A very French hotel, type Residence with apartments lined in wood

The worst hotel i ve ever visted, everything was bad, not clean, smells disgusting and really old! The only postive thing about it is the balcony view and it s location. Otherwise, it s gonna be a nightmare trust me.

Good location, very cosy appartement. Only the bed is not great. (The only bed there is, is a sofa bed that is very hard and you don't sleep next to eachother because of the hightdifference...) But the view compensates alot.

Friendly and welcoming staff, ideally located for the unlimited festival. The apartments are spacious and clean, the breakfast offers good value for money.

Very pleasant hike despite the threatening weather. Obliged to turn back because the path was obstructed by a flow of snow and a pile of trees.

Good apartment, but furniture .. Kitchen is fully equipped with all kinds of famous coffee machines .. Spacious lounge and beautiful balcony overlooking the mountains .. I recommend the upper floors only

Great location with a spectacular view of Chamonix town and Aiguille du midi. Did not have to use the car at all. They would benefit by adding a concierge service. The front desk was not very welcoming nor helpful. This is more a condo appartment than an hotel.

Very enjoyable week's stay! Clean well appointed apartment with little attention for our baby! Very nice view at the foot of the slopes and five minutes from the city center

The place is perfect if you want to rent a studio or apartment to make you feel at home. The furniture is wooden and there is more than enough for all luggage, the kitchen is well-equipped, the bathroom, the toilet very pleasant. The hotel is not far from L'aiguille de Midi cable car, 5 minutes by car. Part of the hotel has spectacular views of the mountains.

We have stayed in Les Balcons du Savoy more than 10 times, over the years. The fact that we keep coming back says it all. The view, location, service and parking are very good. See pictures from our balcon on our last stay. However it has some points that should be improved. I do not recommend the studio apartments. Even for 2, take the 2 room apartment. Mattresses are not really good quality. Some of the furniture and kitchen gear are old and beaten. If your car is very high or wide you may find it difficult to enter your parking. Maintenance is not best. We will probably return.

Excellent residence. Good breakfast optional. Italian maid. A slice of turin in the land of France.

Great location for skiing, large rooms, helpful staff

I liked the Suite 601 two-room suite on the 6th floor (the ceiling is higher and there are only 2 rooms on the floor). The stop is close. The yoke is nearby.

An old hotel. Creaky and neglected furniture. No restaurant or bar. Incompetent reception staff.

Very well positioned in Chamonix. Not sure how often you can actually ski back to the hotel. Our guide said the black run back to Chamonix isn't often open.

Well designed apartments. Exceptional view and easy access to the city center. Very well.

Hotel changing reservation criteria from one year to another for the same periods. Can not book for one night two months in advance.
