Best Chinese food in the area, not very fond of the chairs as I'm tall. Excellent service, I'd probably move the lobster tank to make the entry appear better. Perhaps seating for carry out?

It's Chinese takeout, it's expensive, but always a delight

My family and I have been eating here for years for b'days, holidays, you name it. The best chinese food in the western suburbs!!

Bad experience

Based on all the reviews we gave this restaurant a shot for takeout. We have gluten allergy for a family member and this was informed at the time of placing order and I even repeated this while picking up. And we were told that particular order we placed is gluten free. Well, the order was not, as the family member had an extremely bad reaction and kept throwing up all night. When we brought this up to the management they just said that it was gluten free food and they can reimburse for the order. We don t care about the reimbursement or money and want them to be just more careful next time. But they just said that everything was fine. So this was the first and last time for us.

Based on every one else s experience I would think this is a great restaurant , but the management s arrogance to not even look into something leaves much to be desired.

This was my absolutely favorite restaurant. Food has always been excellent and fairly priced. In the past year; we must have been here 15-20 time. But today, 2/2/19; I had the absolutely worst service. Our server today was extremely rude, inconsiderate and couldn t wait to get us out of the restaurant.
Brought us food after ordering and never came back. The next time was with the check.
No dessert option, no drink option and no seconds.
Absolutely the worst service and I will not be returning to this restaurant again!

Currently best Chinese in town. When Chong Ye closed we were bummed, until we found this place. Mongolian beef, bbq pork fried rice, and orange chicken are the BEST.

And they are open MONDAYS...which is rare.

Very friendly staff! I went on Mother s Day, the place was very clean. I am someone who likes to check the food in the bag and make sure everything is in there before I go. When I started to do it, one of the ladies with short black hair offered to do it for me! She didn t make me feel like I was bothering her. She checked everything without complaining. Love the service! Also, the food was delicious:)

The food is fine, but as I was raised in Chinese Culture, the Food is not the best. The Restaurant is overall good, but could improve on the style and feeling inside the restaurant and the silverware! Plastic cups!

This Chinese place is legit. My family has been going to this restaurant since I was a kid. If we wanted very good Chinese food and didn't want the quickie or standard restaurant, this is the only place to go. It is our celebration place to go to for special events. I recommend their shrimp and scallops in Walnut sauce. If you can read Chinese, they have a Chinese menu. Some good dishes are on there that's not on the regular menu. We also are fond of their hot and south seafood soup. This place will always be my favorite Chinese restaurant. The staff has always been great and the place is nice inside. Not like those places that are run down. You will not regret going here.

First time diner there. All of us ordered the "small" portions that were huge. Another meal awaits us at home. Definitely recommend.

Great mix of traditional Chinese cuisine as well as some more Americanized dishes. Been a steady staple for us for decades. West Lake Beef soup is great. Might require larger group size though.

We live very close to this restaurant. It was a weekly family tradition to bring in food from this restaurant twice a month. It was consistently awesome. We felt lucky to be so close to a restaurant which we considered the best Chinese restaurant in Western suburbs. However, sadly starting this year, this all started to change. The dishes are bland, the crab rangoons are covered with oil sometimes (meaning being constantly refried) and worst of all, the family has had food poisoning a couple of times. This turned us off from the restaurant. Instead of insisting for their food, we now avoid it. For us it it was very sad, since we were such a big fan. I will not recommend this place any more.

We often order for delivery at the office I work for. The food is great and the delivery man is always so nice and friendly. I have also done carry out but never dined in yet. The food never disappoints us and we have been ordering for the office for years and will continue to do so. Ordering from them today!

My favorite dishes are the salt and pepper shrimp without the shell, shrimp and tofu, and the fish fillet with ginger and onion. We come here quite a bit and the food is always fantastic.

Food is good, service is indifferent and on the edge of rude. Even when the place is not busy, servers disappear and you have to struggle to get someone to pay attention. Not a good idea to throw the cutlery on the table. I rate food 8/10 Presentation 7/10 Service 3/10. Improve your service and I will improve my review.

3 Strikes You're Out! After 3 outings of terrible tasting, cool to room temperature food this reviewer will take no more. Do yourself a favor and try anything but this poor mistake for a restaurant. At the prices they ask for their meals you'd think they'd put a more personal touch into the food. Bland, unseasoned, You're Out!!!

This place was fenomenal!! We had a taste of different dishes and the food was excelent on every plate! The service was excellent. Off the bat as soon as we were sat the hostess made sure we had the correct seats and kids menus we had with our party. Love attention to detail!

The best Chinese restaurant I ve ever been too easily. The best dishes are salt and pepper shrimp, ginger fish filet, black pepper fish filet, and Mongolian beef, all paired well with fried rice. If you can handle it, ask for everything extra spicy... it s not over top and gives it the extra zing. Absolutely delicious!

Both the pork and beef dishes were very poorly made. Meats had an old,yesterday 's leftover taste.

Tried this place on a whim and so glad I did. Chicken Fried rice was delicious (and didn t have peas and carrots, just now I like it) Spring rolls and cashew chicken were also great.

I believe this is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. What you get here is service and quality. The food is always good and very tasty. Check out the lunch specials.

Food seemed like your average Chinese Restaurant. 9 people in my party. Waitress only would take 2 drink orders at a time. Then go and get them. This was at 1 pm on a Sat. No lunch rush. Prices for lunch specials seemed about average.

We have been to House of Emperor couple of times. The restaurant serves Cantonese style chinese food. The food is very authentic. I highly recommend their chinese style fried chicken (so crispy and tasty) and fucian fried rice. The place is spacious. The service is a hit or miss.

Ordered carryout. After pick-up found the order wasn't complete. Called the manager (Amy), went back to pick up the rest, the food was rancid. Enough said.

This is my go to place for Chinese food. I enjoyed their food.

I don't get here very often because it's a 50 minute drive and I have good Chinese food close to home. But when I do make the trip, I'm always very happy. This time we ordered Triple Delight, which consists of shrimp,chicken,and beef in a brown sauce. Excellent dish with a wonderful flavor. Next we had teriyaki sole,which is my go-to dish every time I eat here. It also has a brown sauce,but it's entirely different from the other.

Food was excellent. Service was good. Went for early dinner with a friend. Extensive menu and fair prices. Will continue to eat here.
