I ve given reviews tons of times, this is a first for me. I ve taken my original review and changed it to 5 star. I m excited to say why! I was put into contact with the Guest Services, this is when everything changed. My concerns where not only heard but immediately addressed. I was no longer trying to reach someone, they were calling me. The compassion that was shown to me regarding my situation (living 4 hrs from facility) was genuine and empathetic. I was made promises and those promises were delivered and then some. Because of this turn of events, I can say that Hunterdone care center is the only place I would want my family member to be. I don t regret giving the below review, I do however wish I had contacted Guest Services sooner. I don t know if this is bad or not (going to do it anyway) but they have a gem, his name is Usher. He s not once told me a lie, he s followed through with every promise and also done even more. I ve been in contact with other departments and I m overjoyed at the attention they are giving to my mother-in-law, father-in-law my husband and myself. I m elated. Every business needs an Usher, you can feel at ease knowing they hire the best because he certainly is.
So frustrating!! My mother-in-law is in Aspen wing and since the day she arrived the phone in her room has not worked. Trying to reach someone at the nurses station is hopeless. I live 3 hours away and my father-in-law has been sick and not able to go visit. By phone is the only way to communicate. I ve been told more times than I can count that they will contact maintenance, this if course hasn t happened. Three days ago (rare occasion that I do get a nurse) the nurse hung up on me. I m furious..
