Although gourmet stay in the most beautiful surroundings. The staff are really professional and you really feel at the center in a relaxing way. My best recommendations.

Nice nice place. Delicious food and lovely retro surroundings. However, they are at the expensive end - therefore "only" 4 stars.

We had a nice room with roof terrace and sea view, nice decor with designer furniture. The detergent used made the room smell incredibly bad, unfortunate !.
Good bed, shampoo, conditioner, cream and bathrobe etc.
The hotel as such then has a few small things that need to be maintained, such as. the carpet on the tennis court. The courtesy of the external masseurs, who should not constantly silence the other guests, in a zone that is not a quiet zone.
Definitely a hotel that is their 4 stars each!

Very elegant hotel with a beautiful view of the Great Belt and the Great Belt Bridge.

Nice and clean and good beds, really good food, super views. But eventually it also feels a little worn. The bathrooms, the showers need an upgrade. Slightly strange way the light works in the rooms.

Was only in the restaurant, but the food - fried turbot with side dishes and ribeye with side dishes and strawberry sorbet for dessert - tasted absolutely excellent. The service was friendly and the dishes were served with appropriate temporal distance just like the wine. A good experience.

One of Denmark's best hotels. Location, location, super service and food

Food is excellent, light and tasteful. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a pool, and only a few meters away from the ocean, and a Forrest.

Beach facing rooms. Spacious clean rooms and a quality breakfast. Has a sauna and swimming pool.

As such a good experience but carries the appearance of being a bit worn out and a restaurant that wants a little more than it can execute

Stunning, near the sea, beautiful sunrises. Among the better ones on this side the island.

Super cozy and very welcoming staff. Massage is definitely recommended here. The food was really delicious and formidable. The breakfast was sumptuous.

Pros: located wonderfully beautiful right by the sea, sweet people in the reception, large rooms (m tub!), Good trails in the area. Cons: a little old-fashioned look, unstable wifi, it pulls in and is cold in the winter (sitting with a jacket in the room now), limited selection at the breakfast buffet according to other hotels in the same price range, a little wasted service in the kitchen (they forgot my order), too expensive

Possibly the nicest weekend I have had with my girlfriend for a long time, with the most amazing view from the restaurant, which also makes great food. However, it is quite expensive to eat there.

Was a trip by the Hesselet beach to experience winter baths walking in the water. Got a long nose that was only 4 who went in the Great Belt

Our son and daughter-in-law have just held a wedding at Hotel Hesselet. It was a lovely wedding with super delicious food, lovely surroundings and friendly staff. Everything went as it should. We took an extra night and we certainly did not regret it. A cozy place.

I strongly recommend to stay here, beautiful, exclusive, excellent in everyday.

Great room with sea views, good food, but lacking an important thing for breakfast: Espresso machine in the dining room. Only black funnel coffee is served here, and one must order a special, and it takes winter and spring .....

Great dining, great surroundings of nature and ocean. Waiters seem a bit stressed.

Was at the restaurant and got an exquisitely delicious 3 course menu with accompanying wine menu.

A booked event for us came completely behind the staff. Poor logistics and the agreed service should be moved. One felt the staff was afterwards all the time. Quality of food and location at the very top.

Had lunch at Hesselet Hotel - the fish filet on rye was really great the eggs and prawns on rye was ok but nothing I would order again. The champagne (Rothschild) served by the glass wasn t worth the money.

Had the most amazing gourmet experience at the Tranquebar restaurant yesterday with a 3-course gourmet menu - excellent waiter service which recommended a Spanish red wine on the Grenache grape I have never tasted better!

Meeting room just minutes from scenic walk from Nyborg Station. Quick access to the freeway. Stylish lobby and nice meeting room (library) a little warm and very friendly staff.

The relaxation and class throughout. Top kitchen and super staff. Even the boss has time to greet.

Nothing less than unique. The food was phenomenal, enjoyed with the view of the Great Belt. That is incredibly good for the money. It is not cheap, but given what you get served and in what surroundings, it is not expensive. Gourmet at decent prices ... Thank you for a wonderful evening

The location and rooms are beautiful, atmospheric and grandmotherly styled .... You get a bit of Maersk feeling and old Danish furniture designers and architects. The food is ok (only got lunch plate).

When they actively advertise aimed at Copenhageners in a pandemic where Copenhageners have been strongly urged NOT to go out to eat ...

THIS HOTEL IS NOT 4**** - IT IS LESS THAN A HOSTEL.
The staff however is frienly, the view from our room was GREAT (the store belt bridge!) and the breakfast was superb. But the room did not impress me. Shabby, old, damaged and the bathroom area was not clean. I had to remove hair from the shower drain myself. They just said 'sorry'....
Note: I paid 1120 DKK = 150 euro per night!

Dinner was a pure gourmet experience. Both the starter and main course were nicely presented and tasted enchanting.
The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious with homemade muffins, cold cuts, salmon tartare and extremely tasty. Everything was really good.

Fantastic lovely surroundings with forest and beach right outside the door. The rooms are large and delicious - the service is top notch at the hotel (reception, restaurant, bar, etc.). Finally, Hesselet has an excellent kitchen guided by safe hand by Lasse Paulsen, so just for the food the hotel is worth a visit.

Super friendly staff, super dining experience - thanks for a wonderful and wonderful stay.

I was there one in connection with a conference. The rooms are fine and the food is phenomenal.

The hotel is right down to the beach and the view is really nice.
