Hostal Cèntric Barcelona Reviews

Hostal Centric is an amazing place with the nicest staff I have ever met at a hotel! :) My colleague and I really liked this place. Hostal Centric exceeded our expectations: it is super clean, quiet, comfortable (we had a mini fridge and an electric tea making kettle with various tea sorts) and has a super friendly atmosphere (the receptionists greeted us in Ukrainian, actually they learnt a couple of words in a native language for each of the hotel guests).
Despite of Barcelona riots, we had a great vacation as Hostal Centric is located in a very quiet street. Besides, this hotel is close to 2 metro stations (red metro line).
And breakfasts at Moriz Brewery, which Hostal Centric offers, are very tasty and cheap. We really enjoyed them :)

The hotel is near to a metro station but also you can walk to the city center. The room was very clean and receptionists were nice and helpful.

Stayed 4 nights. Double ensuite with boyfriend. I enjoyed staying at this place. The rooms are SO nice. Very clean and no bed bugs. I can't believe this was a budget stay...it was so good. The staff are nice. There is a safe in the room that you can use. It is one of those places that makes you put your key in a slot to turn on the electricity. Bathroom was really good. The location was great...but I never used public transport...it's a very easy city to just walk around everywhere (so small).

The male receptionist when we arrived at the hostel, made us feel welcome. He was courteous, he assisted us with any problem s, he recommended places for us to visit. We visited 6/9/2019 at around 8 pm . This hostel was superb, rooms fantastic. I would recommend this hostel to everyone,

My mom and I stayed here for a week. We had a nice time. Antonio, one of the people that works the front desk is wonderful. He knows so much about the city and about Catalan culture. He should be a tour director! We were also thank full for the other gentleman who often worked in the morning for all of the directions and help.

We were a bit dubious about the term 'hostel' but we needn't have worried as it was immaculately clean, modern bathroom, plenty of space for clothes plus free safe, also a small french balcony, central for all attractions most in walking distance, concierge was fabulous organised our trip to Parc Guelle and printed out our tickets, nothing was too much trouble, only minus was there were no tea/coffee facilities in room but you could get complimentary teas in the lounge area and coffee and biscuits etc from the vending machine, would definitely recommend and would return if in Barcelona again.

This is a good hotel. We stayed for 2 nights here in Barcelona. The rooms are small and felt cramp. If you just want a place to sleep then it's great. Transportation is convenient since it's only 5 minutes from Urgell station. One thing about this place is they don't provide fresh towels daily, only change towles every 2 days and new bedsheet every 4 days. There was also a rule about leaving the key with the front desk whenever you leave. I mean it wasn't such a big deal, just a bit different than what we expected.

Nice Hotel. Very clean and modern interior. Guests get tea and fresh apple at any time. We had a wonderful stay.

This is an amazing budget hotel. I stayed with my boyfriend Monday - Friday for a cheap visit to Barcelona. This hotel had everything we needed. We were greeted by an extremely friendly receptionist who spoke great English. The room was extremely clean, the shower was really nice and bed was comfy. The decor was simple but modern. There was a small terrace where we spent some time in the evenings. The location was the best part of the hotel - we could walk to major parts of the city in 10/15 minutes (La Rambla, the Gothic Quarter, the University). A modest stay but it had everything we wanted - great value for money! Would definitely return.
