Horrible stay here. Rooms are badly kept, shower and amenities not good, heater doesn't work, concierge is absolutely not helpful at all, breakfast was a joke, most outlets not working. One star for this hotel is a star too many.

i stayed in grandstar ohtel for 3 nights and i enjoyed it so much. the staff was so helpful and the hotel was very clean. i will stay again for sure.

If you would like to stay in a proper hotel and feel safe ... then PLEASE DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. I was unfortunate enough to have a reservation at this hotel January 1st - 16th of 2013 on business.
I had to cut my stay short as my DSLR camera was stolen directly from my room one day after check in. I had left it in the safe and came back to find it open and camera missing. I immediately spoke with the manager, who was not helpful at all and quite rude, about viewing security footage. We both saw that the only person to go in the room was the cleaner... only one man in the hotel. It became clear to us that it was this man who stole the camera as:
a. he was the only one to go into the room the whole day via security footage and
b. the only one with access to the rooms during the day.
The management brought the man in and asked him in Turkish if he had stolen the camera and he said no, looking scared and at the floor the whole time. When I started to question the man, he would not look at me and shortly after, I was being yelled at by the management to stop accusing this man as he had been with the hotel for many years and considered family. Excuse me?? I DO NOT CARE! YOUR CLEANER obviously stole my camera!! This only shows the lack of respect for the customers staying there.
This is ABSOLUTELY UNFAIR, DISRESPECTFUL and my experience was completely HORRIBLE. The hotel refused to pay and refused to cooperate to help retrieve my expensive DSLR camera. We decided not to call the police as it would be too much of an ordeal and I was busy with a training, scheduled to travel shortly after. The only option I had was to leave comments in hopes of alerting other travelers to NOT STAY AT THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!
On top of being rude, unorganized and clear liars, the hotel is dirty, cold, with construction, noise and a horrible smell.
How do you think it feels when the hotel you trust violates that trust by going through your things when you are not there. AND, they are able to get away with it? Think about it.

The location of the hotel is really good. But this is not a hotel you enjoy. That is the poorest hotel I have ever spent time in... The receptionists are not friendly, there is not a safe place in there to keep your luggage before check-in or check-out. The swimming pool is the only eye catching amenity but it was closed with no reason. I could have booked other nearby hotels with lower prices if I had known swimming pool is just a trick. Breakfast was good for birds. There wasnt even a kettle in the room to boil water. The worst scenario case was room cleaning. In the 4th night of our stay and after coming back to our room we faced a crazy room there was no towel no sheet and no one made the bed. Just they made a mess!!!!! Soooo wonderful ha!!!!??? So if you want to enjoy your trip, book another hotel.
Good room with good price, rich breakfast menu. But I could not use wifi on my mobile phone from room 3505. On my first visit room was nice but on my second visit covers were dirty and room was very cold.

Reception workers can speek up to 3 languages including English, French and local language which is Turkish off course.

If I could give less than 1 I would. The service is terrible, place is smelly and really dirty. Breakfast is very poor. The bed is uncomfortable. I'm not hard to please but believe me this place is worth complaining about. I even found a closed condom behind the curtain. I told reception and they were very casual like it's no big deal. Only positive is the location.

It's a really bad hotel the evening gentleman at reception is so nice.. But the two ladies in the morning are Soo Soo rude the one with the eye glasses was complaining every time I ask for anything and she even charged me 5 TL when I asked for a copie of passports and the lady with colored hair was rude two specialy at the checking out time they thought I don't understand turkish but she literally said : " oooofff what the hell does this woman wants in the morniiing " it's so rude I didn't like that
Hotel frankly not nice. Staff incompetent, breakfast very average, orange juice fee. Regarding our access to the spa, he asked us to buy bathing caps at 10 each. Great location and views are about the only things this place has going for it. But be aware not all sea view rooms have balcony. It's run down and tired. Can't believe it is a 4 star hotel. Wouldn't stay here again.
