Hotel Marina Palace Review

There are great rooms and there are bad rooms in this hotel ... partial renovation... I got a bad room ... flip a coin.

I've been dining at the 2nd floor restaurant. Everything was great. Food, service, view.

Great location. In front of one of the most beautiful and famous beaches in the world.
Excellent accommodation with care and rewui te.

Close to the beach, safe, good standard, good breakfast

Old room, the drain in the bathroom floor did not have any cover so the maid put the garbage bucket over the hole in the floor :-) the reception are a smelled like propane or gas of some kind, when notified to the staff on duty they said they already knew.....

Customer service team scores one thousand. On the second day all the staff already know your name, your preferences, breakfast with many options of bread, yogurt juices. Some rooms need renovation but as soon as you make a reservation contact the manager mrs. Juliana Pimentel, much prompts, will put you in one of the newer rooms. There is beach service at the tent in front of the hotel. Fantastic view. I recommend. Highlight also for the service and food of the hotel restaurant congratulations to all staff!

It has everything a hotel needs to have, cleanliness, silence, great bed, good shower, location and a great breakfast. I was staying this past weekend and I really enjoyed it, the only thing left to be desired is the European style in the bathroom which contains a bathtub in the shower stall, old but that is excellent

Be careful, there are very old rooms where people who are six inches tall have to bathe on their knees because of the height of the shower.

Old hotel, very good size room, very good bed, excellent shower. You need more care with shower curtain and basic maintenance for furniture not to look bad. Very kind staff. Very good location.

This hotel needs a complete renovation. I drank the water from the lobby and instantly got sick. The rooms are unsanitary looking, my room was missing a hairdryer. The rooms are not worth what they are charging. On the positive side; great location, views. But not worth the room rate.

Near the beach, some markets, American shops, quite safe area. The break fast is very good.

Went there for drinks and lunch at the second floor restaurant. Really friendly staff, nice food at a reasonable price, incredible view. Recommended for a different program for locals or even someone who's staying at a different hotel.

I have stayed in this hotel for two weeks. It's a good hotel but bit expensive though. Located in Leblon..one of the safest places. Breakfast is good. This hotel has best WiFi I have ever used. Rooms are not sound proof. That's a bit of problem. My room air-conditioner made some noise. I have faced some language problem here. Because of that there is some misunderstanding and I had to check out one day before my actual check out day. Apart from these problems.. It's a good hotel to stay.

Positives: Good breakfast and good towels. The rest is bad, old rooms, sauna was cold and had no dryer, all were on loan.

The only thing good about this hotel is the location, close to a nice place of Leblon Beach and walking distance bars and restaurants. This is an old hotel and even the renewed apartments are not good. They put us in a room where the air conditioner seemed like a train engine as it was sooo noisy. Waiting line for breakfast. It was fast but I never experienced something like that.
