Two of my kids have gone to Hope. They received an excellent and rigorous education from professors who care about them. Hope students are polite and respectful. The campus and downtown Holland are beautiful. I am happy my kids chose Hope College.
Students and faculty stare at me and don't even acknowledge my existence and I gurantee it has something to do with me being an African american.. the atmosphere is unacceptable
I was able to work here for a month in the summer, and even as a Calvin grad, u have to admit that many of the services and amenities are great I would recommend it it you are looking for a college that is integrated well into the local community geographically, and if you want a traditional campus in a small town.
I spent a week visiting my then-girlfriend on campus a few years ago. Even now all these years later I still recall the campus with fondness, Really a beautiful setting, delightful architecture, and plenty of cute shops and cafe's all in biking and walking distance. Really felt safe and comfortable spending time here.
The parts I remember most were the friendliness of the students, such as being loaned bicycles to get around campus, and the friendliness of neighborhood residents who were more than happy to take time out of their to give directions or advice on places to go. All in all, the town is wonderful and idyllic, like a neighborhood from a 1950's film. And the campus further strengthens that safety and natural beauty.
It was beautiful and a great ace for our son's education.
A solid Christian University that offers a variety of educational programs as well one of the finest nursing schools in the world. Because it is a relatively small student population it is perfect match for serious, conservative Christian students. The college offers plenty of wholesome student groups and activites as well as Class Three athletics. The woman's swim team is tremendous. The campus is beautiful and well organized. Attend!

Very impressed with the 2017 orientation weekend. All of my son's belonging s were carried to his room on the 3rd floor. The windmill island party was very nicely done. Thorough seminars, kind and helpful people everywhere. The woman at the book store was so sweet and helpful. My son seems to be adjusting, which eases my mind. Looking forward to an excellent learning experience for my son.
Lovely campus within walking distance of downtown Holland and it's shops and eateries.
