Hope Lutheran is a thriving Christian community. The school staff has been helpful and supportive as we transitioned our kids from home-school to their accredited private school. They offer a variety of extra-curriculars and events for families. The facility is clean and well-equipped.

ive gone to Hope for 1 year and i did not like it at all. thats just my opinion...
if you want your kid be in better sports, have nicer teachers, and be more social and have more friend (incudling saving money) then i recommend public school.

Fantastic school! Kind and loving teachers. They helped me so much with one of my daughters, getting her the special help that she needed and were with me every step of the way! Such love and support were given to me as well. They test better than the public schools around and expect a lot from the students, but not more than they can handle. Education here is exceptional. I also love that my girls come home knowing more and more about God every day

Can t believe it. Ran out of gas and safely got our car off the road into their parking lot. Instead of coming out and seeing if we were okay or anything. We left and came back with a gas can minutes later police arrive. Like really what kind of church people are y all?!? Horrible I hope God blesses whomever called the police. That person/s and probably this church as whole needs a good spiritual awakening.

Beautiful Church with traditional service + nice people. We have recently moved to Shawnee and currently looking for a Lutheran Church on our side of town. We loved our previous Church but with it being over 45 miles away; it turns into an all-day trip and way too far to drive every Sunday (especially in winter weather). For a lack of a better word, we are Church shopping. We visited Easter weekend and we were welcomed. We weren t approached at the service, but we did fill out the visitor card. The following week a lady representing the Church stopped by to invite us back. She didn t impose and the visit was informative but brief. She was quite friendly. I appreciate this kind of follow up. To us, it shows an active congregation representing and taking pride in their Church. She wasn t pushy. She didn t linger. She really just stopped by as friendly Hey we seen you and we d like to welcome you back . Kudos! To this Church for having interest and following up in the people who come to visit a service (for whatever reason). We are planning on coming back. Everyone has been friendly. The Church service was inviting and engaging. Can t wait till next Sunday!

This school is amazing. They have a good Christian education and they have a good pastor. This is also a church. I've been to a few of there church services and the pastor really knows what he's doing. The people here are nice some come on over for school or church. Maybe your afraid of COVID-19. Well we wear masks and socially distance.

But a shout out to the Hope Lions.

(I am even on there soccer team.)

Wonderful school for full time students and homeschoolers wishing to attend part time. Education is high quality and Christ centered. Students consistently graduate from this school prepared to excel in high school.

My son has gone to Hope since Pre-K (he is currently finishing 5th grade). The education has been wonderful, and each teacher has been a blessing to my child and has helped mold him in both wisdom and knowledge.

The school's ok. Definitely a school to go to if you need a safe haven, but there's not much to look forward to, and the school's in a low populated place so not many funds, but they do a lot of fun fundraisers.

traumatized me for literal life never send your kids here lol you'll also get held back an ENTIRE grade just because you're struggling in one subject it's ridiculous. I'm so happy I left and now am at a school that actually helps with my academic struggles rather then pick the lazy route and hold me back.

Hope Lutheran School is a great place for families who are seeking a welcoming and Christ-centered education. Hope is a family where teachers and staff love and care for each student. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a school where their children can receive a great education through a Christ-centered focus.

As a former student, I can confidently say that this is no place to send your children. My seventh grade year, I was participating in PE. I hurt my ankle, but the teacher at the time told me to walk it off. I later went to the ER and found that my ankle was in fact fractured and sprained. In computer class, I slid in my chair and was cut by sharp metal under the table. I went to the Nurse's office, and was given a band aid. Later at the ER, I was given 5 stitches. The staff is neglectful and incompetent, and extremely close minded. One of the greatest days of my life was graduating.

Our kids have been going to Hope for 8 years and we never looked back. I wasn't originally sold on a private Christian school, but I'm very happy with the education and development my children are getting.

I have gone here before, the parents and staff may say that this school is great and Christian, but it honestly isn t a great place. You should think of this place as more of an academic rehab for your child. If you raise your child here, believe me, they will go out into the world blind, that is if you don t prepare them for the real world/HS/College. This place offers lots of help in the classroom, but some teachers will offer more help to certain people, not on purpose, but they will. I had a classmate who asked too many questions and the teacher would waste the rest of the class s time explaining even the question itself to that person(no names). Another HUGE problem is the way the kids think of their classmates. Some of the students that come from public schooling will not be able to get along easily with the other PRIVATE schooled children. I feel it s important to teach your own child about manners and tell them that they will not always be around people like them, even if it is a private school they re attending. Most of these kids are truly insensitive to new company, there was a kid with special needs and the rest of the class was mean to him and didn t realize why he didn t understand or remeber some things, and the teachers said nothing to the class but He is different . They will constantly cover up things that need to be said and don t appreciate someone who is trying to make the place a better place, instead they will punish anyone who says the TRUTH about another student. These teachers, at least in older grades, will constantly extend deadlines and if an assignment is missing, the student will most likely not get a late grade for it. Basically they will not prepare your kid for high school. But god forbid you don t capitalize God or say OH MY GOD out loud or pop another students bag of chips(they ll cry cuz they re spoiled ). I m done y all lol...
