Watch out for these folks. They're infamous copyright trolls, juggling hundreds, perhaps even thousands, of nonsensical cases. Their game? Exploiting the legal system to intimidate and coerce people into shelling out advance payments just to escape the case. I sincerely wish they'd stumble upon a 'wrong' defendant one day and face the consequences themselves!
It's a good idea to do some background research prior to hiring any professional. Google Hughes Socol Copyright Trolls and see what comes up. Also, after presenting no bills or invoices for nine monthes they sent me a single line inivoice for $230,000 and immediately demanded arbitration and now they have a $230,000 federal judgment against me.

Worst lawyers and immigration team I ever dealt with. They will steal your money, disrespect you and stop responding to your emails once you make the big payment in advance. Also, all the positive reviews are either their employees or fake accounts. They need to be sued.

I hired Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym after I was involved in an auto accident. The individual that hit me was intoxicated and left the scene of the accident. I began working with the insurance company of the other driver, to try and the matter on my own. They downgraded the value of my vehicle, wanted me to stop my doctor appointments, and then offered a very small amount of compensation for my injuries. They didn't seem very concerned about my injury. Prior to this experience, I had never hired an attorney or been involved in a lawsuit, so I was hesitant to start this process. I heard from a friend that Mark Dym was the best in the business, so I called him. He handled everything. Mark set me up with a new doctor and contacted the insurance company. I was then sent to rehab at ATI physical therapy. After approximately 6 weeks of therapy, I felt markedly better. I also received a settlement that was 5 times the amount originally offered by the insurance company. Mark is patient, thoughtful, and extremely intelligent. He is all about the little guy and advocates and fights for what is right. After this experience and the service provided by Mark and his team, I will never hire a different law firm.
