The Foundation lost its primary purpose as a photography museum and a cultural exhibition hall. The Salomon Hotel in Rotschild still houses the Maison des Artistes. The private group GL Events bought the premises on a long-term lease from the City of Paris on a private and commercial basis in order to operate prestigious events.

I went to the Rothschield hotel to see an exhibition in contributions to the Japonism festival that still take place in Paris. Beautiful to see and the hotel brought a spendid contrast between the modern japanese arts and the architecture and design of the French traditional Parisian style.

This high place of worldliness organizes sumptuous receptions, the magical setting makes parties unforgettable.
The small private garden in the back of the building is very well maintained.
It is possible to rent this building to make all kinds of reception but it remains very accessible for the budget.

An evening that promised magic with a place so sublime but unfortunately it was totally disappointing. Too much waiting !!! Nearly 1 hour to drink, scramble on scramble impossible to dance properly too loud people clog their ears. Very bad organization 55 for his !!! Never again !!!! What a 31 ... my god! How to spoil New Years Eve for an evening that promised to be festive! A deplorable organization from the start with 1 hour of waiting (even with pre-sale) to return because I quote "you come back only if people go out".

We return as best we could by playing our elbows and yelling ... good atmosphere! Haha this was just the start. A little less than 1 hour wait for the cloakroom and 1:30 hour wait at the bar (the one above) where three poor waitresses are completely overwhelmed by the number of guests (overbooking? Totally).

Arrival at 00:20 start of the festivities after 3h ... unfortunately the good music and the setting will not change the bitter taste that we have in the mouth.
