Cool hidden bar downstairs, good drinks a hipster kind of bar.

Nice place to hangout with colleagues after work or visit with friends who are ping pong enthusiasts. They also have a pizza for around $10.

It was an excellent place to have family and friends gather after a game downtown. Ping pong is always a good time and the vibe was great.

This place is great, 1hr ping pong is a great time, awesome atmosphere, good service. Make sure you check it out.

A group of 12 of us went to Hop21 for the first time this week & EVERYONE in our party had a great time! Great service, fun atmosphere, plus friendly table tennis competent made for a great night for All! Thanks Hop21, we'll be back!

As far as bars go, this place is a good bar. The only problem is the location. It's very hidden. I walked passed it twice, before finally finding it. It's in the basement of another place. If you're looking for a low key and usually quiet place (unless there's several ping pong games going on), to spend with friends, then this is your spot. But, if you like to be at a more active and busy place to meet people, then this is not your place.

Great venue for a company party! Very fun and entertaining - everyone had a blast.

I've been to this place many times and never had a bad experience. Fun atmosphere, friendly bartenders, awesome drinks. What else can you ask for?!

What a fun place! If you're ever bar hopping or going to USBank Stadium, stop by for a great beer selection and some ping pong. I lose every time, but that never stopped me from having fun.

Went here with my husband on date night. Was apprehensive at first, as we are not great table tennis players. Ended up having a great time!!!! Max the owner is very welcoming, staff is friendly. It's a great creative and active way to spend time with friends, family or co-workers. My husband and I ended up playing, drinking and laughing all night. Met fun people too. Highly recommend!

This place has such a cool vibe. Cozy, fun and great food - especially the chicken salad. The ping pong tables are great entertainment for a group. (Oh, and the owner is pretty hot :-)

FUN!!! Had never been to a ping pong bar, but I thought it was a really fun place to hang out. Grab a few friends (price per table is per hour, not per person) and give Hop21 a try at least once!! Some great drinks too!

This place charges $20 for 4 paddles per hour. Totally reasonable. However, a friend and I came and there was two people already playing (paying for the 4 paddles) and they wanted to play doubles. We were stopped by the bartender and told that s their table. You re not allowed to play with them.

Bad business practice. If we were allowed to stay and play with them (since they were already paying for the 4 paddles) we would ve had a great experience and boughten more drinks. We will never return and will tell all of our ping pong loving friends to stay away.

Great fun and decided next time to order the pizzas and not be disappointed with restaurant. I love the full bar cocktails with playing ping pong.

I have been to Hop 21 on numerous occasions. We had a great time with entertaining our daughter's friends and my family as they turned 21. The service was great and we enjoyed meeting the owner. We highly recommend the fun environment while playing a family/friend tournament. It is a great place to go for a fun and unique place for drinks and entertainment.

Great place for a quick beer after yoga or to settle in and play some serious ping pong. Nice space with great tables/paddles and friendly staff.

One of my favorite places to go downtown - atmosphere is always super friendly and fun, bartenders are prompt and attentive, equipment is top notch and their sandwiches they started serving recently are fantastic.

And separate mention for being the cleanest bar / pub I have been to.

You can only play ping pong there. There's not much more u can do. Would be nice to have more sitting area.

Fun place. There was a party going on which looked like it worked pretty well for. Plenty of space to accommodate it and others. Good drink selection. Food is frozen pizza which was OK for what it was. Most importantly it's a good space to play ping pong. Friendly staff and nice bathrooms.

I was at this place almost an year back with my wife and her friend. We were looking for a place to chill out a Friday night and ran into this place without really planning for it. We were lucky to find a parking by the side of it. Do not get fooled by how the entrance looks as the place is more to what it appears from the outside. We were surprised to see so many tables of Table Tennis and got a table reserved for $20. It could be silly to mention that none of us who got there booze, but the host who attended to us still welcomed us without a mockery and got us ginger ale and soda for the time we were there. It was a fun night and I definitely recommend this place for the organized atmosphere they create for the guests.

Not friendly management at this time.Try to play ping pong, all tables taken, try to get a drink...nope, bar was reserved. Well...put a sign on the door outside...CLOSED...

This place rules!! What s not to love? It s a bar that you can play ping pong at. Nuff said. Show up and have a good time!

Just came in for a beer after a rough shift and the bartender was super nice. Didn't catch his name, but his subtle goofiness cheered me up.

Love it. Reasonable price for an hour of ping pong fun. Loved the mule menu.

This place is a legitimate table tennis location with the addition of drinks. Love this place.

What a great spot. I had my 40th birthday here. Max thebowner was awesome and kept the pizzas and drinks flowing. There were about 40 people in the party, we had 3 tables and it worked out great.

A friend of mine came into town from Colorado and we needed a neutral site to do ping pong battle. We couldn't have been happier with this establishment and ended up going there two nights in a row. Top notch tables, great lighting for the tables, and subdued bar lighting at a long, beautiful, well-stocked bar. The owner, Brian, was very friendly, happy and helpful. I will be back with others.

A personal experience for every party that walks through the doors. I felt like I had friends everywhere at this amazing hangout. The owner goes the extra mile to support a very unique and fun business with a staff that is incredible. I get to visit Minneapolis about once or twice a year and this will always be on my list! Can t wait to come back!!!

Ever since Hop21 opened it has been my go to place for ping pong, beer and great atmosphere. The owner Max is the nicest most attantive owner you will meet and his smorebrods are out of this world. Many great memories at Hop21.

Table tennis isn't my favourite, but it's a unique bar. Hard to find if you don't know where to look.

First time visiting Hop21, had a great evening. Fun atmosphere, great staff, cold beer... All is good in the world.

Great place if you want to play table tennis. You pay by the hour and have beer. I bring my own paddle, but they have some there you can use.

Hop21 is so much fun. I love gathering friends and sharing a table. It's easy to spend hours here. They are also great for parties, and they have pizza!

7 or 8 tables, some good tap options, conveniently located near to the light rail, 20$/table/hour seems fair. Will return soon & hoping to join a tournament when they host one!

Pretty cool place, but the service is not the friendliest. Wish they let different groups play together. It s half the fun to go out and meet new people.

Had a blast with my friends here. Broke a paddle by accident and it was no big deal.

I m not much for table tennis, but this place had good beer and was a great place to have chill drinks with friends and coworkers.

I went to Hop21 as a Table Tennis Meetup, and it was great. Atmosphere is somewhat like a pool hall, but with ping pong. Fun.

In the center of downtown, but out of the way, Hop21 is a fun urban basement refuge from the city. Darts, hockey, and of course, lots of ping pong. All made more fun with beers and cocktails. A great after work hangout, work event space, or night out with friends.

Beer and ping pong, how can you go wrong? Beer selection could be bigger but they have a few rotating taps so we're good. :)

Lots of fun and the service was good. Keep on doing what they're doing and they will become more competitive up there.

I coordinated a 20 person office party here, Max was wonderful to work with and all of the bartenders and staff were fun and attentive. Everyone had a great time! Even the people who didn't think they'd actually want to play ping pong ended up having fun! Would definitely recommend hosting your party at Hop21.
