"La Darsena" is a dream place. Everything is made to make your stay at the restaurant or the hotel memorable, and the experience will enhance all your senses!!
First, they are ideally placed. Their windows open right on the lake, nothing is between you and the landscape. You feel like a bird flying over the lake towards the mountains. It is also so quiet that it is an ideal place to relax and forget about all the turmoil of life.
Second, the food is HEAVEN! The chef Marcello Molli is incredible! He creates the most wonderful plates, they are all very researched, made from the heart and never pretentious. The sight, the smell and the taste of them will make you melt.
Third, the rooms are all done with great care, the bedding is so comfortable you will only want to get out of bed to go on your balcony to enjoy more of the view or to get down for the amazing breakfast buffet!
Last but not least, Giuliano, Marcello, Ezio e Maria Molli are the best hosts one could ever wish for.
They are caring, warm and attentive to each detail in order to make you feel at ease and enjoy your special time at their "Darsena". They are the most beautiful souls!
We loved them and their place so much, we chose to get married there and thanks to them, our wedding was the most magical it could have been.

From the minute you arrive, they will take care of you as if you are part of their family and will make you feel like the most special guest ever. They love their jobs so much and do everything with passion and put all their hearts into anything they do.

It has been an incredible experience for us that I wish everybody could live. I could not recommend this place enough,whether it is for one evening at the restaurant, few nights at their hotel or even more!

This lovely place is fantastic. Situated right near the boat ferry with easy access to Bellagio and Varenna. It s a family owned business and the staff is very welcoming and accommodating. They will make you feel at home and help you with whatever you need. We had dinner here the first night of our stay on Lake Como and was pleasantly surprised. The buffet breakfast in the morning was also a welcomed treat. Again, a beautiful setting and very nice accommodations. Our room was on the street side with a view of the lake. Very comfortable and quiet considering the road was so close. For the price, it s well worth a stay. We ll be the first to stay here again in the future when we come back to Lake Como!

Just visited for the restaurant here. It has amazing charm and a very romantic vibe to it. Of course few options in vegetarian, I think we had Asparagus with egg at 66 deg and the Mint and artichokes rissoto. Loved both of them. Pics attached.

It is an amazing location. If I can rate more that five stars, I would. The localization is so unique. The view is absolutely beautiful. Make sure to have a room with balcony and lake view. Cannot wait to have romantic dinner water front with my wife.

Excellent food! Impeccable service. The amberjack with curry was delicious. The skin was flavorful and the veggies were done perfectly. It's a rare thing when even the vegetables are a highlight. Our whole party raved about the medley on their entree. The lamb with mint jelly and potatoes was very tasty and so was the sirloin with black garlic. The beetroot gnocchi with scallops was also great.

For dessert, the caramelized peaches with almond milk foam and frozen raspberries was delicious in varied temperatures, textures and visual appeal.

Gorgeous setting and not too loud.

If you are looking for massive portions, this isn't your place. If you are looking for thoughtful, tasteful murals of flavor, this restaurant delivers.

Restaurant: the dining room has an amazing view over the Lake Como (and Bellagio and the other side).
Menu is really interesting, with sophisticated dishes involving local lake fish.
Service is kind and discrete.
In the mild season there's a very bohemian outdoor garden.

Great dining experience at Como Lake. Food, interiors, lake view. if you don't find a parking slot near the restaurant, look around and you will see the beautiful gates to a big parking nearby

Stayed here back in July. It was so wonderful! The concierge were so attentive and made sure we were always taken care of. Having breakfast on their balcony was absolutely breathtaking! Their croissants and cappuccinos were decadent, I would come back solely for those two. I highly recommend making reservations at their restaurant for dinner (even if you don t stay here) their food was delicious! Their location is very central (there s a park right next door).

My only complaint was that it would tend to get very hot at night (it was July so in general it was hot). They did have AC but it was not that great. We still managed with opening up the window at night for a breeze. Their beds are a bit uncomfortable but expecting with most hotels.

Good food, excellent service, fantastic view of the lake and exclusive setting. Relatively pricey but it reflects on the quality.

Very good food, really tasty. Imaginative with great ingredients. Attentive staff. Buckwheat pasta with mushrooms sooo tasty. Meats very tender.
