They are not good at all!! People should never rent or buy any thing from them

I have been a tenant of H.E. for 6 years now! In the beginning there were problems, but I do believe that they could tell that I wasn't that typical Section 8 tenant and really care about where my kids and I have to call home! I would recommend them to anyone with a HCV. I can really appreciate a landlord that will work with you when LIFE happens!

I have lived in one of their rentals for a little more than a year and they have been so wonderful. I have and will continue to recommend them to friends and family. Everyone you speak to is friendly.

I did not care for how they deal with someone trying to rent from them. I informed them that I was interested in one of their multi unit properties. One minute it was available and the next it wasn't. So I asked if they had anymore, I was told they didn't. Then I asked again a day later and was told they had two properties available and one was a unit in the place where I had inquired about. Scheduled to view the property and they changed the time on me 3x. No one ever showed up so that I could view. Got a call saying they were having car trouble could I come back a few hours later (after I left my job to view it). Came back and still no one showed. Called me 20 minutes after the appointment saying they were on the way. I had already left. Bad way to handle business.

I stay in one their houses for three years. When i first moved there with my three kids it was okay(summer time) right when it start getting cold, there was so many roaches and mices, like omg. Then when once there was mold growning in the basement i knew it was already time to leave. I called and told them about the mold. All they did was spray paint it, but it grew through it and on top of it. Then Mr. Houston was mad i was leaving. Before i gave their key back. They had someone come in break a glass and the kitchen fall in the cabinet, so they couldn't give my deposit back. THESE PEOPLE ARE SUMLORDS. I REPEAT DO NOT RENT FROM THEM AT ALL

Mr Houston has a good heart and works with people. I recommend them!!
