Cool place, great location, cool little theme nights, and really nice staff!

Nice staff and a solid location with good tram access.

Let me start with the good stuff. There is a bar and social area. Cheap beer from the tap can be bought at this bar.
The receptionist could help us find a cheap restaurant. There is free lemonade in this room. Beds were fine, not necessarily special. I don't get how this hostel gets 4.5 star maybe because you get a free drink when reviewing.

The sanitary facilities are not in the room, for the shower you have to go up a flight of stairs and the toilet a flight of stairs down.

The next morning got breakfast for which you had to add money if you want a slice of cheese or ham. No boiled eggs available, but fortunately still cruesli. Only sweet mess that could go on your bread.

What is certain is that it is not a hotel. Anyway ok

Nice hostel, but unfortunately too noisy, you can hear every door, every step and every step, but could also be due to the many children.

Great atmosphere. Live music in a cozy living room area. And cheap drinks!

Very lively hostel! For a Saturday evening a small concert was organized, nice and not very disturbing for the mixed dormitories located on the 3rd floor.
The bathroom area was a little tight for my taste but well maintained.
The breakfast is quite varied, which is a plus.

Best hostel in Rotterdam. Maybe in Nederland. Probably the world. Angela was VERY helpful.

Charming hostel with a very good location to discover the city. Rooms are well maintained and in various styles. Like the "Love Room" in the pictures.
Breakfast is very minimal.
Downside, of course due to the age of the building, is the noise from creaking floors when people have to go to the washrooms at the back.
The connecting doors also have pumps that are too loud, which make the doors slam shut at the last minute.
Result ... they really keep you awake !!!!

Some call it a place to sleep, others remember it as a hero of the night for rejuvinating the weary bones of a traveller when no where else could.

I really enjoyed it. Clean and big rooms and toillets. The staff is super friendly and the whole atmosphere is great especially the events and the lovely breakfast and coffee. Very recommended!!

The stuff is really friendly (we came late & without a reservation & they let us check in without further questions) as the other guests are. The hostel is close to a lot of nice spots, it's cleaned several times a day & considering how cheap it is you really got everything you would expect for that price. Thank you for having us! :)

A good hostel, unfortunately, as in Amsterdam in Rotterdam, you need to think about booking in advance, a well-furnished common area.

It's really hard to leave...fantastic people, it's a short walk from the station and in my favorite part of Rotterdam, comfortable rooms and great facilities, free WIFI actually works too, staff where great people too i think Vilma and Annick probably need a raise

Came in without expecting much, but this is by far the best hostel I ve ever stayed at. The staff are all so friendly and super helpful, and this made all the difference to my stay as I felt warmly received and comfortable here. The bike I rented from them for 10 for 24hrs was worked great too and well worth it to see the most of Rotterdam! The location of the hotel is great too for this pursuit :)
The breakfast is good: bread and many varieties of jam and condiments, cereal, milk, yoghurt, cheese and ham. Pretty nice variety for a free breakfast. Can t complain.

The only problem was it was a bit loud on Saturday night since I slept on the 1st floor (even tho I used the free ear plugs provided at the reception, I still had difficulty sleeping). And some of the drains in the female showers are a bit clogged and I was standing in a pool of water when I showered. Other than these, I had a marvelous time here and will for sure stay again if I come back to Rotterdam.

Clean and good service. Happy hour every night 7-9pm. Jaeger shots and half a pint of beer for 1.50. Very chilled living area.

Excellent little cosy hostel. Amazing free breakfast, loads of content if you're travelling alone. Also accepting longer stays with possibility of registration. Saved me lots of trouble while moving to Rotterdam.

I stayed at the Hostel for three nights recently and had an excellent experience. The staff were very friendly. We participated in their trivia night and it was very well run and a great way to meet other backpackers.

Very nice hostel. Friendly atmosphere. I slept there 5 nights and I didn't have any kind of problem. The room (a six bedroom) was good as well as the breakfast.There is also a kitchen and an area with washing machine.

I have come to Rotterdam with my friends from Interrail and this accommodation has been ideal, since the service and staff are very friendly and help in everything they can. The rooms are immaculate and breakfast is fine. I recommend!!!

Well laid out atmosphere, themed rooms and good location. They serve a good breakfast and are very helpful.

Pretty good hostel, friendly vibe, no security worries. Bathrooms were a bit under equipped with no ledges to place toiletries. Would stay here again.

It's a cozy hostel with small but clean rooms and free breakfast. Affordable for staying too and close to the Erasmus bridge. It's about a 20-30inute walk to the centre of the city if you're looking to explore but not travel too much. Loved the location and decor. Clinical area is very cozy with lots of chargers and sofas.

The bed's are not very clean and it's quite annoying that in dormroom the beds aren't allocated! Also the bed are very cheap so very bad quality and you will feel every movement of the person on top or below unfortunately! I hope they do something about that. The common room and breakfast is very nice though, very cozy to hang around!

Good beds to sleep, great common area, hot (and clean) showers, and, more importantly, a very welcoming staff!!

Awesome hostel! Great for meeting people and launching point to explore the Netherlands. The happy hour is good, the rooms are okay, but the staff was top notch. The wifi can be iffy. It is located is a great spot for public transportation. And a supermarket and seaside are 5 minutes away.

Location is so great: 3 minutes walk from the bridge (Erasmusburg), 15 minutes walk from city center,
A supermarket (Albert Heijn) is 2 minutes walk from the hostel,
I highly recommend Hostel Room to anyone coming to Rotterdam

There is a very good atmosphere for young people. The people you serve are very kind. Breakfast is super super complete with lactal bread and sweets or huntable cheese. Includes coffee and yogurt with cereals. They also sell fruits and prepare more elaborate breakfasts for an additional 3 euros. They sell food and beers. The pices cost 6 euros for example. The rooms are very nice, all decorated. The bathrooms are shared. The shower is not the best since it does not have enough power and it lacks place to support the clothes, etc. The kitchen is small but has everything. Very good place, I would go back without hesitation!

Nice venue, very friendly staff, even though you asked 100 questions, whatever my daughter did, and they kept smiling. Breakfast was also well organized and delicious. A second cup of coffee for the same price was also no problem, and we received excellent service there too. I will definitely come back here !! A big 10 !!

Friendly a atmosphere with eclectic decore. Room was basic: bunk beds, closet, lockable under bunk chest, and clean. Friendly employees.

Super cool hostel in the middle of the city.
With a (voluntary) program that changes every day and a large lounge / bar with games where you can easily meet new people.
Has a great interior and a functional shared kitchen.
At the reception you were warmly welcomed and given good tips for the area.

The very best hostel I've visited and slept in. Staff is friendly, breakfast tasty a as you leave the house, you are in the middle of Rotterdam. I really enjoyed my stay here.

We can recommend this hostel a 100%. Mirjam, the owner of the place, and one of her staff members Andrea are outstandingly friendly. They are up for a chat, have good advice and got a solution for everything. The hostel is well equipped and decorated with love and care. We will definitely come pack here next time we are in Rotterdam.

Hostel Room is located on the border of Rotterdam and chic Rotterdam. No frills, within a hodgepodge of tables and chairs, but a cozy and warm atmosphere. We didn't just sleep for coffee. You can use a debit card

I find a great place, friendly staff, free breakfast, good laundry service, but the shared room lacks less quality in the service they provide, since they changed our room and in the other there was a curtain and the mattresses had better coating . But overall the stay was very pleasant.
