Apparently unusual destination but full of history and culture. The hotel is well furnished and the services are good. The hotel is among the most historic and the beach, good food, the beach make the stay pleasant especially for families since the absence of rocks and shallow water allows you to stay quietly and sunbathe. Out of season, total relaxation !!!!
We came here for the spa. It is the only spa in the area. The therapist was very thorough but she didn't use a lot of strength. Overall, it was a good experiance

The only drawback: the bar closes at 17.30!
Given that people are allowed to stay by the pool until late, a bar service is, in my opinion, essential.
very poor managed hotel, the service very bad, very sad faces, online reservation is just waste of time once u are there to check in there are no rooms, very noisy ad dirty, like a brothel you hear other people having sex on other rooms, the blonde girl at reception just wanted ti rip some euros, bad experience.

Really beautiful hotel with a great pool. Lovely for tourists, however it is on the expensive side, especially for locals. Nice restaurants nearby too and it is on the beach which is great as you get the best of both worlds (beach and pool). You'll find mostly tourists here so you won't get much of a cultural experience but it is great for a relaxing holiday by the beach.

I stayed off-season for a weekend in the Adriatik.
The service, staff and food in the restaurants clearly is a 5 star hotel.
Beach front is amazing, pool was out of service in off season but the pool area looks very nice and inviting to families.
The restaurant had an Albanian night with local food and dances - a great experiemce that was priced very fair.
Unfortunately the rooms are a little run down and hence in my perspective over priced.
The executive room have a nive sun bathing terrasse.
It is nice 3 hotel, but it is far away from 5 !
Receptionist were very rude to me, so that's why I gave them 1 .

Hotel Adriatik is an old famous hotel by the sea. I see a lot of improvements since my last time last year, therefore I give 4 stars. Yet it is not a 5 star hotel. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Service is good but not yet excellent. Food quality is good, but breakfast table is a bit poor in choices, unlike a 5 star hotel. Location is good. What surprised me was the customers have to pay extra to use the internal spa and sauna. In a 5 star hotel it is supposed to be available at all time free of charge. Enjoy your stay!
Good hotel right on the beach. Very well-kept garden, very nice pool. Rooms with modern standards and clean. Breakfast buffet could be a bit more creative, yogurts from Germany might make an impression in this region, but I would like to have products from the region !!.

It was a great experience, I found myself very well. The availability of the hotel staff and all in general was truly impeccable. The food was excellent and in abundance, I recommend it for people with celiac disease. The hotel was well equipped including sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. The welcome was very very friendly

The food quality was extremely poor for that price and the service not so good. I did not like the fries ( not good fried and black ), i return it but no body give back new ones. However i pay for them. Very disappointed

Terrific hotel right on the beach. Very kind staff. Guarded parking, nice pools - both indoor and outdoor with sea water. Very good breakfast. Private beach with free sunbeds and umbrellas. Rooms nicely decorated and spacious with private terrace and sea views - executive rooms. Place to recommend.

Has a nice outside pool and a small inside pool. Bed was very comfortable. One night in a sweet with 2 balconies and over 30m2 for 110 per night.

A high standard hotel overlooked by great working staff and a heartfelt service. Excellent breakfast, outdoor pools, indoor, spa, huge rooms facing directly to the sea, private beach of the hotel clean and tidy keeps in a place that does not allow foreigners to get close. Highly recommended!
This hotel is awesome. The Albanian art and displays through out the hotel give it a really authentic vibe. It's like staying in a museum resort. The suites are a decent size and the balconies are cozy. The restaurant has great seafood and tastey desserts. The wellness area AKA spa is legit. The salt pool and the sauna really help you unwind. I got a swedish massage while I was there which I desperately needed.
What really stood out at the Adriatik was the staff. From the front desk to the waiters, everyone has exceptional hospitality as expected with Albanians. I highly recommend taking a tour with Mario. He is super knowledgeable with regards to Albanian traditions, culture and history. My fiance and I had a blast touring Berat with him and eating really authentic Albanian cuisine.
Katerina the event coordinator helped coordinate our whole stay. She was a sweet and delightful person.

Hotel is basically fine. There are lots of staff but, especially at bars, they prefer to stare their mobilephones than serve customers.

If I had to resume my day experience in one word out would be: Poor. Poor service, disgusting food, very bad pool water quality, and toilets that weren't cleaned since the fall of the USSR.

The facility was great. Lots of renovations = Beachside and Pool side. We had several rooms as it was combination business and family holiday for some of our team. The Support Staff were mostly young and inexperienced BUT were well trained and ALL worked very hard to give us a great experience. The cooks made good efforts, but food often was not as good as one would hope. August at the beach was CROWDED ... dropped over 50% in September. We are told there are MANY nicer beaches in Albania... but as we had to commute to Tirana (45 mins plus any traffic delays) we selected Durress. All of us would gladly use the same hotel again.

I picked this hotel since I was hoping for a premium experience in a new city and country. However, there were many things I was not happy about that do not meet the 5-Star label.
But, I'll start with the good, the staff and food are good and I had no issues with them at all. They are the reason this is a two star and not a one star review.
My first issue is the room itself was dated to say the least and the bathroom was quite small. Additionally, no water was provided in the room which is standard even in a 4-star hotel. The beach the hotel has is also really really dirty. I found corn cobs in the sand, cigarette butts and I was honestly worried I'd step on broken glass. The experience put me off Durres as a whole, because if this is the best the city has to offer, I don't want to see the rest.
Stayed here 2 nights and its a fine hotel! Nice rooms, the beach Front and everything is very clean. We had a beautiful balcony with Sea view and the staff was friendly.<br/>We booked without Breakfast but they invited us for Breakfast for free!! Really nice! Thank you! The Spa is small but nicely done.<br/>2 bottles of water in fridge complimentary! The pillows for us were to hard.....
