The drinks at Altabira are lovely, and the patio is beautiful.
Great rooms, service and overall accommodations. I would stay here again.
Wonderful staff, amazing beds, nice view and awesome shower. Parking is $35 a night, and the driveway up into the hotel is AWFUL. Bottomed out my car each time I came and left. Lowered cars, please be warned! Had a few cocktails at the bar, overall a wonderful stay.
Room was very clean and staff where incredibly friendly and helpful. Jeff was a breath of fresh air to get information from and super knowledgeable. They had a bottle of wine in our room for us when we arrived and upgraded our room for our needed staycation. I will definitely be staying here again and recommending to others. Thank you.
This is an outstanding hotel. The rooms are modern secure (key card elevator) and very chic. The bed was so comfortable. That as soon as my head hit the pillow, out like a light. They have a lot of refreshments in the room. Would only purchase those if absolutely necessary.
If, you are ever in Portland. This is the hotel to be at!
Great place to stay!!! Staff was very helpful and the room was very nice and modern. For sure will stay again!!!
We felt the staff was very hospital and friendly. The room was lovely with nice design elements. However the care in which the staff showed careful attention to Covid-19 protocols was impressive. From taking guest's temperatures to wiping down the elevator buttons inside and out prior to our use.
Beautiful view with good service. Reasonable happy hour prices and the food was alright.
Great staff, looks great inside. Would definitely go back!
Great experience! Fantastic rooms! Good view of the convention center. Loved the valet parking!
Exceptional customer service. I came to town with little time to plan and with a crushing agenda. They recognized me by name, had set a room aside for me ahead of my arrival, and did everything in their power to make my stay as unstressful as possible. Everyone from the front desk to room service went out of their way to provide excellent service. I highly recommend this hotel. The room was clean and decorated in a modern style. It's conveniently located next to the train stop.
I wouldn't waste your money. The modern design was appealing when we booked, but the service and amenities are below average.
We booked a Jr Suite so we could enjoy they view of downtown (as advertised). We only made one special request that alcohol not be provided, but when we got to our room the only amenity they provided was complimentary champagne.
We were promised a "sweeping views of downtown", but they fail to mention that a large build is currently under contruction that blocks half the view of downtown.
Also if you book a suite plan to be woken up by the noise from the restaurant on the tip floor.
They point out that valet parking is available (at an additional cost) however they fail to mention that it is your only option. There is no self parking option.
We ate a late lunch at the rooftop restaurant. The food was interesting and the service was attentive. The view was marred by some construction cranes, but we don't blame the establishment for this.
We have stayed at this hotel several times now. It has been an exceptional stay every time. The only thing I could even vaguely think to complain about would be with the bags of ice, the cubes are always stuck together and nothing in the room to break them apart. Everything else here is wonderful.Frindly staff clean, nice rooms. Always a pleasure staying here for the conventions we attend at the convention center right across the street.
Very disappointed. There is very good service here. However, there are scandalous pictures of women in every room. This is NOT a family hotel. I will never be staying here again. Our party had three rooms, in every room there were abstract pictures of naked women in sexual positions. It was very awkward. I do not know why the hotel felt the need to decorate their rooms this way. We had to cover up pictures with paper and towels so it would be appropriate for our kids to stay. We are extremely disappointed. I wish there was some kind of warning so we would have known. We were in no way comfortable here.
Nice hotel. Quiet, not too expensive, good customer service. Will definitely stay again.
Clean room, friendly staff, pretty cool rooftop bar and restaurant. Short walk to the convention center for the conference I was in town attending .Really enjoyed my stay here!
Very expensive, very nice rooms, valet parking was mandatory.
I just stayed at Hotel Eadtlund for my second time and I have nothing but good things to say. It's a modern and beautiful hotel with friendly staff and it's perfectly situated for concerts in Portland. Both times I've stayed have been to attend concerts at the Moda Center and Veterans Memorial Coliseum and we've walked both times and then ate at the Denny's that's just across from the hotel's door. The art is beautiful, the beds are very comfortable and the small details like the robes and the card in the bathroom suggesting how to be eco friendly just made me feel so comfortable. I know I'll be back.
Great stay after a Moda center show... Especially with a hotwire deal
Good service at the front desk and most of the workers at a very fresh, new hotel that reminds me of a boutique brand European hotel. I'm not a fan of the fixed-glass shower enclosure in my room that only covered up half the shower. It made it hard to keep water from splashing on the floor. We also ate at the restaurant were the service ended up being mediocre. Our server basically focused mainly on a birthday party table and after a while forgot about us. We waited so long for the bill to the point we had to get up and ask for it a second time. Either they were badly understaffed or our server wasn't good at managing her tables.
Loved my stay! Great location and great service. All staff extremely nice. Everyday at 5pm they have wine tastings at the lobby. Coffee and hot chocolate in the morning. Don't miss walking along the river and have breakfast or a coffee in one of the nice stores close to the hotel. Everything was perfect :) Would definitely recommend!
Nice, updated rooms. Good location. Awesome hallways.
If I could give this place more stars than just 5 I would. Comfortable clean rooms, competitive prices, close to everything. Gorgeous building and friendly staff
Great location just across from the convention center, blocks from the Moda center, and near public transportation. I was only able to enjoy the lobby, restroom, elevator and other areas as I was waiting for my table at the rooftop bar/restaraunt (which is fantastic). However, I was very pleased with the recent, modern updating throughout the building.
Very nice and clean hotel. They change $15 daily for overnight parking. Definitely something to factor into the cost of your stay. It s located in a pretty chill part of Portland
Room was great as well as the service. Only complaint and this is just personal observation but bed was high off ground as in, I'm 5' 10" these and I had to kinda climb in. Can just imagine what a shorter person had to do as well as the couches in the lobby are very very low to the ground. They hit me just above mid calf... I was afraid to sit in them for fear I wouldn't be able to get back up off of them. Otherwise the room was great and loved the restaurant & bar and there are great options food and drinks close by if you don't want to go to the hotel restaurant. If we stay in Portland again for a concert will definitely consider this hotel.
Very nice staff. Clean room. The light rail and street cars are both on the same street. You hear them all night long. Luckily, the hotel provides complimentary ear plugs. They are a necessity.
Fantastic service. Fantastic property. We will come back .
Unexpected elegance! Best option so close to the Convention center. Excellent happy hour in the rooftop restaurant, even on Sunday! The coconut Mussels and Field Greens were delicious. Don't pass up the Pineapple upside down cake!
Well appointed room included robes! and ample coffee pods, firm, comfortable bed. I read the review with "fur linens" and upon entering the room I had to smile. Come see for yourself.
Small room. No microwave. No complimentary breakfast.. cost to much for none of these
Beautiful room, great food on the rooftop and also at the downstairs cafe, and 1 1/2 blocks from the max
Highly recommend Hotel Eastlund! Very efficient, comfortable and there staff was great! Awesome location as well
Everything about this place was fabulous! Room ... food ... staff .... location ....
Loved our room and they have refillable shampoo/conditioner! I love that they don t use those wasteful individual containers! The restaurant/cafe in the main lobby level makes you feel like you re in Europe
I have come to love the restaurant & bar on the roof - Altabira. Great views and a nice drink selection.
Drinks and food on the happy hour menu were amazing
Kind of mid tier hotel. perfectly fine, nothing special.
One of a kind building, plush & upscale in the middle of the city
Excellent restrooms next to the bar. Nice view of max tracks and Lloyd center shopping mall
Great location, right next to the Oregon Convention Center.
Alright lunch at the restaurant on the 6th floor. A bit pricy and the fries weren't very good.
Good food, very good drinks. Great views from rooftop bar.
Had a great stay at Hotel Eastlund. Very cozy and comfortable room, and we enjoyed a great dinner in the Hotel Restaurant.
Nice hotel, great for business. Close to the convention center.
Great place. Roof top restaurant and bar is wonderful.
Modern, clean, and upscale but not pretentious. Eclectic, but not in a weird way. Free WiFi for guests. Ground floor bakery was a good place to hang out and meet up with other people from my group. Roof top restaurant and bar was likewise good. Valet service was fast, friendly and affordable. Good for business travelers and couples, but not kid friendly.
Very nice rooms, spacious lobby. A little noisy and rooms are on the small side.
Great room. Wonderful service. Great price for the quality of the stay.
Chic upscale hotel, but next to street cars that wake you up early in the morning.
This modernist hotel sits right across from key MAX and bus lines, making it a perfect base of operations while exploring Portland's wide-ranging attractions. This is just the most convient feature, but the rooftop resturant (Altabira) can provide plenty of entertainment and a gracious happy hour as well.
A nice large high bed and clean modern design accents in cool colors felt a bit on the small side but wasn't really - the bed tends to dominate the room. A very nice tiled and ceramic shower, glass doors and mirrored walls make the bathroom a comfortable place to spend time after visiting all of Portlands finer seafood joints. I wouldn't fall for the temptations of that mini bar, though, instead stock the tiny fridge with supplies and beer. I managed to stuff a couple bombers in there without breaking anything....
Bar/restaurant on the roof is great! Definitely recommend.
Cool hotel very close to the Oregon Convention Center. The restaurant at this hotel is amazing.
Wonderfyl hotel and restaurant. Pretty pricey overall but a nice once and awhile visit for sure.
Quite a fancy hotel. Brewery upstairs with good food.
Nice place for an event. Nice view from the restaurant area.
Trendy furniture and dope artwork. Love the vibe at this place.
hotel was very nice but i paid for a city view and did not get that room was to pressed for time so we just delt with it had a view of the side of a building under construction :( everything else was good
I was super curious to see his remodel and holy cow! Lovely interior, the meeting rooms are great, the staff is awesome and I could eat their food all day, every day.
Great location, amazing ambiance. The rooms are clean and classy. Service at the bar was a little slower, but still really nice place! I will definitely be staying here again!
Great modern hotel! Love the fact that you have a great place to get breakfast, lunch, or dinner right attached.
We re here for our honeymoon, and the second we walked in the door, we were glad we booked the Eastlund. I am a former Portlander, and we come back to visit yearly. We will be staying here from now on. The hotel common spaces are 100% class, the staff is absolutely wonderful, the rooms are amazing, and the beds are actually insanely comfortable. Don t waste your time anywhere else.
Excellent! Clean, high end, had a great bacon restaurant.
Newly renovated hotel, great staff. Location was less than desirable.
We stayed for 2 nights and the hotel was confortable for us. Valet staff and front desk staffs were nice and helpful. The room was modern, comfy king bed, and modern shower. We enjoyed the robes a lot. The only downside is that if there was an event at the Moda Center, forget about going up to the restaurant after. Seems to be the spot where everyone goes after.... It was impossible for the hotel guests like us to even get seated.
We had a lovely stay. Our room was clean and well appointed (including chargers for every device)! The hotel is within walking distance of the Convention Center and Moda. We enjoyed dinner at Altabria, located on the top floor. Our room was near the MAX railway, so the complementary earplugs were appreciated.
