The event was with plastic chairs, it looked dirty and neglected

I was in an event at the convention center, the bathrooms smelled bad, the cleaning staff cut the water in the middle of the event, because the faucets of the sinks filtered water, it does not have air conditioning in the middle of summer, many things to improve.

Terrible local? It's old, all the ceiling in poor condition. A hellish heat during a conference I attended during the summer. There was no air conditioning. I do not recommend it at all.
