ROMANTIC PACKAGE due to my partner birthday.Overall the hotel was nice, many different gardens, we enjoyed relaxing in the spa center.The customer care however, was disappointing. I bought a package which included 1stay, a romantic dinner,spa,breakfast and late check out 6pm.on arrival, we have been welcomed by a lovely receptionist who has explained that we could pick either the Italian or the oriental restaurant. We decided to go for the Italian (Pappagallo).The room was on point and everything was fine until we arrived to dinner.(Do I need to mention that we are a lesbian couple?)on our arrival, the hostess asked our room number and walked to a table as normal.There wasn t any romantic decoration and we haven t been explained What wasn t included in our dinner. I felt uncomfortable with my partner as it was meant to be a romantic surprise, we Just went ahead with ordering food. The hostess who welcomed us, said that it looked like we were on a special occasion, poorly put some flowers on our table and left. Only after we have already finished our starter, she apologised, said she didn t realise we had a dinner planned which was meant to include more things.The morning after, We go to breakfast and the buffet was nice.The problem of the breakfast was the insisting look of the Maitre directed to my partner, who doesn t get easily affected by this kind of stuff, yet she had to point out this man (in his Late 50s while she s 29) would not stop looking at her coming from behind my sit,he even bumped into someone as he wasn t looking. We leave breakfast and we decide to go for a walk.Back to the hotel, we finally Reach the room which is now not opening, as check out are at 12am while we had a late check out 6pm.We have to go all the way down to speak to the receptionist who apologised and asked about our dinner, that s when the manager of bars came to us, apologise, and offered us a lunch in Palmera restaurant. It obviously cannot replace the romantic night we were looking forward to, but we appreciated it and accepted it. On arrival there was roses on the table and the service was good,We were finally thinking that we could relax and enjoy the last few hours in the hotel before to go back to our residents life in Tenerife, however here he is again, the repulsive Maitre who again, came and stand not far from our table and stared at us for the whole lunch without moving.he could definitely see the disapproval in my face end yet carry on looking (last thing you ask for if you are trying to have some romantic time with your partner).Half way through dessert we felt too uncomfortable and decided to leave. We thanked the staff while the Maitre was still staring and laughing with a female colleague and with a cheeky smile said goodbye this time looking at me.nervous we decided to go back to our room.Before the check out, we wanted to inform the manager about what happened as the whole hotel shouldn t be blamed for one or two people. Unfortunately once we arrived to the reception we show him Chatting and smiling with a lady. We start talking to the receptionist who call her manager, apparently the lady with the Maitre just before. He stared at my gf again, then quickly left the room, then came back and passed in front of us to listen to our conversation e then disappeared behind a door. We felt extremely stressed about the situation as the manager carry on smiling and laughing and saying yeah don t worry, I m sure you got it wrong, oh but don t worry, you don t need to feel uncomfortable, oh don t worry, he surely didn t meant that! I felt discredited by the main person in charge, who didn t question his staff and saying that we got it wrong and taking about this whole thing in a shallow way. it was meant to be a special day for my partner and the only thing we have got was feeling intimidated, ignored and somehow fooled by part of the staff. Its only we left it s when we put a cross on this hotel, we will not return

As a house guest you can't find anything better in the north of Tenerife. Unfortunately, I have to deduct one star ..... The price for breakfast for visitors has now been excessive for over a year.

Excellent staff with one exceptional incident. Setting in shared rooms and corridors instantly reminded me of the "Overlook Hotel" in "The Shining". No other issues, looks like the spot for weddings in Teneriffa.

We got married in this magnificent hotel 3 years ago, we recommend it to some friends and they also decided to make their wedding. The room, breakfast and its extraordinary areas, the only negative was the chek ing, an unpleasant security and very edge, tells us that the parking is complete, without giving us any solution, I decided to park in double row to lower the suitcases, my surprise When the security leaves the booth and with bad forms, raising your voice tells me that you CAN NOT PARK, EEE, THERE YOU WILL NOT GO, I answered that at no time I was going to leave the car there, the buttons very kind they took our luggage and easily park the car outside the hotel without any problem, I was surprised by that attitude, but hey, when entering the hotel the good forms of the workers appeared.

The best grand hotel not only in Tenerife! There were no criticisms, everything was perfect. To emphasize is in any case the entire (!) Staff, the grandiose garden and the spa area! Just arrive and feel good! Unconditional recommendation!

Beware of this hotel !!! Do not go to this hotel you will get a disappointment, you expect something fantastic and you will get surprises and disappointments. For starters do not ask for breakfast in the room because it is bad and they inflate you to bread. You will book a double room and they will surprise you by saying that the use is individual. They use misleading terminology and incite to error. They call double rooms to all rooms when they have a rate for individual use. Read the fine print or you will reserve thinking that it is double and you will be disappointed. On the other hand, the service and the staff, their ability to resolve and respond, are not up to the certification of Leading Hotels of the World. The level of service is put to the test when problems arise because their lack of capacity is surprising.

A tak poza tym, to troche znoszone i starawe te pokoje jak na piec gwiazdek i cene lekko ponad dwiescie euro za dobe.
Ogolnie hotel zatrzymal sie w latach 90-tych i przypomina japonskie hotele w prowincjonalnych uzdrowiskach.
Na miejscu kilka restauracji, bar z rozrywka dla gosci all inckusive. Jest tez spa. Samo spa, niby duze, z basenem otwartym i krytym oraz z saunami jakos specjalnie nie zachwyca. Nie da sie porzadnie skorzystac z sauny, bo wchodzi sie do niej wprost z hali z basenem, nie ma wiec gdzie sciagnac gaci, a tekstylni laza tu i tam smazac swoje plastikowe stroje i zmuszajac do wdychania szkodliwych oparow. Jednak jak ktos lubi jacuzzi i baseny, to bedzie zadowolony.
Sniadania podawana sa w obszernej sali na parterze i tez jaki zywo przypominaja sale sniadaniowe w lepszych hotelach all inckusive. Na sniadanie niby jest wszystko, ale sporo rzeczy albk za slonych, albo za slodkich. Pelno tzw. comfort food. Kawa okropna.

Great service and treatment; the spectacular hotel garden!

A hotel with the charm of understated luxury. Here everyone was very successful in making sure that the guests are well. You are greeted with friendly letters to the arrival, the rooms cleaned several times a day. The large garden is beautifully landscaped and maintained by 4 gardeners. The spa is also very nice and big. In the three restaurants, we were well-served at stylishly set tables. It is hard to recover better.

The chef, Marcelo, I think it was his name, has come out to greet us and I had the great opportunity to meet him and thank him for the best beef cheek confit with vanilla! It melts in your mouth! Tasty and super mega smooth! Congratulations! It was the first time I've eaten beef so rich, soft and different!

What a lovely hotel this is. Stayed with my wife for our 32nd wedding anniversary. The staff are so friendly helpful and courteous. We stayed for 4 nights in a room overlooking the pool and beautiful tropical gardens with Mount Teide in the distance and 2 nights in Ambassador junior suite. Suite was luxuriously decorated and very spacious, with a combined lounge area and bedroom overlooking Golf course and spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean.
All the staff are friendly, hospitable and professional. The cleaning standards throughout the rooms and communal areas are first class.
We loved the spa, had Golden Dragon Ritual and pain relief treatment, it was so serene and relaxing. We spent a lot of our time by the pool there! The Thai tea (Chai) is to die for!
We had a lovely holiday and would certainly recommend this hotel

Very elegant hotel in the port of La Cruz. It is not in the center of Puerto de la Cruz but it is only a few minutes by car. Parking available for guests and very helpful and pleasant staff. Room with shower and bathtub very comfortable

Anyone looking for architectural perfection is out of place here. It is certainly not the newest and most modern hotel, but definitely the best we have ever visited. From the welcome by the always friendly and helpful staff to the incredibly beautiful garden.
A lot of attention to detail in the room, around the food or in the high quality spa area. The breakfast offer is overwhelming, both the quality and the variety of the food. The pool areas (very nicely embedded in a beautiful and perfectly maintained garden) are very quiet and you can relax for hours. We have not felt as comfortable in any hotel as here. Clear recommendation.

I have been coming for many years and never disappoint. It has a special something in the environment that combines luxury with a sense of home. The service is impeccable, the rooms spectacular the food of a lot of level, the gardens of story ... Nobody can leave discontent if it comes.

Fantastic breakfast is amazing, the attention is perfect without stress ... the spa takes you out of any stress and is beautiful .... the beds for my taste are very soft although 2 meters by 2 meters .... (the doubles), the television is flat but does not have usb entry .... sincerely the hotel is almost perfect, I am not rich and this is not cheap but it offers you the best and you can afford it if you are a normal worker .... . I ordered a romantic room and they gave me everything beautiful .... I am from Tenerife and I was impressed, I will return without hesitation.

Went there for a business lunch. It was a beautiful and comfortable place. Food was prepared and decorated to the perfection. Had a glass of excellent local wine from a place called tacoronte. I cannot tell if it was dear,for I did not have to pay.

I visited the house before 18 years ago i still believe that was the most grate memory's I shared wife

We are "repeat offenders", the hotel is very nice and the park especially! Also the view from the room on the Teide pleased us again and again. The breakfast buffet is extremely good and always varied! We'll be back!

The Botanico & The Oriental Spa Garden is what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Cozy and spacious rooms and nice bathrooms which are equipped with lots of extra gadgets (like bathrobe etc) The service staff is extremely friendly .. In the restaurants is commendable to mention that the dress code which is announced on the website is also complied with Clothes are rejected, which is consistent and also helps to make you feel good.
The spa area is quiet (viewed from the adjacent street) and beautifully landscaped. Overall, a recommended hotel from which you can explore the island wonderful.
The tour through the in-house small botanical garden is also professional and one receives numerous explanations to the animal and plant world, in addition, further tours can be booked and organized.

An old-fashioned hotel in thinking and gives a racist feel. We had an unpleasant experience. Cold and towering hotel. We booked their most luxurious suite + breakfast and dinner cost us three nights close to NIS 7,000 through their website and not through an agent. We found out later that all hotel restaurants do not meet the 5-star hotel (Italian more than it is most likely). It is important to note that we were asked to pay four euros for dinner at a delusional dinner (the food comes with a drink but in the evening) we met high expectations (after we were In South Tenerife in an amazing hotel which was worth every shekel) but we were very disappointed mainly because the hotel did not match our expectations and high reviews at all. The water flow in the shower is very weak and incompatible with the 5 star hotel you come to want to pamper yourself with. Also the breakfast is disappointing and there is a requirement to wear a sleeveless shirt even though the order does not specify anything like that - only in the evening indicate that sleeves should be worn. No young people in the hotel at all. The only good thing is the very comfortable bed and the beautiful paintings that the hotel has. This is not recommended for young couples, and honeymoon holidays are not.

One of the best hotels we've been to. The customer service is unbeatable and the facilities are 10. It has a fantastic spa with heated outdoor pool. In the interior it has a swimming pool, jacuzzi and various saunas. It is very pleasant to walk around the small botanical garden around the hotel. Our room looking at the fantastic teide. They also leave you with mineral water daily and more details that make the difference and makes your accommodation very comfortable. All staff very friendly.
