Best beer shop in South London. Great varied selection of beers from sours, stouts, lagers, ipas, pale ales and everything in between. They also have a selection of hot sauces and vinyls. Always have the latest and freshest beers in and to top of it the staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable. They're are always happy to recommend a beer to you on your preferences.

I like it... Because it has great beers. Not just great beers, but great New Zealand beers. What's not to like? Don't answer that... It also has great UK and US beers as well... And you can fit our own flagons, now that's cool.

Ordered from this shop online was an absolute fantastic service, unfortunately they was down on some stock for some beer that I ordered but at least I got a can :) they stock some outstanding beer at a reasonable price. They also offered me 10% off on the next order on the stock discrepancy, this is probably the best bottle shop in the uk I've ordered from the delivery is rapid it was here in at least 48hrs which is great stuff and had a little note saying hope you enjoy the beers. Great experience from the gang at hb&b will be deffo purchasing again. Fantastic service :)
Have checked out both shops and there is a fantastic selection of craft beers, organic wines and hot sauces on offer and always service with a smile. They even have a points system (like a clubcard) ...but much better value! Highly recommend giving them a visit for your drinks and hot sauce needs!
An excellent craft beer destination, though they also sell some other random goods (records, hot sauce, wine, etc...). There are a few other places in the area to get craft bottles (General Store and Bambuni come to mind), but HBaB far surpasses in selection and they have growlers.

Knowledgeable staff and a great selection of London, British and International beers. A hot sauce for everyone, with a few crates of well curated records; originals, re-pressings and new releases.
A couple of tables outside allow you to drink on site with a small charge per bottle. 1L and 2L takeaway bottles available for the 4 beers on tap (tap beer takeaway only). Chilli based snacks available, possible the hottest nuts ever created! Buyer beware!

The price is not cheap but still the same or cheaper than other local shops that sell their own limited range but the taste is amazing. You get what you pay for, especially with the NZ beers. Outstanding selection. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Turn up and enjoy a beer there for the price of a pint in a pub. Price is the same, taste- no contest.

UK, IMO, has the world's greatest craft beer scene and this shop is a kind of epicentre of that for range, knowledge and taste. They also pull the best global brews into the community and , through their newsletter, somehow distill the essentials from a noisy/busy marketplace for a "busy guy" like me.
Quirky, charming shop selling a million different kinds of beer (the 'hop'), a thousand different varieties of hot sauce ('burns') and about 10 records ('black'). Lovely friendly atmosphere and plenty of characters.

Popped in to pick up some beers and decided to hang about and have a few in the shop. Staff were great and helped me choose a few similar beers as to what I had that day which I really appreciated. Signed up to the loyalty scheme (Beer Miles) which is pretty sweet. Just wish I lived closer to East Dulwich now so I could refill my Flagon more often!

Simply my favourite shop around Peckham and East Dulwich. Good selection of hot sauces and a fantastic selection of all varieties of beer. What sets HB&B is their championing of local beers, in-depth knowledge of their products and competitive pricing. Anyone who enjoys beer owes it to themselves to visit.

Fabulous little store. Unbelievable selection of craft beers, some delicious hot sauces, and a couple of boxes of vinyl to browse through. Friendly and knowledgeable staff on hand to guide your buying choices. Since moving out of London almost a year ago, this unique shop is the first thing that has made me consider moving back!

A super fine example of a local independent craft beer shop. The selection of beers is excellent, reasonably priced and changes regularly.
A real nice touch to have a few tables and chairs, in the shop and outside, on which to enjoy your favourite tipple. The staff here a fantastic, they are always genuinely happy to help and make everyone feel welcome.

A hidden gem of the area. Knowledgeable & helpful staff, cool atmosphere. They r offering drinks at reasonable prices than other places of London. Love outdoor seating. Wide range of craft cans, bottles, wines and special hot sauces from all over London city. Had some quality time with quality drinks. Hope visit again soon.

Lovely laid back shop, with an excellent range of tasty beer, hot sauces, and some crazy chili based snacks. Great that you can try some beers on tap before taking away a flagon of your favourite. Visited for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, had a good chat and could tell he was passionate about craft beer. Having frequented quite a few of these shops, it was good to see they had beer that I had not yet come across.
Whilst I didn't buy any of the hot sauces, they had a good selection and more peculiar ones than you'd get in your standard supermarket.
I would recommend to anyone in the local area.

A) your prices are more expensive than other shops went to Brixton if you check other reviews lot cheaper
C) I asked if you filled the small flagons to see if you said you could fill to that then pour to a glass. Which was not suggested by you.

I haven't been to any of the events but only pop in from time to time with a mate and it's often peaceful. An excellent variety of beers. Plus, they do take-away growlers. Bonus.
