Howe Management Group Review

Had several very odd encounters with the property manager Jackie Howe. Had a few issues with my unit, so contacted Ms Howe for advice thinking she would be a helpful ally considering i been a homeowner in good standing for many years. WRONG! Jackie immediately started literally ranting about how I m the homeowner and i have all these responsibilities as the owner and she s not getting involved. I tried to explain to her what s in the CCR s and it states the association responsibilities very clearly. She literally yells at me about how she manages so many associations and she can t remember what s in all the CC&R s. Understood however at least be professional and lets together go through the CC&R s and I ll show you exactly the page and paragraph. Slam - literally hung up on me!
I m thinking ok, maybe she s having a bad moment, so i call back later. Immediately hangs up on me. Very very strange behavior. So i call again, this time one of her assistants picks up her extension and we sort of work through the issues. Big liar because she was telling her assistant something completely different from what the issue was just to make it seem like she was right. So OMG, Jackie is a very nasty and adversarial woman. Politeness does not register with her so don t even bother.
If you need to deal with this company, get everything in writing and save it as you may unfortunately need the documents if you ever need to litigate against HOA because she s putting the board at risk with her attitude.

Oh if there were only a way to do 0 stars or even negative stars I would.
Jackie Howe of HOWE Management has to be one of the lowest classed and unprofessional people I have ever had to deal with in an association and this is why:
She is a liar - will say one thing to one person and something else to another - always always always get everything in writing when ever dealing with her and keep the conversation as a record. She will shout you down and try to threaten you if you attempt to present her with facts like what is in the by-laws or in the ccr's. She seems to try to make up her own rules and that will bite her in her arse some day because everyone is getting fed up with her!
Not one of the neighbors has ever had a good interaction with her and this is a large development which says a lot.
My goal is to start pressuring the board to do something about her and I dont care how much she supposedly saves us with the budget, her nastiness, threats, and downright unprofessional-ism will no longer be tolerated.

They are not a good company. You will be sorry if you let them manage your community.

Working with Jackie was the smoothest experience I've had thus far. She knows how to bring just the right vendors in, making it an enjoyable and seamless experience for the client. Thank you, Jackie!

My neighbours were awful! They were constantly bringing down the value in my association... THEY ARE PROB ONE OF THESE BAD REVIEWS that are complaining about not being understood when they get in trouble for not following the rules. I too received a violation, I called Jackie and she explained to me how I need to change my front lawn so that it is in compliance. It wasn't fun changing it but all in all she nicely explained how she was trying to improve the quality of the HOA. I appreciate that she cares; literally she genuinely cares! That's hard to find!

This is the worst HOA company you can ever work with. I wouldn't wish interaction with this company on my worst enemy. Jackie Howe - the owner and property manager is the most unprofessional person I have ever worked with or had to correspond. The HOA costs for our home were steep and minimal was expected, yet Jackie has created an environment of dissatisfaction from the homeowners who have to deal with her. It is a very unfortunate situation to have this woman and her company representing the HOA for a community that is wonderful to live in. We love everything about the home community in Danville that we lived in with the exception of Jackie Howe and her HOA company. Whatever you do, do not work with her or employ her by any means.
