I stopped in for lunch on the recommendation of a coworker. Parking is scarce in the area, kind of like our server... but the food was delicious and well-presented. The owner came by to greet us when we sat down (a rare occasion most other places these days). The bar seemed like a busy spot, but the tables weren't that full. I got the Greek salad, which was bright and flavorful. Some of the kalamata olives were pitted and some were not, so it was like playing Greccian roulette with every bite. Very quaint, historic-style atmosphere.

If you crave the comforts of a homemade Thanksgiving-style during the holiday off-season, this is your place. They're known for their turkey dinners and Spanish coffee. It can be a bit on the touristy side of things but the food is still great and it's nice to support a local institution. Plus sometimes you just feel the need to gnaw on a gigantic Turkey leg.

The best turkey dinner in town! If you have never been to this place, do yourself a favor. It has been around for many years for a reason. When I want some comfort and maybe a Spanish coffee, I always go with Huber's.
Thanks for your service and consistency. 5 STARS!

I loved the atmosphere, especially if you can sit in the historic section. It reminds of an old speak easy. Aside from the look, the food was quote tasty. I had to the ravioli with Dungeness crab. The mix of flavors were incredible.

Old Portland and a representative example of Chinese-American success in what has been a racist Portland community. The food is consistently excellent, reasonably priced, and excellent service.

Excellent Service! Watching Stephen make Spanish Coffees the stylish way is impressive on it's own! The only thing I would wish for is a few plant-based menu items besises fries or chips, but I know that is not their history.

Relaxing Christmas Eve; the roasted turkey was delicious with mashed potatoes, gravy and steamed veggies. The Spanish coffee is the best I've ever had and it's fun to watch the bartender make them. This place is super busy on holidays so expect a wait. The bar top is available to wait for seating but no wait-list. Only reservations in advance.

I enjoy having lunch here every so often but mainly around the holidays. Good turkey sandwich selections plus other meal selections if you are really hungry. Overall I think it's a little overpriced for the type of food you get but the atmosphere is really what you are paying the premium on.

Honestly I came for a shot but my friend swears by the food. She had salmon and mash potatoes. Seemed a little expensive but you're paying for the aesthetic of being downtown in a nice building so I "get it"

Delightful! The Spanish coffee was certainly entertaining to watch them make and was a perfect warming perk for brunch. Had a buffalo burger that was flavorful and perfectly crisp fries. Real nice place that I'd definitely recommend.

Huber's is underrated, as it's the best food I've had in Portland! Doesn't seem busy, so it's a best kept secret right now. If you're in town, you have to visit Huber's for top notch quality food, atmosphere, and service. Definitely get the Huber's Spanish Coffee(decaf if it's late), and you'll be in for a treat, as they prepare it at your table, with a show of flames and liquor, carmelizing sugar in front of your eyes, amazing spectacle(I definitely tipped the tip jar on this one! Do so if you feel the same.). The Turkey and ham were The best I've had, they know what they are doing here. The pricing is good for the amazing food and experience. Try this place out, you owe it to yourself.

What a surprise, make sure to order the Spanish coffee. Preparing it is a true show! Absolutely wonderful entertainment and a powerful spiked coffee too! The food was great and the service was friendly. Definitely a fun spot to hit while in Portland.

This is a wonderful place with extremely kind staff. Of course I had the Spanish coffee and the happy hour menu is to die for at great prices. Stop by and experience a Portland staple then enjoy the city.

Nice place inside and the staff was friendly but if you value your health then this is not your spot. I tried a little of some different dishes and I wasn t very impressed. My salad was LOADED with sugar, especially the dressing and I do wonder if they use MSG. I m very sensitive to it and felt wrecked the next day but can t say for sure. Turkey was like rubber so they re not healthy birds that they use. Artichoke dip was tasty but probably came out of a bucket. I get it that it s about the environment and the Spanish Coffees which were entertaining to watch them make but the quality of food was right down there with fast food.

The back room bar and seating have a great atmosphere and low light ambience that is old fashioned and relaxing. Be sure to order their signature Spanish Coffee and enjoy the show the bar tender puts on for you.

After we finished the Margarita Crawl over the weekend we stopped by Huber's Cafe for desert and a Spanish coffee. Paul took us to our table and he was a hoot! We ordered tiramisu which was amazing as was the making of the Spanish coffee! Huber's is an awesome place.

Came here for happy hour. Serving old school cocktails and their signature iced Spanish coffee, poured with flair and showmanship. Generous pours. Service is great. Bartenders attentive, kind and chatty.

Im not going to make a long post about how phenomenal this place is....however, if you don't try this establishment, you are missing out. Awesome food. Turkey dinner is fantastic and the strognoff is to die for. And the atmosphere is nostalgic and has a good vibe. YOU MUST HAVE THE SPANISH COFFEE! We will definately be back!

I just happened to randomly stop here as it was my first time in Portland, and I just happened to walk by, and I was hungry. So, it was a match made in heaven. The place definitely has an old vibe to it, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. I went back a couple of nights later, as a friend was aghast that I had been there and not tried the Spanish Coffee, so I went back to rectify that. It is a specialty table made drink, and let's just say that if one isn't enough, you might consider taking that first of twelve steps.

A classic place to visit! Took my friend there that had never been and we enjoyed the Spanish coffees at the bar! Yummy! I love how the place is always packed and bustling, even on a Wednesday night!

This is a great place to eat, especially their Beer Battered Onion Rings! Those are so amazing! Def recommend whether you are touring Portland, working near by, or otherwise to swing by and try their food!

Make a beeline for the back room, it's where you want to be sitting. Spanish Coffee is fun to watch get made, but will get you wasted; opt for a fresh squeezed grapefruit juice instead. Turkey is well-prepared. There is a separate entrance to the bar from the street, learn where it is and save yourself an awkward entrance.

The food was amazing! Rave reviews from everyone at our table. Our order consisted of the half & half (Turkey and ham), the ham dinner, beef stroganoff, clam chowder, caesar salad, and spinach artichoke dip. We also had Spanish coffees.... there's a reason Huber's is known for them!
