Hotel Leonardo da Vinci Review

Unfortunately we booked a stay in this "4 star" hotel, enticed by the photos published on the site and by the description of the services. The hotel looks like a 4-star, but it's not worth even one: old-fashioned rooms with an impractical bathroom, dirty rooms and dining room (we had lunch and dinner with the usual two spiders attached to the wall, as well as with the baby carrot thrown in earth from my baby the night before), watered down all-inclusive drinks, coffee and cappuccinos from the worst-of-the-worst machines, alcoholic tarot cards, dirty children's pools, dinner at the "restaurant" like the company canteen, light lunch that offers frozen hamburgers baked goods and french fries (light where?), pitiful animation.

The structure itself has great potential because there are 3 swimming pools (one with a slide), minigolf and several games for children, the beach is very beautiful because it is on the lake shore, but the inconveniences are really too many: the hotel is spread over high ground and the climbs are really tiring - not to mention those who have a stroller -. To reach the beach you have to either cross the provincial road (without pedestrian crossing), or take a goose ride (passing through a small boat dock where the passage is so narrow that the stroller can fall into the water - absurd).

With all the money they ask for the stay (2 nights, two adults and a 10-month-old girl 466), they could start restoring the furniture and think of putting an escalator here and there!

The only thing I found good was the fries. Ah, maybe even the ecological choice of using recycled toilet paper. Point.

Best experience,food is awesome breakfast Lunch dinner you name it you have everything, this is a hotel for mainly german people and polish people.
The beach of the hotel it is over the road but if you pay all.inclusive they have a bar during the summer where you can order everything you want no limit.

It would be desirable that the table staff be better organized and not clear away and immediately afterwards uncover new cutlery and dishes without washing their hands. Otherwise very good.

We had high expectations due to the pictures but they were not fulfilled.
Was more like mass tourism. Very noisy.
Unfortunately not my idea of a good hotel.

At the time of booking they should inform that the use of the indoor swimming pool, sauna and gym are not accessible, room with ants, 4-star menu you cannot offer pasta with pesto pasta with tomato and white pasta, very prepared for customers German, but I remember that we are in Italy

Nice hotel just a pity you have to shower in a bath with a shower curtain.

Very good hotel. Are currently on site. For the 5th time. The absolute highlight is Fausto. This guy sings from opera to rock. Legendary are the guitar solos and the saxophone.

Nice view of the lake good food. Nice personel. Rooms are functional.

The rooms are quite clean and the hotel is beautifully located directly on the lake slope.
Most of the staff is quite friendly.

Cons:
The food is just bad (cheap mass-produced goods, hospital standard at best - the coffee machine at breakfast is the worst I've ever drunk).

The rooms are completely old and it feels like no euro has been invested since the 90s.

Despite the very steep slope, no effort was made to help with the luggage at check-in.

The hotel is designed in every respect for the clientele of German pensioners with a desire for cheap all inclusive holidays.

It is lived by the substance and tries to generate maximum profit from the outdated plant.

Older hotel, unfortunately worn. Were there until the last opening day. The night before, everything was dismantled at the bar. For that one would have to leave until the departure of the guests time. The staff was not very motivated.

We were attracted by the location and the unbeatable price for all inclusive. Better to spend more money on something else. The rooms are far too noisy and in urgent need of renovation. Worn-out and worn-out furniture unfortunately takes away your well-being. The hotel complex has potential, but is also getting on in years.

The food is so-so. At breakfast the ham pulled strings and tasted sour and the selection of fruit was limited to nectarines and pears with bruises.

The included WLAN only works in the lobby. You have to pay extra for "fast" WLAN.

Here are a maximum of two stars for the hard-working staff and the reasonably good location (if you don't mind the main street right in front of your room). It was clean so far.

Very nice spacious area, great service staff always friendly and very helpful. Meals all day leaves nothing to be desired. Room got old, but very clean. Were completely satisfied and will gladly come again!

Everything was fine, but if you are looking for WiFi u wont be happy here. It pretty much doesnt work at the hotel.

Hotel that does not reflect a 4 star ... Old structure with 50 years old gross rooms.
Also, in this delicate period I have not seen any attention to social distancing, chaos and confusion at the cek-in, during meals, the restaurant looks like a company canteen with long lines of crowded people.
I thought I would find an environment that was careful to enforce the rules for the good of all, but all my expectations were disregarded ...

Very good value for money, all inclusive, access to the private beach, outdoor pool small but ok, a lot of entertainment ... Food varied, adequate, shuttle service to the center unfortunately only until 18.00 clock but in 15 minutes walking distance. We will be back!

We have booked a weekend, we are only on the first day but it is fantastic! From breakfast to dinner, from the pool to the whirlpool, from the spa to the walks. Wonderful view of Lake Garda. The buffet is full of dishes. I have never seen such a rich buffet, various choices of appetizers, first courses, second courses and desserts. Cakes of all kinds and many flavors of ice cream. The all inclusive of this hotel really includes everything. We will return soon and highly recommended to couples, families and the elderly.

Reception staff are very competent

First of all the best; the staff is very friendly (apart from the in-house bus driver)! But this is the last pathetic attempt to somehow save something.
The rooms are so old, bathroom is an impertinence to say the least, everything is extremely noisy, so you know what your neighbor is doing in the bathroom. This also offers a perfect transition to the (partial) clientele of this "hotel" ... since there is all-inclusive here, it probably attracts one or the other (Dutch) party tourist who thinks they have to do Ramba Zamba until 3:30 pm despite the noisy construction . Your own attempts to clear things up, but also the helpless attempts of the overstrained night porter, remained unsuccessful until 3:30 a.m. When you finally fell asleep, you didn't have to worry about oversleeping breakfast; At eight o'clock sharp, the cleaning staff pulled their very loud (I'll just remember the clairaudient construction) vacuum cleaner through the hallway ... All in all a good script for a comedy produced by RTL, but definitely not for the long-awaited vacation! ! Never again, no recommendation!

When we arrived we got an extremely small room in the attic, which was intended for the staff so we had to pay extra so that we could get a decent room.

Very nice owner and nice dedicated staff. The food was good for an all inclusive. The drinks were not so to my taste.

Nice was the waterslide for our daughter. I really liked the lake access. The rooms were ok. We were at Pentecost and it was not too warm and not too cold.

Excellent location with free shuttle to the center of Limone. Structure a little dated only the part of the hall and newly built dining room for eating I expected more.

Hotel dedicated to a purely foreign clientele .. especially on discreet food ..... position for me uncomfortable cleaning nn class

+ The rooms are cleaned every day. + There is a fridge available. + An electric kettle with teas and coffee is also available in the room. + Friendly service. + Great location (20 minute walk into town or using the shuttle bus)
+ Large selection at breakfast and dinner (price is okay)

- Personally, I did not find the beds comfortable and did not sleep well

Had actually booked the Hotel San Pietro. But got a message shortly before arrival that this is closed!
This hotel is NOT a comparison (not deserved 4 stars). As a compensation we got a superior room, the best room in this hotel, with all inclusive (room is much smaller than in the Hotel San Pietro). In our eyes this is no compensation. The rooms are dirty, despite the current situation (Corona) they are not cleaned thoroughly! The rooms are extremely noisy with broken furniture.
Very loud music and animation program several times a day - no chance of relaxation.

It should be mentioned, however, that the staff at the reception is friendly and courteous.

The worst 4 star hotel we have ever been. Photos do not match reality at all. Staff are terribly unfriendly in many cases. It is a dilapidated complex in a beautiful location. Never ever go here.

Structure that reveals its age, therefore to be restored in some of its parts and adapted to new needs, especially in the areas dedicated to accommodation (rooms and apartments). The service, on the other hand, is of a good standard and in line with its category.

Good meals, nice staff, renovated and very nice entrance and dining room. Unfortunately the rooms need to be renovated. Perhaps it would be enough even to change the beds to immediately have an extra touch. Beautiful view!

Friendly staff, very tasty and extensive food both for breakfast and for dinner. I can't judge lunch because we didn't make use of it despite all-inclusive. Our room was not nice (3 bed room standard) because it was very old and very cramped. However, the beds were extremely comfortable and since I don't spend my vacation in the room, it was bearable with air conditioning.
The hotel is on a slope and you have to climb many stairs or steep paths to get to the pools, playgrounds or parking lots. The two upper pools with slide have a wonderful view over Lake Garda. There are loungers with umbrellas and the playground right next door. In contrast to the large pool below, the drinks counter was unfortunately closed. A bit awkward for parents with children, this should be improved. Otherwise we had a great vacation and felt comfortable.
The all-inclusive service is very extensive, especially when it comes to drinks, and I can't understand why some people complain here.

We had a very nice vacation there. The staff were very nice and very helpful to us. The food was excellent and always plentiful. We can highly recommend this hotel and we will be back.

Very good food and always available hot and cold drinks, ice cream and biscuits. The only flaw is the dated and not very clean rooms. Shuttle bus service to Limone center every 15/30 minutes until 7.15 pm.
Overall a very good stay!

All inclusive hotel probably apartments with garden or balcony. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Parking free . Front of garda lake view is the main point of the hotel. Food all times hot and fresh. Beds and rooms quality need to develop more. No fresh fruit juice very disappointed. Staff's helpful and friendly. For the family with kids you have lot of options. If the weather conditions are good . Nice place for relax with family. Free bus service to go to town all day. 5 to 6 alcohol free to drink anytime specially beers and wine .

The hotel is not a 4 star hotel, but resembles a dorm. It is very old, the rooms are dirty and the bathroom was very small. We booked all-inclusive. However, there was no real lunch, but at the bar on the lake either fries or non-cook noodles. At breakfast we discovered mold on the jam and at dinner all the food was cold. The staff was very rude and in a bad mood. We were very disappointed and happy as soon as we left.

We don't like the current structure anymore. We hope that it will be nicer again next year.
Unfortunately, food was totally uncomfortable due to Corona. Now you actually get a cafeteria feeling.
At the "buffet" you can decide for yourself, but everything is allocated. That takes away the fun of trying.
Unfortunately, the selection has also become smaller than we are used to.
Location and place still beautiful. Nevertheless, due to the situation, you have to come to terms with the fact that the feeling of wellbeing is no longer as usual.
On the beach you are reminded several times to keep your distance, the umbrellas were limited, which is a disadvantage for those who do not belong to the typical beach chair reservations
It's no fun like that, but the lake and the location make up for the situation.
Unfortunately, under these circumstances, it is no longer the popular destination for us.
Rooms could now be rejuvenated on the bed and couch.

I rate the hotel as average (because it is old) swimming pools okay, close to the lake great beach - free bus from the hotel to the center views great from every side, meals could be better, not just tasteless and cool, delicious desserts. Nice service :)

Unfortunately not very clean rooms, especially the bathroom. The equipment of the rooms is unfortunately a bit outdated and partly broken. The food was pretty good but I have to say

Somewhat older hotel. No atmosphere. Terrible seats sofas in the reception area. Totally sat. The so-called bar area uncomfortable, loud and drafty. Zero charm. .The dining room resembles a large canteen. Very loud tourists of all nationalities, many can not behave. Many children. They run loud through the hall. Absolutely NO recommendation. Pity about the travel price. Only the staff very friendly.

If you are looking for recreation and relaxation, this is unfortunately wrong! Supposedly this hotel should have 4 stars. This is by no means understandable. Three stars are almost too much, which is a pity, since the prices are outrageously high. Every night loud, annoying music is played to entertain the people. It is almost unbearable, if you long for peace. Especially if the music is running until 10pm. The decor is also very old and reminds of the 80s. At least there is air conditioning, which can be adjusted individually. The food can be consumed. Of 4 star quality but hardly anything to feel. Nothing special at all and there is a total unrest in the dining room (restaurant you can not call that). There are pools outside and inside, but there is unfortunately a lot of rush, too bad! It is also strange that with large boxes, the bathers are also sonicated with music ... No relaxation possible! The hotel's own beach is only accessible via a main road, without zebra crossing quite dangerous. It is possible through all inclusive to drink wine, beer and even liquor from 10 in the morning - as much as you want. I think everything is clear now. Generally, there is a mass processing and the term 'bed castle' I actually did not want to initially in the mouth. Maybe recommended for people with many children who do not mind the noise, but for me that's nothing. Due to the above reasons, it is not recommended to stay at Leonardo da Vinci.

Eating is anything but relaxation. There are masses in a very tightly seated dining room. Different salads, however, as main courses mainly french fries and pasta with tomato sauce.

In the future we will prefer to choose a lovingly run hotel on Lake Garda for a few euros more. No recommendation

This hotel is a large complex with several buildings built against the mountain. Has 2 swimming pools and an indoor pool with Jacuzzi sauna Turkish bath and gym. We went there in the second week of October and that was the last week they were open.
The buffet is simple but plenty of choice. It was strange that in a 4 star hotel not all service was properly dressed. (Jogging pants and sweater). The hotel has an all inclusive formula.
