Customer service is slow, lacks social skills and doesnt stand behind their seeds ... I'll be ordering exclusively from other sources ... you may have created the hottest pepper ... but you're company is pathetic.
They've got good sauces here. The two girls working the counter were very helpful and let you try before you buy.

These guys are awesome! I love their products and have many in my refrigerator. The store is fun, they let you try all kinds of products, including ones not yet on the website, and they are very informative about the products. I can't wait to visit my family nearby and go to the store again.

My family and I just spent an awesome afternoon tasting sauces and talking to the great employee there... yes, we bought a lot more than we had expected to, but it's hard not to when everything is so damn good!
By now this company, and its founder Ed Currie, have achieved worldwide fame as creators of the Carolina Reaper, the chili pepper - they say - more spicy in the world. What is certain is that it is around two million (!) On the Scoville scale, while a supermarket hot pepper reaches a maximum of about one hundred and fifty thousand.
I am a huge fan of spicy food and I bought a Carolina Reaper and ate the whole thing in my car and then when to the store to get milk for my family.
I am a Puckerbutt follower for 5+ years. I have know Ed since he was selling his sauces at our church's festival. He is extremely enthusiastic about peppers. His sauces are, of course, hot to varying degrees, but also very flavorful and natural tasting. Other "hot" sauces add other things to their sauce to reach a desired flavor or heat; Ed's items are more on the 'natural' side. I always have 3-4 Puckerbutt sauces in my fridge, along with one or two other companies that he sells in his store.
Ed is a very honest person and this appears to have carried on to his store and employees as he has grown. If you have any problems with seeds, etc, be sure to contact them directly, I guarantee they will rectify the problem.

Pucker Butt is the real deal. A visit to their store in Fort Mill is a must if you're in the area. Doug was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, speaking with me at length about the company while allowing me to sample the products. While they're known for the world's hottest pepper, their natural/organic products deliver exceptionally balanced flavors from dozens (maybe hundreds) of varieties of superhot peppers for use in any cuisine. I cannot wait to use and enjoy these products in my recipes at home, and I look forward to returning when I run out.
They replaced PERUVIAN HABANERO 3 times (40 seeds) and not 1 seed germinated.. Use PepperHeads instead. Plus these guys never even have reaper seeds of any color but red and there supposed 2 be the creators lol

Really great sauces with awesome service. We left early to go a few hours out of our way to make a special stop here. So glad we did. Was worth it.
A friend of mine bought a pack of Carolina Reaper seeds and a pack of Trinidad Scorpion hybrid seeds to plant. He has no place to plant them and I do, so I did. Placed seeds in seed trays with new Miracle Grow soil. Once the plants got big enough to put into the ground, I did, and watered them religiously. I should have had 6 Scorpion and 6 Reaper plants. Instead, there were 11 pokeberry plants, and one plant that looks like a pepper plant that was in the Reaper batch. See the pictures. This, I think, is fraud, and it's dangerous, as pokeberry plants are poisonous. I don't know if someone at PuckerButt Pepper Company is playing games, but it sure is not funny to spend money and time to cultivate nothing but trash.
Since my friend did email you with no response from your company, and you answered here, I will answer your reply. As much as you are 100% positive your packets were not contaminated with pokeberry seeds, I am 1000% positive that I, personally, opened each packet, breaking your seal, and planted two seeds per each section of a 6-section tray. I am also 1000% positive I used new Miracle Grow soil from a new bag I purchased from WalMart. I chose the best looking seedlings from each of the Trinidad Scorpion and Carolina Reaper batches (six of each) to plant in the garden. Although pokeberries are a plant common to the SE United States, they are not common here, and the first I've ever seen them here were the ones I grew from your seeds. Now, you can see the pictures. They do not appear to show on the review here, but click on my name, and it will take you to all my reviews, where you can see the pictures of what grew from your seed packets. These packets cost my friend what? $7 - $8? Do you think I would get on here and waste my time telling lies for that amount of money? No. The seeds were not what they were supposed to be.

I ordered seeds with delivery in the online store. I paid. They dragged on for several days with the shipment, then it turned out that they could not send the parcel.
What a great experience this was our first time visit from the time I spoke with Tabitha over the phone . until the time we came to visit it was 5 stars. Tabitha helped us pick out a gift for our friend also she just me me and my wife feel like family. We have not tried your product yet but I am pretty sure we will love it.

Beware.... I drove over two hours to Carolina Reaper. The girl working in the store was very nice and helpful, but this place is a scam about the seeds they sell. I purchased Original Carolina Reaper, Caramel Reaper, Peach Carolina Reaper All of the Reaper varieties are not correct they are bhut jolokia. The plants all produced very long pods that are yellow(not Peach) or red. I contacted Puckerbutt and told them this and sent pictures. The responded by saying alot of people were getting packets that are not Carolina Reaper. They never responded again after that, they just Ignored my emails. I have lots of time and money spent in growing a falsely advertised product from a company that admitted it, and doesn't care about doing it.
I came here for my birthday. I love hot sauces and this store houses some of the tastiest and definitely hottest peppers in the world. Any hot sauce or pepper enthusiast should make a trip here. Ed is very kind and was very generous for my visit.

This place was one of the best pepper places I ve been to I was stopping by from Maryland which is around a 7 hour drive and I got to say it was worth it. The employee working there Tabitha M was one of the most if not the most kindest and most helpful person I ve ever seen. It also had a great selection of hot sauce especially the Voodo Mamba and the Habanero Guajillo sauce. This place offered great customer service and if I could give this place a 6 stars I would.

Wow. I ordered and the product arrived very quickly. The sauce is the hottest sauce I've ever tried, but unlike other sauces that only pack heat with no flavor, this sauce "I Dare You Stupit" is delicious AND very hot. I'm planning a visit to PuckerButt in Rock Hill, SC next year when I visit my folks in North Carolina.
I am going out today to my favourite Mexican Restaurant and I'm going to use this sauce on actual food (as opposed to slurping it from a spoon as I've done for a couple of days now). I just can't keep my hands off this sauce.

Little family owned spot where you can get handcrafted hot pepper sauces. And I do mean HOT stuff. If you're really ambitious, try the "Chocolate Plague." It's made from the Chocolate Bhutlah pepper. But be warned... Have it on your mind. LOL

great products, but the visit to the store (2 times in one year) have been a problem. The salesperson is more interested in texting than answering questions, when I told my guests how great this place is and asked the person at the front desk to tell the story, she seemed indifferent. This is twice in one year: same passive ( yeah whatever) attitude. Yeah they have the hottest pepper, now if they can only heat up the in store experience, it would be a great destination place... Don't make it a special stop to go to. I have twice, and twice dissapointed.
I would take away a star if I could. The people here are always so mean to me and call me names like SpicyPants and other amazing names. Truly though I love every person that is involved with this business. Except the name calling.
