Great experience. Been out of the industry for awhile, just doing normal work. Recently quit my job wanting to do other things. Signed up with Howell management with their extras department, and was on set a week later.
Today 16/12/19 was sent for an extras casting at the studios. It's an industry where this hardly happens and is usually up and down. However, Howell has put my faith in agents again.

Since I put my photos up I've had 5 extra's jobs. Kristy has given me some excellent advice which I'm currently following up. I love the communication skills and energy the Howell team have shown and I get the sense that they want us to succeed. They also seem to have great connections.

I have been signed with Howell Management since I was 16 and I couldn't recommend the agency enough. Kristy is so supportive and nurturing, and really takes the time to get to know her talent. She has always made an effort to come and watch me perform. Not only that, but she is always totally honest which I really appreciate - exactly what you need in an industry like this.

While signed to Howell, I have scored various commercial jobs for brands like British Paints, Sleeping Duck Matress, Amart Furniture plus countless others. I am grateful for the opportunities that have been afforded to me from the faith they have placed in my skills as a performer when submitting me to casting directors. The Managing Director, Kristy Howell, has especially been supportive of my journey, being responsive to all forms of communication I send out if I had any urgent questions regarding an audition/script/callsheet, as well as being supportive of the things I'm undertaking being independent projects or Actor training. I am very excited to see what is ahead for 2020.

Had to pay something like 170 - 180 for "administration" + casting networks. Ive been with them 2 months and have not recieved an audition.

AVOID. important points. Beware.You are just a number to them and treated as such. understand that you are just image stuffing for their books They are not agents and have no real connections, or interest in your progression. Turns out you can apply for the exact same jobs they offer using the same source, facebook, and star now. As i have recently discovered. Also after sign up fee is paid whether via first job or upfront, you will notice you don't get sent the same amount of availability notices. They handball to the client for responsibility as far as being submitted. as someone who has studied acting this is an insulting response. client choice is a given BUT we have to be put forward for that to be true. Save your money, source from the same places, do a monologue and get a real agent, go with numerous other agencies out there that don't charge a sign up fee ( money grab) but still deliver and have respect for those on their roster and welcome communication. you need to be able to feel as though you can ask questions, seek advice and not be penalised for doing so.
