Hotel restaurant de Buizerd/Restaurant de Rijd Review

Good hotel only had the misfortune of having a burenday party. Much noise until about 2 o'clock at night. Then slept well.

Spent a weekend away with friends and slept in Hotel de Buizerd.
We enjoyed!
Really laughed with Dennis!
The rooms were on the small side but everything you needed was there.
Good food in the restaurant.
The packed lunch that we received was very well stocked.
We will definitely come back !!

Cozy atmosphere and friendly welcome. We went to eat here with a social deal. You can then choose from meat, fish or vegetarian. We were not told further what you got with which choice. The food was tasty but not special.

Quiet and tranquil place away from the crowd. There is a terrace at the front and one in the back so depending on the weather one can choose between looking at the boats passing by, or having a more quiet conversation at the back of the restaurant.

We ordered pancakes and a clubsandwich which were to our satisfaction and decently priced. Waitress did not had her day so to speak, but everything was arranged and sorted in a most friendly matter.

If passing by, we will visit again.

Well located small hotel, a terrace right on the canal, the other terrace at the back with evening sun.
The kitchen surprised us very positively.
Unfortunately, the breakfast leaves something to be desired. The first morning there were no eggs (there was no gas!). The cup was not washed clean ...

Location is great. Operation left much to be desired unfortunately. The coffee cups were dirty, no sugar, spoon or cookie with the cappuccino and the checkout was a bit stiff (slow)

Delicious eaten, generous portions of beautiful pieces of meat, the vegetables were still deliciously crunchy. Unfortunately, the double espresso was too large and too weak, the wine collection at that time not yet worked out (due to new owner) but the house wine was delicious.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch board. Tasty and well cared for.

Well received after entering and all our questions were answered correctly. The rooms look hygienic and neat, it is also very easy that there are 1 person rooms. Later at the bar we understood that the hotel had changed owners and that it was a disaster before. This new owner has done very well and has managed to renovate the hotel very nicely. The bar remained open until very late which is also a big plus.

Room was small but adequate. Restaurant staff was very friendly and spoke English. The buffet breakfast was included for me, and it was good. Train to Amsterdam was convenient from the hotel. I enjoyed my stay.

After a ride on the motorcycle, relax with a refreshment on the terrace by the water.

Nice location but chaotic helped. Long before you get help and long wait before you get your food.
Heten was not much and had a moderate taste.

A cozy restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and attention to the guests.
The conversation with the host lady was also a nice side effect.
And it was really grandiose and tasty.

It is not van der valk but the beds and the food is better than the average hotel in North Holland. Service is good. Breakfast some skimmers.

Top location also for wheelchair users and good service.

To summarize briefly, a very nice place in a nice location and close to the N242.

Everything nice and fresh changed, don't forget to try the guinea fowl, arugula soup

Place itself, there is little to do. Environment is quiet and unique for cycling. Hotel is neat and clean. Staff is friendly
Food is quite good. Rooms are very small

Today I had coffee on the renewed terrace on the water, pleasant service and had a nice cup of coffee. I think you can sit comfortably under the umbrellas on a nice day. The lock is close by and you can enjoy people who can or cannot sail ... occasionally hilarious. Quite a prime location!

Good breakfast ... are 3 nights here .... after the first day ... bathroom not cleaned ... have considered the entire cleanliness ..... Door to the bathroom and clothes door cabinet smeared and sprinkled with stains ... Shower without haze extraction system ... therefore storage already swollen by moisture .... 2 times dinner not bad !!!!!!

Deliciously spoiled by Bas because we celebrated 12.5 years of wedding day there. Surprise dinner had super good cook. Really a rader before everyone at hotel the buzzard

Rooms are very small but clean, the restaurant is way overpriced but the staff is friendly, it would have been fair spend half of what we payed (for both room and dinner).

High tea done ... was gone in 45 minutes. Was no interest from the staff, cutlery was falling apart and high tea sucked. Chocolate had turned white Got an apple wedge cheesecake wedge 6 bread wedges and very mediocre fruit. No small snacks or petit fours. I asked myself if it was ready and no one said hello or asked how it had been. Never again for us !!

Not everything on the menu is present, the wait staff (the boy) really can't do anything about it and the door is open while it's cold outside. When people there started smoking, I closed the door myself.

Substandard in terms of presentation just a 4 tje that can blow away and too little for too much money.

A reasonably good 3 star hotel which has no air conditioning in the rooms, so in warm weather unfortunately not recommended.

We have taken a luchboard and enjoyed it very much, good service and a nice atmosphere

Food was delicious and service super, minus the dessert they had forgotten. But they also solved that nicely. So actually no negative point
