Unexplained the grandeur and spectacle of this landscape. The red rocks in contrast to a deep blue sea, really beautiful.

The red rocks are the most beautiful monument of Arbatax but the municipality does not bother to enhance them. The square has never been repaired. A few years ago there was talk of an enhancement project but the years go by and the square is getting uglier. Too bad because tourists stop to see the beautiful red porphyry rocks but then they also see the dirt and mess that don't make the place beautiful. Nearby there is also the construction of what must have been the maritime station of Arbatax. Structure never completed and left to total degradation. Too bad because as a child I always took a bath there, the water is splendid.

Well, it can be seen. But you don't necessarily have to. The pass from orosei to arbatax was awesome and should be seen.

Stunning landscape of the red rocks of Arbatax in front of the gulf, among blue waters of the wonderful sardinian sea. On windy days it is great to see the waves explode on the rocks forming nice games of light and breezes that refresh visitors :)

You can visit, but you don't have to. Unfortunately, the place only offers the red rocks as a sight.

The title of the place should be changed as it is not a beach. The place itself is suggestive with a rocky coastal system that slopes down to the famous Red Rocks. The square as it appears is not an excellent business card. Bumpy dirt road and most of the time, especially in the middle of summer, a destination for campers who stop illegally. With a little more attention and controls and the enhancement of the place would become the flower of Arbatax eyewear as it is the "Ogliastra door" for those arriving by ferry.

You expect a lot and you realize that it is all there, collected, contained, but splendid in its grandeur. The geological peculiarities that emerge here and there are to be discovered, as if to capture the attention of the hasty and superficial visitor.
