Edgar Olivia was one of the most helpful personal I have spoken to through MVPs customer care line. He not only explained to me thoroughly about the situation that was occurring, he also called the other party involved in the situation and effectively got an outcome necessary. Thank you so much Edgar. I hope this gets to you and your supervisors.

Absloutely!!!! Horrible plan and cutomer service!!! After waiting and being transferred from person to person... they hang up on you. No coverage for emergent and necessary dental procedures!! They dont care!!! Better to have no insurance then insurance that doesnt cover anything!! They deserve 0 stars!!! Dont pick this insurance!!

and I was greeted by a courteous representative that so graciously assisted me . He was able to renew my daughter and I . They really saved me a lot of paperwork and time . Thank you

MVP has been an absolute disaster to work with. They messed up my initial processing paperwork, double charged me for my first month, were unable to process a payment from my accurate bank account and charged me for it. For the amount of time I've spent on the phone trying to fix their mess-ups, it is insane how much I have to pay them for the poorest healthcare I've ever had.

I actually can't even give it one star. Their customer service is an absolute horror story. We use them for our business, and they are horrible to us over the phone, and do not help us one bit! We've ask for an employee's coverage to be canceled months ago. We have proof in writing, and they still send us bills for her. If we don't pay the full amount, the other employees suffer while they cancel everyone's coverage. I am SHOCKED at how horrible their customer service is. SAVE yourself the trouble and do not use them!!!!

Just got home after meeting with Jessica from MVP ...

Just got home after meeting with Jessica from MVP healthcare and she literally saved my life! I got a call from the hospital today saying that my insurance was terminated and I was going to be responsible for $101,000 bill and possibly more for my ER trip, 5 day stay at hospital and 2 surgeries. Jessica, helped me get health insurance and luckily it covers me up to 3 months back. So she literally saved me $101,000 by getting me insured. Thank you so much Jessica and MVP healthcare! Thank you thank you thank you... I can't thank you enough.

After I posted my review below a few days ago, a representative by the name of Daniel G. called me to help me with my children's insurance issue. Daniel went above and beyond and updated me 2-3 times a day ( every day )as well as took the stress of my shoulders and worked collaboratively with NYS and other MVP departments to get their insurance fixed. He listened, and was empathetic to my situation. He got my problem resolved and I cannot thank him enough. MVP should have more employees like Daniel, he is exceptional. My 5 star update is based on this recent experience.

This review deserves ZERO stars. This insurance company needs to completely retrain all their customer service reps. You will get a different answer depending who picks up the phone when you call. EVERY TIME I have requested to speak to a manager they're either on lunch, in a meeting, on a call, or I get their voicemail. I get empty promises that they will send an email and escalate my issue to finance, to managers, NO one ever calls back no one seems to care that my two young children were un-rightfully terminated due to a mistake NYS of health made hiking up their premium amounts without warrant. They do not care about the people they are servicing on the other side of the phone. I guess I will have to show up in person to the corporate office for someone to care enough to help me with my issue!

DO NOT bother signing up for MVP insurance unless you want headaches and stress and no active coverage for you and your family.

I've been using MVP health care for about 14 years...

I've been using MVP health care for about 14 years. I've been lucky enough to have great doctors all along the way. MVP also has a great dental service. I have excellent hospitals. I can get appointments when I need them. The copayments are light. It is not that expensive and I highly recommend it for individuals or companies who need it for their employees. Give them a call in their Tarrytown office and you'll see what it's all about!
