I've only been here one night, but already I love this hotel. It has an excellent fitness centre that is open 24 hours. The rooms are cosy with a pretty nice view. The bathroom is very modern. Definitely my favourite hotel in Seattle so far!
A friend and I got tickets for the party after dark gala and it was so fun!! Open bar every where, (Awesome) food was decent. They served chicken wings, paella, veggies and fruit. Photo booths were set up around with props to take funny pics. And even a candy bar!!!!! The event was set up so lovely. The best part of the night was the silent disco area, you could tell what channel other people were on due to the color on their head phones and my friend and I danced the night away in there with other amazing people!!!! SoOooo fun, we can't wait till next year
Family favorite! The admission is pricey, but well worth it! My family spent nearly 4 hours here! There is something for everyone :) The highlight of our visit to the academy of science was seeing the albino crocodile!! This museum is the most interactive museum I have ever been too (with the Seattle Pacific Science Museum being a close second). Highly recommend for explorers of all ages!
Great location that is within walking distance to pike place, the piers, night life, shopping and even Starbucks.
Staff is friendly, elevators are fast and rooms are clean.
They have a restaurant on site with a bar and the hotel is filled with amenities.
Only downside to this hotel is the cost of parking which is $50 per night. Your other option is Street parking which is free on Sunday or a parking garage.
Check Priceline for deals as that s what s attractive about this location as well.
Located in a great place. Has plenty of amenities including sauna and steam room. Pool is decent size and well maintained. Gym is pretty big and has lot of exercise equipment. Staff is courteous. They have a concierge service as well. Rooms have good views of the downtown. There is a restaurant in the lobby area as well as a separate cafe. They got valet parking. Plenty of restaurants nearby. There is no laundry onsite, like every Hyatt. Check with the front desk, they can guide you to the nearest laundromat. Loved my stay in this property.

The room was as expected-clean and spacious with all basic amenities. The bed was king sized. The receptionist was very friendly. I stayed here for only one night, my experience was good.
My favorite hotel in the USA. Amazing for business, amazing for pleasure. Sets the standard for Hyatts and resorts. Awesome restaurant (with plenty GFO), excellent gym and saline pool. Love the Leed sustainability focus. And such kind staff. I m currently staying at a M/rival which I thought would be a great experience. It s subpar, which inspired me to go back and write a review for the olive 8, one of my favorite hotels and where I ve spent over 100 nights total for work. Thank you olive 8 fam!
My wife and I lucked out using Hotwire and scored the Hyatt and Olive 8 and I must say it is one of the finest hotels in Seattle. We enjoy having date nights in Seattle and so we've stayed at many of the Seattle hotels over the years and we are so excited book here.
The staff is 5*s in hospitality and customer service. The walls are very sound proof and we've never heard noise from our next door neighbors- our most recent time there was a family with a small child and not a peep. Also, the staff on several occasions have offered upgrades for room and view to us at a reasonable price. The restaurant in the lobby serves delicious drinks and we find ourselves drinking from there more than nearby restaurant bars. Food quality is also what you would expect from a nice hotel.
All in all, if we have the opportunity to stay at the Hyatt at Olive 8, we jump at the opportunity and yo will too!
