Kempinski service, new rooms and suites is probably the smaller restaurant rebuilt. One of the top 5 star hotels in Hamburg. A bit out of the center but not far away at the Aussenalster. For train travelers by taxi and within walking distance. Conference Hotel. In the summer also the courtyard as in some classic hotels in Paris, France .

0/10 Worst kempinski ever! I can t realize how this hotel is rated 5*superior , it deserves a 2*
the hotel is not clean!!!!!!! Full of dead mosquitoes and living spiders in the toilet (curtain, ceiling,...)! Avoid it !!!!!ROOMS ARE NOISY,every minute a nearby door closes the whole bed shakes!Kempinski Hamburg IS NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. The WIFI IS VERY SLOW, which is not acceptable for a 5 superior rated hotel. Not clean at all, dirt spots on floor(moquette) , on the curtain and beddings! AIR CONDITIONER is not working! Shampoo and shower gel used and not sealed!

We felt very comfortable, very friendly and attentive staff.

It's clean, but it's old. Also in the morning at 7.30 the staff starts the guru, ungrateful.

one of my favorite places to stay in germany. exceptional staff, rooms, and environment. you won't be sorry for picking this as your "home away from home" while in hamburg.

As an old hamburger I knew the hotel so far from all outside. I had heard that they had finally renovated what was probably necessary. When I arrived at the front desk I did not have this impression. But when I saw my room it was completely different. Everything is beautifully and carefully renovated with classic elegance. I was fortunate enough to get an upgrade for my room. Therefore, I had one of the best rooms (I think) with Alster view, 4-meter-high ceilings, a private living room with a sofa set and a second desk (measures: head office). Unfortunately, this suite had only a mini-cabinet which seemed a bit incomprehensible to me. On the corridor to the room it smelled a bit musty, but you can definitely fix it quickly.

What do you want to capitalize on? Simply great. Great big rooms. First class staff and service. Alster nearby. Just stay there once, if you have the necessary change.

The view is nothing to compare. Everything was completely clean. The staff very polite and friendly.

A great hotel from which you have heard a lot of good. Udo Lindenberg lives here. From the outside really a great building and right on the Aussenalster and not far from Hamburg Hauptbahnhof.

Came in with a big problem, not as hotel guests, to the concierge and was excellently served and got the problem solved. Thanks!

Outstanding. Great breakfast. In the beds it is great to sleep. The bathrooms are very nice. Great location

Very friendly reception, easy check-in. Unfortunately, we had to realize that the hotel is being rebuilt, but you were not informed when booking. The noise was limited. The rooms are big and have high ceilings. The bathrooms very modern and also large. You have to give a big deduction, because the WLAN is extremely slow. This is not reasonable for a 5 star hotel! Even with the high-speed package for 3 EUR the night is not better. The breakfast buffet is big enough, but the service left something to be desired. Furthermore, many guests from Arabian area were present, which with their special wishes made everything difficult.

I would be with my girlfriend, her sister's boyfriend and in-laws at this hotel a couple of weeks ago.

The rooms are big and nice. The breakfast was delicious and varied.

Unfortunately I couldn't use the wellness area.

The staff was friendly and helpful.

Would recommend to everyone.

Ich war nicht oft in Hamburg zu Gast. In der Welt bin ich an vielen Orten gewesen. In der Freien und Hansestadt Hamburg war ich schon in einigen Hotels gewesen, was Rang und Namen in der Oberklasse hat. Das Atlantic ist mit Abstand das beste Hotel, was es in Hamburg gibt, ach in Deutschland gibt.

Nice rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff and very central location in Hamburg. The fitness area is expandable and could use a modernization. Nevertheless, a recommendation!

Great hotel in a perfect location!

The hotel is very central to the main train station, and it is still very quiet. The staff throughout the hotel is always helpful and very courteous. A special thanks to the lady (lobby bar) who made it possible for us to take the fantastic Atlantic cake with us to Munich.

The room with a view of the Alster was a dream!

The food in the entire house is really delicious!

What else can one say about the Hotel Atlantic in Hamburg? Great luxury hotel, from the lobby to the rooms. Food is OK to good, but there are plenty of options for eating in the area.

Old school 5* charm. Spectacular rooms, fabulous bar & restaurant. In-room TV channel selection is the only frustration.

Absolutely not to be recommended - not only that the hotel is getting old and showing signs of an investment backlog. Rather, my stay was associated with a massive disturbance of peace until late at night, as an internal event and its immense volume level were above the interests of the other hotel guests. You are used to a lot, but that was really beyond what I have experienced so far. The handling of the hotel staff was just as insufficient as the compensation offers on the part of the hotel. I personally would avoid the hotel with every stay in Hamburg, if only because there are more than enough preferable alternatives.

Great hotel - exclusive atmosphere - friendly and very attentive service. Always worth a trip.

There lives a Mr. Lindenberg, nice view over the lindischen ocean ... others say: the village pond. Loud street in front of the door. and for photography a challenge - the stupid street lamp in front of the globe with the two pretty ones on the roof.

The hotel is currently under renovation. I'm curious to see what happens.

The breakfast room is a medium disaster for this hotel. The service staff however very friendly!

A pearl! Next to the Adlon in Berlin the greatest hotel in Germany! The house itself is a sensation and is completed by the warm staff. Fantastic breakfast. Signature Dish: Try lobster soup!

very very cool hotel. not all fresh but with charm. the whiskey bar is awesome (but expensive) and the rooms more than ok. within walking distance of the main station.

The furniture in the rooms is getting a bit old.
Black plastic chandelier, in a 5 star + hotel, uh no, doesn't work at all!
And today there is no longer any need for a large crack for visitors.
Bathroom large and modern.
Breakfast was great.
The staff are friendly.
You can sit comfortably in the evening with piano music, under Kaiser Wilhelm :)

A great hotel to feel very nice staff the smaller wishes in the act. Unfortunately, there is a star deduction because the missing reclaimed bathrobe was not replaced, and what my wife was missing was a vanity mirror in the bathroom and possibly a little bissl brighter light on the mirror.

The best hotel in Hamburg. Super friendly service, great restaurant and kitchen. Breakfast excellent. Room a dream. Come back again and is the best to recommend.

The hotel is located just in front the lake and at 10 minute or (at the time of this review) 9 taxi ride from the city center.

The Atlantic Kempinsky is most probably one of the top hotel in all Europe and offer what is without any doubt a real first class experience.

The rooms are simply superb, large and with excellent furnitures.

Staff is superb and alway ready to help without being intrusive.

A single remark to the reception that is in my opinion a litlle understaffed during the peek hours therefore you can expect to queue a litlle too much.

Very nice hotel, a very nice classic bar. The wellness area is pleasant with nice staff. There is also an infrared cabin.

We were three nights in Hamburg. It was a great time in a hotel where you can find history in every corner. Even the hallways to the rooms were lovingly gestsltet. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Construction work on such a historic house must be nunmal. We did not feel disturbed by that, especially since the staff responded very well to the situation. Honestly, now you are curious about the change. It was great.

Big name, noble reputation, but getting a bit old. A refurbishment would do the hotel good.

Despite renovation stress recommended. The bar is currently integrated in the lobby, the old restaurant closed (but there is a new alternative). Quiet, beautiful Junior Suite (Alsterblick): very well renovated and clean! Air conditioning efficient and quiet. Housekeeping satisfactory, room service and quality of food / drinks good. Service in general very good. Breakfast area unfortunately a bit small.

Positive service, comfortable rooms. Negative: Air conditioning does not work properly and cools a few degrees and not more. A complaint would not be received, probably because no change is possible. Not 5 * worthy.

Very courteous staff, fancy place, spacious rooms ... BUT: the mattresses were not for me. Rarely slept so badly (very soft). The staff helpful, with a board under the mattress should be remedied. Unfortunately this did not bring the desired success.

Excellent time-honored house with central location
For a long weekend in Hamburg, where you live centrally and would like to reach on foot just perfect. The proximity to the main station (and subway station) is great. The service is very friendly and attentive. The charm of the hotel, however, is outstanding. The touch of history blows through the corridors and in the lobby, the patina is visible and charming. The rooms are new, modern and at the same time very elegant. A true 5 star hotel which creates the balancing act between old charm and modern comfort.

Super cool hotel with noble ambience. To the story, it has been an old seafaring hotel and is protected monument. There is a 5 x 3 meter high fireplace in the main hall. Food and drinks are high class. We were very pleased to be here as a guest.

First impression, especially the lobby, unfortunately very dark. Rooms are nice and original but a bit getting old. Service was good, garage for a 5 star hotel really a joke. A total of 4 stars and only because of Udo
