Hotel Borobudur Jakarta Review

Slow receptionist, we had to wait for 2 hours due to the room we book is unavailable, got the room at 16.30, nice swimming pool, bed not comfy

A popular place to have a formal or chit chat meeting

Our favorite hotel in Jakarta. Although it is not new, but it is still well maintained. The pool was big, the playground is also a plus point for our kids. There are kids activity also in the pool on the weekends. The room was ok. Always prefer the room with a bathtub due to our daughter's preferences. There are running path also where you can enjoy a bit running inside the premisses with lush trees so you will be under the shades most of the times. Breakfast was also good. Lots of choices.

For a famous and historical hotel like Hotel Borobudur I can only give 2 stars for several reasons:
1. The toilet flush is broken and the carpet was dusty.
2. The TV remote did not work and dusty.
3. This is the most disappointing part: I found a little cockroach near the pancake stall. Disgusting!
4. The internet connection is unstable.

5 star hotel located in central Jakarta. Close to the center of government of the current Indonesian capital. Very good service. Very complete restaurant. Starting from the restaurant with the menu local (Indonesian), Japanese, Chinese, European menus and also bakeries and cakes that are always served fresh from the oven.

I have been in the hall for attending a wedding ceremony, not in the hotel.

The hall is good ... The meals are okey

Masya allah ... The good is this hotel, spacious and big ... there is also a garden, swimming pool and sports arena behind the hotel

The cafe in the lobby is fun ... the live piano is good ... unfortunately when serving the drinks we ordered it seemed to slip ... so it came so late ... well this is the thing to be improved .... in overall fun .... .

Bigger room and good interior design and also easy to go everywhere

The hotel is okay good, the food is also delicious, it's just a shame that the mosque is a difficult place, there are no toilets and heat, the air conditioner doesn't taste the duster, the carpet is just a B. Very disappointed 5 star hotel so. Hopefully there is an improvement

The hotel is quite comfortable, the place is very spacious, there is also a large park, there is a children's playground, there is a park for walks and photographs, there is a super large swimming pool too.
The room's interior is old school, and uses a lot of wood. So it feels cramped because there is a big table in his room and there are steps like that which make children cringe when they go up and down in the room.
Breakfast is pretty complete though not exactly special.
Come rada morning for breakfast, especially on weekends, pretty crowded guests.

But so far, this is a pretty cool hotel to invite my wife and children to stay and vacation.

Good old hotel in the central city of jakarta. Located next to Banteng Field, Borobudur Hotel provide direct view to Banteng Field. Spacious parking area, old but gold room design, located in the central of jakarta, and tasty breakfast is most main reason for you to give thus 5 stars hotel a try. Suitable for honeymoon hotel or family trip.

The place looks old but well groomed and beautiful. The design accentuates Indonesian culture and art. Strategic location, close to Gambir Station and Pasar Baru. It is in the corner, so if you come here bring a car, make sure it turns right. If it's wrong, you have to play again. There is a cafe and restaurant. Suitable for office activities.

A great escape place at the center of Jakarta. Huge green parks, many sports facilities and they got butterfly park. Kids will love this place

Borobudur Hotel is still by far my favourite hotel in Jakarta. For someone living in the frequently chaotic megacity like Jakarta, Borobudur Hotel can be an oasis. The pool is the highlight of the hotel. It's the largest and cleanest one I've been to in Indonesia. I pretty much come to the hotel for amazing pool. One thing to note is, being a 5-star luxury hotel, everything at the hotel carries a high price-tag. This includes food & beverage. I was particularly unimpressed by the fact I had to pay $6 AUD BY THE HOUR to rent cheap ping-pong rackets, something I didn't need to do at other hotels. The room is a little bit smaller and dated compare to other similar hotels in the city, and I think it's a bad idea to not have a sitting area at the lobby. Overall it's still a good experience if you like swimming.

The room rate is quite expensive, according to the facilities of the place. The parking area is large, there is a 24-hour reception, there is a money changer area.
The situation in the hotel is comfortable and quiet, also clean. There is a luggage storage area. The restaurant also provides live music, usually at night.
