I absolutely love the retro style! Spent the day in the pools. One with the DJ was something I've never before experienced. When the pool got so full we had trouble moving around we made our way over to the lap pool and kid went in wading pool. Service is top notch! We'll definitely be back.

Spectacular in every way! Check in was easy, fast and friendly! Room was ready early and in tip top condition. The room is stylish and comfortable with great views of the pool and distant mountains. The pool is cool and fun to be around! Great drink and food service all day with a smile! The lobby and interior are a treat for the eyes with the retro mid century theme done beautifully! The gardens and grounds are well maintained with stunning examples of the different plants and trees of the region! This is a fantastic property to spend some at! Highly recommend!

I went for a spa day. It was fantastic. The spa is lovely. My massage was so good. I loved being able to just leisurely hang out and relax. We hung out at the pools afterwards. Just a sweet place to spend a day relaxing.

I've been here a few times and most recent when I attended the rooftop yoga classes they had offered. Both instructors were highly talented and truly helped me feel each stretch and breath to every movement. Afterwards, a complimentary pass to the pool was awarded and flyers for a discount at the restaurant. Staff are extremely friendly, professional and pleasant. Great, fun and classy vibe throughout the whole hotel and one place to hang out with your friends!! . Highly recommend and it's in the heart of downtown Scottsdale. Looking forward to going again and again!
Our a/c did not work in our room. They sent someone to fix it and brought us a fan. It never cooled down. After we found a couple roaches, one ran across the bottom of the bed, we asked to switch rooms. They put us in a room that was exactly the same as the one before. It was much cooler, but never fully cooled off to our comfort level. We found no bugs. The pool was gross, I've never seen so much skin and hair in a public pool. We got in and got right back out. The place has a cool vibe, but wasn't quite what we had hoped for. They did give us a discount for the inconvenience. I would rate it a 2.5 star hotel vs the 4 it is supposed to be. Gave 3 for the discount.
The hotel was amazing. Very retro which we love. They have some amazing art displays from electric guitars to mirrored walls. The walkways out side are like a tropical oasis in the desert. Sitting on our patio in the morning, there were a ton of birds playing and chirping. The pools are beautiful, two big pools and a wading pool for the kids! We had gotten take out to bring in and of course the restaurant gave us no silverware, my husband walked to the restaurant on premises and they were more than happy to give us silverware as well as anything else we needed. Bed was very comfortable and the bathtub is a must for us and it was lovely. I laid in the bathtub and we watched a movie. It also has privacy curtains if you choose to use them! We didn't, no need. The staff was very helpful and respectful. Overall the stay was fantastic!
My visit to the spa was a great experience. Matt was my massage therapist and his experience was appreciated in a perfect massage. I wish I had more time to book again. My facial was also wonderful. The spa was clean and elegant. I would recommend highly!
Is awesome atmosphere is grades I mean if you want to spend money and have a good time and a great place great locale... The Valley ho is the place to go vintage Valley of the Sun with an updated twist the bathrooms are awesome it's like having your own personal sauna and wait till you see the bathtub! If I could give 10 out of 10 I would. Definitely a gem of the Valley of the Sun!
Great place to eat. The food was amazing and the staff was very attentive, and nice. Love it there, and the deserts are amazing. Great at a good price. Worth every penny.
