Not easy to recieve accommodations even with child and as a widow.

allows drug dealers to deal drugs, noise noise noise garbage in halls homeless people allowed to LIVE with drug dealers...if you complain, they get nasty with YOU..would give them a zero if i could..they let the drug dealers dictate to them about exterminating bed bugs..so they put other tenants at risk.....management talks nasty to you if you complain

I am a provider attempting to assist a hospitalized client with transition back into their community. I cannot even count the number of times I have attempted to contact the Section 8 program. I started this process in March, 2018 and STILL, as of this date (8/22/18) have not received a single call back after leaving multiple messages and have twice left specific information on where to mail a Sec. 8 application, which has never been received by my client. I ran a Sec. 8 program in the State of Virginia. If any of my staff were this incompetent I would have fired all of them long ago. Ridiculous.

FULL OF BED BUGS!THE GOVERNMENT KNOWS IT AND WANTS THEM THERE. THE CITY OF ASHEVILLE KNOWS IT'S FULL OF BED BUGS

They do not truly care about anyone. I have been on a waiting list for years, and they said they mailed me something WHICH I NEVER GOT so now I have to reapply and go to the end of the waiting list. I now have 2 babies in diapers and nowhere to go and all I get is attitude. For people that are supposed to help they sure don't.

Its says alot about a country in how they treat their poor. These people could care less, whether you're disabled, elderly, or whatever circumstances that bring you here. You are only a number.

Extremely understaffed, nothing gets done because of office politics. The old saying two many chiefs not enough indians. Especially the two rhat ride together all the time total waste of money that could be used for help on sites

Went in to take application back ,I handed it to them they stamped it took my forms of identifications made copys and that's all they didn't tell me nothing I don't no of it was my gender or my nationality but the person in front of me was opposite of me and they got all kinds of info anyways hopefully I can't get a home

As a Landlord I found the Housing Authority to be friendly and helpful. Very easy to work with.

I literally have no where to go or stay and when I get the chance I can t even get on the phone with anybody to figure it out. Terrible customer service when I talk to anyone they always have an attitude and never know what they re doing.
