Hutchison Ports Australia Review

Not so much as a review of their business but criticism of their appalling way of notifying their employees of their employment termination. To do so very late on a Friday night by a text message reflects very poorly on their company ethics, the intestinal fortitude of Hutchinson Ports management and their general business practices. Dealing with Sydney stevedores in general is at best a fraught business, dealing with such a company as Hutchinson is to say the least, distasteful.

The thing that Hutcho's beats all the other wharfs is that they have nice big, clean dunnys. (no photo)

Place is clean! But moment you get into a grid the whole plan falls apart, they leave you in a grid and load badly and slowly then just take off for change over and leave you there even longer!!! Worst port in Sydney

The turn around times are very good and staff always ready to help with problems

Great friendly, professional organization. Very safe, tidy and organised workplace.

You really don't no what you are hoing to get. You can be there for 20 min or4 hrs. The place is fully automated an you have stand on this pressure matt_ an if you move it stops the whole processes. The matt wouldn't be 1m by 1m something you find in a 3rd world countries

Would be a Better Place if they had more Humans working there than Machines to do the Job

this place should be close down. due to slow of everything
lack of people attendant and even the phone call from each box is disconnect or not connect. so people stuck in the port not sure who to help. unbelievable.

they need to get there heads out of where it doesnt shine

As a truck driver, sometimes we have to stay here for more than an hour under the hot sun during a hot day !In this place there no tap water to drink, if you are thirsty or a vend-machine for a snack! I hope someone from the office read this and take care of it!!
