Horizon Academy West Reviews

The best elementary school in Albuquerque my youngest son spent his early years thru Horizon West and finished high school at AIMS. The foundation of education with Horizon West gave the ground work for my son that prepared him for high school and finished high school in 2017 with 2 associates degrees and made the deans list at CNM and 87 college credits when him finished high school. So Horizon West will definitely lay the foundation for any kid that attends this school, the staff is awesome and keeps the kids loving school. The best elementary school in Albuquerque!

We've been at the school for about a month and it's night and day difference from Albuquerque Public Schools. The school is challenging academically and does give a lot of homework. They hold students and parents accountable. I appreciate that they do take discipline and safety seriously. I'm grateful for the before and after school program as it offers families needed flexibility. The school also provides nutritional lunch options including a daily salad bar, which is nothing like APS. I'm very impressed this far.

My Grandkids having been going to Horizon for six years now. It is an awesome school with some caring and amazing teachers and staff. I highly recommend this school.

My grandson goes to school here. I am impressed with the structure, discipline and educational results. Mr. Chris was so good last year. This year Ms. Rodriguez has been very effective and my grandson has done well.

Coming from texas i had a hard time finding a good school with almost the same academic level, had to keep them in texas for 5 months and come back here for the rest because of my job, and every time we would go back they were way behind until i was told of this school!! Nm has a low grade level of education at least in elementary for what i can say, but horizon academy doesn't

We have had and still have a couple grandkids go there. It is a great school.
