Hotel Theoxenia Review

This hotel is maximum 2 stars . The room are 25 years old furniture. The bathroom is before first wheel was invented .AC not work and is very noisy . The beach is ok , food is ok .

Avoid this hotel!
I stayed with my family for 3 nights and we were very disappointed. Older facilities, flying ents in the bathroom, average food quality, no money back policy in case you want to leave because of bugs in the room. I wonder if all 4 star hotels are like that. I paid for all inclusive and I guess it included also the flying ents......

Should have come by car - the public transport is almost missing.

Apart from furniture that should be changed ... everything super ... cleaning food suuuper good ... personal attention ...

The rooms are spacious but very old, and the whole hotel is far from 4 stars. There is a nice playground. The animation is very weak, almost imperceptible, the program for adults in the evening is only in Russian and there is no way to get involved. The beach is not cleaned, with large stones and unsuitable for children. The good thing is that there are free sunbeds and umbrellas for guests, but we go to other beaches. The food is good. I would not repeat in this hotel.

The food is great, the pools are perfect - there are 4 of them and they have seawater, hygiene is satisfactory, there are plenty of facilities for children, deck chairs on the beach and a bar.
Disadvantages - there is nowhere to walk, no gyros nearby although there are 7 main courses for breakfast and dinner and all sorts of things that go to Greece if you don't eat gyros, the closest place to Ouranopolis 20 min on foot, the beach for Greek conditions is not great (if she were in Montenegro it would be ten)

I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
All hotel room in this hotel is old.and all the sewage of the hotel in the sea is empty.

The apartment was ok (maisonette), but it is max. a 3 stars hotel.
The rooms were cleaned up and towels were changed every day. There is a dryer in both bathrooms.
Also air conditioning on each floor (it worked ok).
Food: buffet
Breakfast was the same every day, but diversified. But: the cereals were the cheapest on the market (taste like plastic). And for the small children: no yoghurt (only milk).
For lunch and dinner there are min. 4 types of food which you can choose. And also ice cream and fruits (wassermelone or peaches).
BUT: my 3 years old child got a skin reaction on all her body because of the food or drinks (she tried the juices once). She needed 4 days of treatment to recover from this.
All other members of the group didn't have any problems/reactions.
Drinks: water, coffee, beer, ouzo, 2 types of concentrate made juices (not drinkable), cola/sprite at dosator (not bottle/dose).
Umbrellas: free on the beach and at the pool. We always found umbrellas and we were a big group.
Don't book AI. At least for drinks it doesn't make any sense if you would like to drinks juices. Only the cheap things are offered in AI. For example: only orange or cherry juices which contain actually only water and colorants. Really. I am not a difficult custumer, but this is inacceptable. I can not give to my child such kind of juices. I can pay separately for real juices. But which is then the sense of All Inclusive?!?

The hotel is by no means 4 ****. The rooms urgently need a radical renovation. The same goes for the lobby, the pool bar etc etc. It is from the '60s-'70s.
The cleaners are probably very bored. The very basics and whatever catches their eye.
The lady at the reception very helpful and polite.
Breakfast and dinner quite good with satisfactory variety.
The pools are very nice with sea water.

The awful place I ve ever been! The rooms are disgusting - with really old and dirty furniture, the mattresses are very uncomfortable and firm, TV is so small and old. There s no enough electric contacts in there. When I turned my hairdryer on the lights turned off. Some of the stuff are impolite and sometimes also rude. There are some strange rules which offend the guests. The food is all the same every day and there isn t diversity. If you want to take some salad you have to wait at a long queue. And the most shocking thing for me is that there s no espresso. Actually there is but it costs 3 . Sorry guys but that has nothing in common with four star hotel. Me and my boyfriend are so disappointed of this hotel.

Old hotel, non-functional air conditioning in 90% of the hotel, ok food, does not give you back, but at the requested price it has no way. If you miss the 80's, it is ideal!

If the wifi was more stable it would be perfect.
The room was clean and tidy the lobby looked good and the staff were very nice. The beach was clean and so was the water both in the sea and the pool.

Catastrophe. Dangerous shortcomings: my friend almost fell out of the balcony on the second floor, because the railing was not properly attached. Fly roasted in the fried egg, bird nests on the grill in the dining room, chairs smeared with bird droppings, everywhere risk of slipping in the sidewalks, the waiters in the restaurant sneeze into the hands or lean with his butt to the tables, where the guests dine. Food inedible.

Nice location, nicely designed hotel with lots of amenities, but dirty, old and unsurpassed. The beach is sandy, but there are stony rocks in the water.

Extremely view from the room and also good breakfast! Facilities and service are quite good. I want to emphasize that the chef's kitchen was full of variety of dishes. We thank you a lot Mr. Aggelos congratulations ! Last but most important is that the Internet needs upgrading!

The room has very obsolete furnishings. I paid for a side sea view room, but the sea is hardly visible, there is no dryer in the bathroom, but the food and the restaurant are good.

This place is lovely except for the rooms very dated and cold food very clean . When complained about soup and food being cold the manager said this is the greek way .They have a lovely beach and only a few drinks are on all inclusive, wine, ouzo,and lager.All salt pools.Such a shame.

Excellent location, just on the beach itself. The beach is reached by underground passage about 20m. The hotel is very old and requires a thorough renovation. The complex of the hotel facilities also has three open swimming pools (one children), children's mobiliary and sports grounds. The rooms are decent, the terraces are large, but the furniture is worn out. There is a central climate or poorly cooled. The biggest drawback is the difficulty in moving carts with babies, missing ramps, there is only a ramp to the pool. Wi-Fi is only at the reception desk and the pool and beach bar. At the reception desk is always a bumblebee. Food is solid. Self-exclusion system.

Dear Romanian, who went abroad to take your leave, please DO NOT CHOOSE this hotel Theoxenia. It's a head-to-tail sting. Listen to them. What gentlemen's garden? A roof and 2 plants put in boron? 4 star hotel but with furniture from the 80's? Cabbage air conditioning ... Will you remember the Costinesti of those years? That's the way it is here. I have been to foreign countries but it seems like there is too much distance between advertising and reality.

The hotel is interesting, the staff is good. Compared to other hotels, here most of all, the water in the pool is salty, which is why I was there only 1 time

In conclusion, to be honest, there s nothing to do here for a week, they managed to go to the sea 20 times a week, redo everything that is possible in the hotel and close by, go to the nearest town (very small), on the last day sat in the room stupidly there is nothing

The hotel has seen the views, but does not hand over the position mainly due to its staff (solid 4. I liked it very much that it wasn t crowded, when fully loaded, there was freedom and space on the beach, at the pools, and in the dining room in general everywhere. The food is very tasty, though and the choice was always 2-3 dishes.

There is no internet, even at reception. Aircondition only over head and central. Stuff...
In "AI" afternoon cookies are in restoran bar, so you come from pool take and go back instead of you have them on the pool bar. No drink water. You have to buy water or take in glass and bring to room on 5th floor. Only positive is Teo from reception.

The food is mellow under expectations, max 5 person (with Indulgence), insufficient sun loungers on the beach, beach towels for guarantee 10 per stay or hygiene 2 per day.
The double room is under expectations because the air conditioning works up to 30% the kitchen smell invades the rooms, you can not dry anything because everything gets smell of food, old dirty and damaged furniture, TV not travel of the room, bad stained bathrooms, dirty, otherwise the whole hotel is identical to 35 years ago, totally damaged nothing renovated or properly repaired, the 10-18 abnormal swimming pool program for vacation, the hotel's beach without a lifeguard and a first aid point.
I do not recommend this hotel because you are losing money, time and going home nervously in vacation vacation missed at this hotel !!! I do not recommend!!!

Great location, good food and very friendly staff. The rooms are a big minus, old furnished but clean and spacious. The pools are very nice, also the views and the sea water. The beach is with free sunbeds for ALL, clean and calm water. Monday is a Greek night. From my point of view this is 3 stars hotel, but has a great view, and for the right price you can have a great vacation.

It is not a 4 star hotel, the rooms are not cleaned with a sense of responsibility. At the restaurant, very crowded, the plates and glasses were not cleaned well, I would recommend that next to each dish write what it is and what it contains.
The program at the pool is very strict, until 18.00.

Lovely affordable hotel, great beach, one of the best hotel pools. The beach bar bartender was making the best mojitos with love, and was very pleasant..loved it there!

We recently stayed in this hotel, the hotel is ripe for renovation, I would not give more than 3 stars, regularly clean rooms, rooms are medium in size, beds are a bit uncomfortable, bathrooms are not special, terrace is the same, but our terrace was outdoors the units of the climate that has been raging, the staff kindly, the beach is beautiful, the all enxlusive variance is ok, I do not like what they do juices themselves, as from the buns are the juices, the pools are ok, the stomach virus runs frequently, not only at this hotel, the lack of net in the rooms, 10 nights turns out as 7 nights in Turkey, the closest place is 2 km from the hotel, everything is not bad, although for those couples there are even better places, that is what those who were ..

Breakfast satisfying food itself. In the room the old furniture. Without soaps, shampoo in the bathroom. The room smelled.

Food and rooms are just cruel. CHILDREN wanted back after the first day. Staff are very friendly and very helpful! Rooms have to be renovated. It is saved at the wrong end! If you are looking for entertainment should not be here! Children's club is a room .... nothing more! Children paint or play Uno ... I just expect more! Beach is great.

Impolite restaurant management. Distasteful food and monotonous menu. The overall level is way below expectations.

My holiday at Hotel Teoxenia was disappointing. According to my opinion The hitel has only about two stars. The swimming pools and the kitchen are ok, but the rooms- furniture, electronic devices etc are totally old and need to be urgently renovated. The fridge is broken. There are no hair dryers in the rooms- you have to ask for them at the reception and to subscribe a document. The kid center is not working and there is NO animation for the kids. The pools are working only between 10 and 18h. The only positive thing to say is that the hotel staff was very kind and helpful. Do not visit the hotel if you want to sleep at 4* room!

Very nice hotel, staff are very friendly and helpful Room and bathroom were clean and kept tidy by cleaning staff, the food consists of a wide verity buffet, you can almost always find somthing you like (I m very picky) the breakfast is the same Daily.
The pools are salt water and as long as your expecting that they are lovly consisting of 4 Pools 1 of which has access to the bar from within so very usfull for relaxing.
There is a tunnel from the hotel directly to the beach which is amazing and makes avoiding sand very easy overall a very good hotel would highly recommend

The Hotel is old and everything except staff from reception is so horrible.
Rooms are clean but soo old, furniture and bathrooms are old.

They serve old and not tasty food.
Fruits is third clas of quality, the same for other drinks and food.
We pay for all inclusive and we didn't even get espreso from espreso machine. We got it from the wending drinks machine.

If you pay all inclusive you will get everything old, unfresh, reused dishes and jucies made from water, flavores and colors.

For this amount of money and this part of the year it is overpriced and bad.

Good hotel good food good service more for families with children. Salt water pools are great. The Plaza is central and the city is far away for pedestrians.

Nice hotel, 100 meters from the beach, with a large outdoor seawater pool. If you are a lover of underwater beauty, here the sea is perfect for the purpose. You can rent a motorboat for a full day for 40 Euro rent.

All good reviews are fake. Except the sea, everything else is bad. Everything bad that you find in reviews is true. And you can safely multiply by two. Rudeness, arrogant lies, insanely salted food, no fixtures for the shower, bath plug less than a bath, they don t clean, dirty towels and sheets, etc.

We were there for 10 days in early August 2017. Unfortunately we didn't like the hotel that much. The interior of the room is very old, with a part of the ceiling paneling in the bathroom. The room was cleaned every day, but there was hair all over the bathroom floor. The food was sufficient but very one-sided; During the 10 days there was only peaches and watermelon as fruit every day! We were all inclusive; The soft drinks are unfortunately only mixed drinks to be pressed down. After five minutes, the cola only tastes like colored water. The pools are very large and the children's pool is sufficient, but the pool closes at 6 p.m. the lifeguard even whistled 10 minutes earlier. Then everyone who was at the pool hiked to the beach. Internet reception was only available at the reception and that was difficult. A deposit of 10 must be paid for the beach towels, but if you want to exchange them it costs 2 each. What I personally find a cheek for the all inclusive! We were very enthusiastic about the sea and the beautiful, clear and very clean sea water, but we do NOT recommend the hotel.

It is a nerenovated hotel with old furniture and facilities as well. Instead it is clean, ok pool and food the same. For a low budget is worth it. 3 stars only, maximum.

The older pool type hotels are good as well as the staff of small terraces of large dependencies which will make your room even like a terrace. Everything else can go on vacation you do not have to strain on the TV in the room you will not have the chance to see as a wifi for which you will be taking vouchers and you will not have it in the room but it has a restaurant. Relax and enjoy

The four chicks are a bit of a fire
Old furniture is cleanliness tolerant of food tolerable but safety is zero.
All the money left in the room is hundreds of euros, thousands of lei and a mobile phone.
We went to the police for a protocol, but the hotel 's garbage was just shrugging his shoulders for another apology.
The manager could not be achieved after two days.

The location is beautiful. The rooms need renovation. The food is great. The beach and the sea are very beautiful and clean. Highest level hygiene. For the kindness of the staff I have no words clean 5.Only Wi-Fi is very bad.

Concerned authorities need to revoke the stars of this hotel. The place is forgoten in the socialist era. The food provided is barely fit for human consumption, and of lowest quality possible. Please Mr. Managing Director do something to raise your hotel standards to justify the hotel stars.

A beautiful location, the rooms are clean, staff friendly, food very good and diversified. We had a half board reservation but we had the possibility to pay extra for all inclusive - super ok. Personally, I was pleased

I've been to this hotel for four years straight and I love it here. The staff is so nice, the food is grate, there is a fun disco for kids and the people who organise that are so friendly and nice and they are so good with smaller children. The pools are big and VERY clean, the lifeguard at the pool is always prepared and the bartender is great. There is another bar in the hotel and there are free drinks 24/7 for every person staying at the hotel. The beach is awesome, the sun beds are free, the water is very clean and not polluted and the beach is always clean. The WI-FI is okay it could be better and the rooms are small but cosy. DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE GREEK NIGHT THAT HAPPENS EVERY MONDAY. Every Monday night there is a greek night with dancers and very cool acts DON'T MISS OUT ON THE FUN YOU WILL LOVE IT.

Depending on what you expect from this hotel you may know the voodoo but also disappoint. Quite a huge hotel, with lots of rooms, greatly arranged parking lots, but I think that the section with the restaurant should be bigger. Inaku has a mini market, children's playground, a children's park, a games room, a tennis court (part of it is covered with kosh), a mini football court. The best of the pools. Gi has 4. From 0.6m to 3.5m of dlabocin. Enough large, well-equipped cadors and parasols. Bars on the pool, on the beach and in the part with the restaurant. Negativity (large) is the Internet, that is, that it does not exist. Very poor and slow internet, and only in close proximity to the reception desk. Hygiene is not at the highest level but it's not scary . If you are "involved" then you do not have to have money for anything, proper junk, drinking, and sweet and salt, coffee, beer, juices and homemade alcoholic beverages in each of the bars throughout the day.
