Dont bother calling if you have drug dealers driving stolen cars living next door. Dealing drugs and auto theft are not crimes in hunt county.

deputy hall is a zero star candidate. Kudos tho for looking like a complete fool by a couple of 16 year old kids on youtube.

This is a bit late, but back in 2014 I was Arrested by Sherriff Ball, on a warrant. It was my first offense and I wasnt aware it was a warrant, I was asleep on my couch when he polietly knocked and asked for me. I spoke with him for a moment as he informed he was here to take me to hunt county's jail on an outstanding warrant. I asked if he mind if I changed, since I was in a sun dress, he smiled and said aslong as i allow him in. I changed promptly in my room and woke my mother to let her know what was going on. She stepped out to speak with him while I got changed. When I was ready we walked to his patrol car and he offered me the front set, I allowed him to cuff me and we left for the drive. He asked me why I was being arrested and I explained the situation, I had stolen to help my family through a rough time. And he gave me information on a bunch of different non profit organizations and other things for future reference. He was a Great person and honestly I never want to be arrested again but if I had to I'd hope I get an sherriff or officer as nice as him. We are all human and make mistakes and he helped me make things better for myself and my family. Thank you again from the 18 year old girl from 2014

We are from Dallas, an hour away from Greenville. On Memorial Day my vehicle was stalled on the service road of I-30 as I was on my way to Commerce. I had absolutely no one to call for help. I called the number on the back of my TDL. It was less than ten minutes before an officer showed up and less than thirty minutes before I was back on the road again. I was so surprised , that I didn't even get his name from his badge! In Dallas you have to call for assistance over and over and still may not be sent anyone. Thanks again.

Ever? I called for an emergency several times on a Sunday afternoon a few weeks and no one picked up. Also just tried to call again today (non-emergency) with the same experience. It's Saturday and almost 11:00, called 3 times and no answer

How about leave the kids...and everyone else, ALONE!!!

When you contact a sheriffs office for abuse and neglect by law they are supposed to file a report within 36 hrs and have it sent off.. They failed to report anything which is against the law. In contact with internal affairs after today.

Saw the Youtube video of Officer Hall. If a police officer needs kids to google if cussing is against the law he doesn't need to be on the police force. Honestly if an officer doesn't know the US constitution word for word they shouldn't be a police officer period.

Thank you Hunt County for being a prime example of why citizens should arm themselves!

I called and called about possible automatic weapons fire near my house and the rude dispatch kept telling me they are coming sir. At first she said, "shooting guns is legal outside of city limits." And I just thought, so, disturbing the peace is legal (shooting after dark on a school night) shooting right next to houses is legal? And rapid fire, possible automatic weapons isn't even worth a check?

After being told they were busy and they would be there later, I sat and waited while the poppopop of rapid fire about 10 yards behind my house, scaring my family and other neighbors continued...

No dispatch ever showed up. Lesson learned: Dont wait for Hunt County to help.

Hey Hunt County look at the reviews of your sherriffs department. Might need to drain the swamp....

Closed their reception desk before 1pm on a Friday.

Hunt county makes everything so hard. I can t even take care of a traffic violation without bs and hoops to jump through.

Have fun trying to get any information out of this office. I called 4+ times and they never gave me the correct number for an investigation.

I do not like the sheriffs department I had an incident with one of the offices where he open my door and let some people in that were staying here they killed a kitten and I told the sheriffs department I do not want them in my home and he told me I was goingto jail

This is by far the worst place to have to get and ID card in the known universe! Horrible

Deputy Hall needs more training. Very scary that he is out patrolling the streets and has no clue what he's doing.

I have called on multiple occasions about noise coming from the neighbors. They have never sent anyone out

Having lived in an around Hunt Co. for 40 + years i can say without question that the Hunt Co sheriff Dept an the officers they employ are some of THE MOST arrogant rude,and unprofessional LEO's around ...they have a WELL KNOWN reputation for operating outside of the law as well as making up laws as they go/as they see fit ,rather than enforcing ACTUAL Texas state law... .they not only give Hunt county a bad name but reflect VERY poorly on LEO's across the state of Texas !
P.S. as seen in the recent YT video they also routinely harass young people who are not breaking the law while [like i mentioned above] misquoting/making up FAKE law's to intimidate just about anyone they may come in contact with !!
