Horse Racing Ireland's Leopardstown Racecourse Committee Review

A fantastic day out, any time of year. Relatively cheap, and usually you ll get seven races for your entry, so good value. There s often free or discounted entry for students also.

Very clean. And great staff. Easy to find everything

Looks like a good weekends racing for the Dublin Racing Festival, pity about the extortionate 35 per day entry.

Fantastic day out in Leopardstown. Racecourse..it wasn't about the winning (although I did !). Catering by Firzers was excellently run, as per every event they participate ! Childrens per corner was a welcoming distraction & source of delights for the younger (& adults) generations.
Large screens placed throughout the plaza serving the audience . Totes were well manned with excellence in taking you're bet accurately & with efficiency.
The staff throughout were v welcoming, eager to help & please with two security offering to take my photo, on request with a winning ticket .

In December! Something I d expect to be served in a summer festival not a Christmas festival! Food far from average compared to racecourses north or south

Great fun despite the weather. From drizzle to snow! Inside the grandstand was warm and dry. Popped out to watch the races and back into the warm after each one. Food and drinks were reasonable prices too. Staff very friendly and helpful to us race going virgins.

Great day out. The four day Christmas festival is a fantastic time for all.

Traffic is an absolute joke. We were 1 hour trying to get out of the car park. You best walk as even buses were stuck. Stewards and Guards were of no help to us.

The racecourse itself is nice. The day out is pleasant enough. I feel for families with small kids however

Crowded on 27th Dec but I suppose that was always gonna be the case, just wish there was more food outlets, queued for 30 mins for a dinner, has to treat patrons better. Racing top class do.

We enjoyed the night out gambling, and our few wins and the concert afterwards, good craic

Ireland's premier racecourse, only 30 minutes from city cnetre. Good faciities throughout and usually top class racing

Probably the finest mixed track in the country. Plenty of good viewing areas and plenty of bars and fast food available. Parade Ring a lovely focus point.

Excellent day out for the whole family. They lay on a load of extras if you aren't interested in the equine world. A brilliant juggler, music, painting, and a brilliant acrobat really made the day well worth while.

Good racing and plenty of viewing facilities with several bars and restaurants But can be very cold and windy.

What a horrible time left after 3th race , 35 euro to get in, not enough toilet, young people (kids under age) drunk. Never again.

Had a really great time at the races. The track is a nice size with easy access to parade ring. You can see plenty from the stand. There was plenty of entertainment at the venue. Bus and Luas home was a great add on. Fair play.

1st time to Leopardstown and it was a great experience. Hope to do it again sometime

First time at horse racing, brilliant day out even if your not in to gambling , atmosphere is great and well worth the experience.

Great day out, even though it snowed the day I visited. The horse racing was fun. In addition had a great lunch.

Great facilities with great music not only for Horses!

If animal racing is cool with you than this place is cool. Many food options. They don't accept cards so bring cash

Disappointing student raceday, facilities shockingly bad, not enough staff.

Grand facilities. Coffee dock only took cash though.

Great well run track for young and old concerts every Thursday night after racing in summer

Fantastic race day experience. Parking is plentiful and shuttle bus from the carpark. Plenty of food and drink options available with no delay. Seats readily available and plenty of t.v. screens around if you don't want to venture out.

I go racing alot and today was a disgrace there was loads of young people there who had no interest in racing and very drunk and the hri may do someting about this because its turning the normal racegoer from goin racing ad that has happened at the galway festival allready and if it doesnt change they will have nobody goin racing its turning the man away from racing who goes alot

Went here for the racing and concert thing they have on in the summer. The setup for the band isn't great, they're just sort of off to the side. Had a good time watching the races but I'm not really a gambler so didn't put on many bets but enjoyed the atmosphere.

Nice racecourse but limited beer selection and not the fastest service

Can't bate it on a good day. Fantastic venue with wonderful views of the racecourse and beautiful catering for events.

Best racecourse in Ireland. Facilities great.staff brilliant Lyn is always on hand to help with anything.i attend with friend who is registered blind staff could not be more helpful.full marks to all the staff .fantastic

The Guinness needs work, more ATMs needed, average food choice but good fun.
