My experience with the RoK Consular Office in Irvine has been excellent, it exceeded my expectations.
Due to my profession I am always on the move around the world, so I always need consular services and support. As everybody knows, in most cases, getting visas, document certifications or quick specific answers to immigration matters are essential and some times an issue. Last year, I was here in Irvine feeling a bit lost in terms of the procedures and requirements to formalize visas and personal documents related to family issues in Kazakhstan. So, we contacted the Honorary Consul (Mr. Johannes Schroetter) at the Irvine office for an appointment, and as usually happens around the world, we were expecting long queues and a long waiting time. But to our surprise, as soon as we called, Mr. Schroetter personally took the call and immediately booked us for a meeting next day, no queues and no heavy protocols. The next day, the service, attention and orientations were first class. Mr. Schroetter patiently took us through the process, helped us to fill up and complete forms, and even making copies and sorting papers for us. That first day, Mr. Schroetter's support went beyond his way by giving us a full orientation about the city, safety precautions and best options for us , as a family, to have a pleasant and comfortably experience in the US.
So, in record time we got our visas and documents done, he kindly expedited the process.
Soon, after coming to the Consulate over and over looking for guidance, we realized that such excellence providing consular services was not circumstantial or a one occasion event, we have consistently noticed that delivering excellence, quality and timely results is a common practice in Mr. Schroetter.
