no microwave. Overall, it was good though and customer service a positive.
As my expectations for large scale chain hotels are not very high, I was pleasantly surprised by the Hyatt Magnificent Mile. The guestrooms have new carpet, the service is quick, and the onsite food is actually quite good. But for goodness sake, please get rid of the Gideon bibles.
