We had a terrible experience. We arrived to a room with one king bed instead of two queen, there were feces hanging from the wall in the bathroom and pubic hair in the shower. At 9 pm I had to mop the
Floor of the bathroom and shower because I had 11 year old girls that were horrified. I called down to the front desk to ask for more towels two days in a row and never received additional towels. The housekeeping staff told me at 10:00 the next morning that it was their short day and if I didn't get out of the room to let them clean, they probably wouldn't be back. When I shared my story from the previous night and that I would be
Reporting the Poor condition of the room she contacted her supervisor. Love, the supervisor came by and apologized and assured me that the reason she had missed the poop during her inspection was because it was blocked by the bathroom door. No reason was given for the pubic hair. In addition, breakfast was not served on time nor was it pleasing. Our group used 9 suites. We expected better and paid for better.

Let's see, where should I start. Got here yesterday about 5:00 pm, had two rooms. One of the rooms when we walked into the room had no sheets on the bed and the toilet was dirty. Called the front desk and they gave us another room because they said the housekeeping staff had gone home for the day. The other room (230) was at the far end of the complex from the lobby and the elevator on that end was out. I wonder for how long that has been the case? We have stayed here several times in the past with none of them being a very good experience. Five years ago we stayed here during the golf tournament and $5,000 worth of items were stolen out of my sons truck while we were at the golf tournament during broad daylight! Oh, they now have security from 8pm to 4am every day. I guess the thieves and thugs around here go to bed by 4am! I WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN AND I SUGGEST YOU DON'T EITHER!

This used to be my favorite hotel!
I recently had to make a trip to memphis for a family emergency. I was in town from 8-21 thru 8-27.. There was no Homewood Suites available until my last night here. We were a family of 7 so, we requested the 2 bdrm suite. Upon our arrival customer service was pleasant, she advised us that we had to park in the back and the luggage cart would be by the elevator, well we had to walk the whole hotel to find one; way down by the elevator where the pool is, (talk about getting your steps in) then we get all of our luggage prepared on the cart and loaded in the elevator only to find out that the elevator was having a breakdown issue. We waited like 4-5 min and it would not move. I didn't want to seem like I was ge to complain.. so I didn't. We had to push our luggage cart all the way down to the other elevator.. we were on the 4th floor..432.. down by the other elavator that wad having issues... ugghh.. it was a hot day so we decided to go the pool.. the pool was dirty.. we did our best cleaning it. The cloudy water made it appear that it hadn't been cleaned all day. Awe..We took into consideration the pool was outside. And got in after trying to clean it.
The room was nice and spacious. Clean in appearance. My grandson was going to be the one on the pullout couch. He pulled out the couch.. there was old popcorn on the bed. The pillow for his bed had stains all over it. We'r called down to the front desk. Housekeeping brought up new Linen and a pillow, but didn't seem pleasant about having to do so. We'r had to call twice about the pillow. We thought about cooking to save money on eating out. We made tacos, rice, and vegetables. I have never seen the most worn out mismatched pot set ever.. eww. Now i'm forced to use them. For a room that could house up to 8 people, we only had 4 plates, no bowls; no spoons, a rusted chef knife, one butter knife, no paper towels, no pot holders (as i'm used to from my previous stays at homewoods.). The dish soap was watered down. There was no big serving spoon available, the spatula was the only serving utensil available; and it was dirty from the dishwasher.. and then it kept separating from the handle; not easy to make tacos.
Ok, the beds were very springy.. the mattress in the single king bdrm the sham was dirty like something spilled on it and was never changed and the bed was not comfortable, the pillows need replacing, very loose and worn down. In the 2 king the bed closest to the window had a metal rod sticking out the mattress, where my daughter leg got punctured and bled. Maintenance tried resolving by pulling the mattress to cover it up.
I believe this hotel put itself in a premium class especially by its pricing, i only gave it 5 stars cause I want people to read my review. It only deserve 3 stars. But even their breakfast wasn't all that great. Betty was a great and sweet host (keep her around) .. but I'm used to whip cream and strawberries for the waffles, there was none. No chocolate milk. And, I don't know why there is never any cheese available for the eggs! Ididn't see any boiled eggs. Your juice has never been good. So I don't bother to try it anymore. I drink your coffee or tea.
Thank you for having washing machines and dryers available. We like to have fresh laundry leaving.
I can't say that I won't stay here again, but I just pray that things improve, because we pay a lot of money to stay at your hotel chain and things shouldn't get worse they should improve. It used to feel like a home away from home!!
I felt like I deserve a refund. Maybe someone will contact me about my daughter injury and about our stay!

Found bedbugs in our room. They assigned us a new room on a different floor and it too was infested with bedbugs. Remember, a hotel can be clean on the surface but it's the things you can't see...Always check under the sheets and on the bed skirt near the headboard. Two stars because the manager helped book us a room at another local Homewood Suites on Poplar that was bedbug free.

The suite was real nice and my kids really enjoyed...

The suite was real nice and my kids really enjoyed the hotel. The housekeeping was on point for whatever we ask for. I really appreciate the great service. I will be back and requirement this hotel when they travel.

Very nice facility. Stayed in a room with a stocke...

Very nice facility. Stayed in a room with a stocked kitchen even. Love the bathroom mirrors with the light all around them. Friendly staff.
Breakfast was average, but not kept warm so had to microwave on a Styrofoam plate, which causes cancer.
Fan blades needed dusting and shower took both hands to turn on it was so stuck.
I would stay here again.

I wasn't happy with service. But the hotel was clean and the staff was polite. They have a basketball court and a large outdoor pool. But we never got towels and I did not like the factor they did not make up our bed. We requested our trash to get picked up and they said they would be up and they never came. Also the hotel rooms and the lobby are in different buildings so we had to walk outside in the rain to get to breakfast. This wasn't good.

It wasnt super dirty, but it def wasn t clean either especially with enhanced cleaning procedures I assume that should be taking place. Also... we noticed our window had an issue...so between the window and other things we asked for a refund and looked elsewhere.

Nothing spectacular. Accommodating staff. The bed was not the most comfortable. Too soft for my tastes but I'm a larger guy. Carpet was worn and torn. No icetrays or ice maker. Really weak coffee in the lobby on the last morning of my stay. Bottom line is that it was average.

We just spent 4 days there for my first trip out of Missouri, and I honestly couldn't complain. The staff for the most part was awesome and the free breakfast in the social lounge was pretty neat. Some guests were kinda rude but I hold no responsibility to the hotel itself. If we had the room for our 3 pets as we traveled, I would've brought them too as this particular hotel is pet friendly. I'd go on, but it's really a good place to retreat to after venturing good ole Memphis!

Pool is closed. Basketball court has no basket. Breakfast is only served mon Thur Friday. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The staff is very nice. They have 2 computers you can get on and was able to print from . The room was nice except for the ceiling fans were very dusty thick... And I seen baby roaches in kitchen and bathroom at night. Alot of trash around could have been cleaner. Lobby was very clean I'm somewhat d I disappointed. Would I stay here again. IDK. Maybe. Price was good so far. Haven't checked out yet

.We have never seen so badly maintain Hilton property around the world .He has all his details as a handicap person .They put us on second floor were nearest elevator was not working Even there was no luggage trolley .There was no shower curtain ,vessels was not fully dried and kept back , as we checked in after 6 pm .

Hotel was in a nice location and the rooms are clean and beautiful. The pool was nice and breakfast was good. The only issues we had were some weird noise that was constant at night (think we were near either maintenance or other room) and it took a while for them to bring our pack and play.

Blood on the sheets took an hour to be replaced. We asked for some soap and 2 extra towels and after 4 hours i had to call the front desk again to request them.. then they told me they already got them! And the dirty dishes in the cabinet with a sign saying cleaned for.you to enjoy.. smh

Pros: near restaurants and stores.
Room setup.
Door that separates bedroom from living room.
Comfy bed
Kitchen appliances.

Cons: pubic hair on toilet seat.
Dirty vents.
Phone missing buttons.
Broken curtains.
Kitchen was dirty.
Old chips and food was behind sofa.
Request towels over 3 times, did not receive until over 24 hours.
Hallways and elevator smelled like smoke during our entire 3 day stay.
You will injure yourself trying to open back door.
No rolling carts for luggage.

Homewood Suites in Memphis, Tennessee is designed beautifully. I mean "BEAUTIFULLY"!!!!! As far as my stay, my room was not what I expected. The towels were somewhat dingy. The kitchen was not up to par. Dirty dish towels, countertop was worned . My coffee dispenser was not cleaned well at all. The only thing I enjoyed was my king size bed which was clean and comfortable. OMG!, THE CONTINENTAL COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST WAS THE WORST BREAKFAST I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE... So if you visit Memphis. Tennessee DO NOT GO TO HOMEWOOD SUITES...

Where do I start, well my room was nicely cleaned my entire stay, and the housekeeping staff was friendly. I stayed on the 4th floor, and a young lady serviced my room the two nights I stayed very well. I often seen two young ladies walking the halls, when I stopped and asked they said they were supervisors, and I thought that was awesome because most hotel staff walk right by and ignore you. Overall my stay was amazing. Will returning back soon.

Upon arriving at 9:30pm I saw most of the staff sitting out front smoking.... The front desk associates were a little rude but I looked passed it... Upon observing the hotel and staff..... The feel of the hotel ...it made you forget that you are staying in a homewood suites which is not good. Usually staying at a homewood suites you feel invited.. the staff puts you at ease and it feels homey.... Not this one.... And They only served breakfast which is wired being a homewood suites. Upon parking the car and getting our bags out the car I notice security was in a cart glaring at me and my family as if we had just robbed a bank.... Again the staff service is very bad especially if you are an ethnic person.... And this goes for all cultures that's working there ....the staff really is bad. He didn't say hello... Or hi or nothing just glared. As we entered the building we noticed the elevator was out of order... In which no one on staff alerted us too.....again very bad customer service! So customers that stay by the back entrance had to walk to the front to use that elevator. Very irritating. The rooms were astonishing....... They had a mix of a old disco style and a modern style with pictures of beale street all over the place which was done so very nicely. Everything in the room was in place..... It was clean.... And comfortable as all homewood suites rooms are. The stay (in my room) was very comfortable and had great views of the shopping area (great location).... But Again the staff was awful.. This has the potential to be a great hotel but the stay really is not homewood suite material. I travel a lot and when asked what hotel I want to stay I tell my company to book me a homewood suites room from Mississippi to New York I always make sure I book with homewood suites if there is no homewood suites around my second choice is home2 another great hilton creation. But yet when I have to go to Memphis I will make sure I don't come to this one again. The rooms a+ the staff f-

Someone needs to tell the front desk clerk that she needs to leave her bad attitude at home. She was very rude, kept rolling her eyes, and did as little as possible to assist me. My key card only worked once after each reset from the clerk. Darn, that means I d have to go and speak with her again!!! There was no housekeeping and you better not ask the clerk was going to GO OFF! Until this hotel deals with their customer service, I don t recommend staying here.

I checked out after finding a mattress pad cover soiled with menstrual blood on my bed; the mattress did not have a stain. I had been at the hotel for approximately 20 days. I asked front desk on Monday night to make sure my linens were changed and this is what I noticed on Tuesday night when I was about to get in bed, same linens & the soiled mattress pad cover There are only 2 explanations, 1) the soiled mattress pad was left on the bed when the previous person checked out 20 days before and I had been lying on it the whole time or 2) someone purposeful put the soiled mattress pad on my bed. On the days where I left the room before 9am, the bed was always made up nicely and it was made up very nice when I returned on Tuesday. This has traumatized me to think that people would do this. The breakfast staff, front desk, & Shuttle driver were wonderful, but I will never recommend this HomeWood Suites. I told the front desk clerk & she got the manager and the manager said they would make sure their housekeeping staff knew to use clean items. And yes, I showed her the pictures. Definitely, not Hilton standards. 2 stars because of the breakfast staff who deserve 5 stars. I slept on the sofa Tuesday night & just want to cry every time I think of this.

I travel for work a lot.
I was really excited to stay here for 3 nights hearing about good things. I need an ok internet connection to check emails and get some work done with my work computer. The wifi here barely works. It was on and off. I followed the instructions and called the hotline as they advised in the booklet to make sure it's not because of my device. I ended up buying premium access for 2 days and it's still very slow and basically not working. As I'm writing this review, I have to use my phone data. The internet speed test is showing the download speed with the premium access is 313 kbps. I called front desk to see if there's anything they can do. The rep sounded frustrated when I asked her if this is the usual premium access internet speed. She kept saying "yes, ma'am" just to brush me off. She then transferred me to the central. They can't help me either. I wasted my money with the premium internet. So overall I'm not having a good experience with my stay and the amount of money spent.

P.S. I went to buy a LAN line to see if it'd work better with the wall connection. Turns out it's just for decoration. They don't really offer Ethernet connection, at least not in this hotel room.

I have stayed at this hotel 20+ times over 8 years...

I have stayed at this hotel 20+ times over 8 years and have never been disappointed. They may not have had the most up to date in room TV's or workout equipment each stay (they do now) but they have one thing that only one other hotel I frequent has - they welcome me as a friend. I stay in hotels for business 100+ nights a year, and this is one of two where I truly feel welcome

Due to weather we were impacted! No heat on one side of our suite and then no water. However, Brandon and the staff have been accommodating. We have been here almost a month. I have concerns on the handicap accessible room with toilets so low that it's a stressful ordeal to encounter! It should be addressed asap! I suggest you get taller model toilets for handicap rooms. Along with seated showers. But, it's an amazing staff going beyond to make our stay a pleasant one!

Too many characters in my response for this small submission, but most of my main concerns were : room was located right at the elevator and entrance doors which meant no sleep, old water found in room's Keurig machine, lobby coffee creamer needs to be changed out immediately because it was "syrupy", smelled marijuana down the hallway within an hour after check in, mold found on a bathroom handle "O" ring, towels irritated my skins (scratched and swollen), keys didn't work half the time, water from shower jet stream too aggressive (could not change). Overall decor was beautiful in the lobby and the room, away from the main roadway, lots of parking, room was spacious, hotel is within walking distance or a short drive to gas stations, banks, shopping, restaurants, price was reasonable, but add an additional 20 percent to the total to be held until released. I would recommend to anyone, but also caution one to research your own reviews beforehand.

Hilton should be ashamed of this!! I 100% give them no stars. I was on a family trip to Memphis from St Louis. We booked 4 rooms. Got there kind of late night so we were eager to get checked in and relax. The person at the front desk was beyond rude and impatient. Each and every room was dirty, no toilet paper, found 2 dead roaches in the bed with dirty sheets, that was made up perfectly mind you. The floors in the rooms hadn't been vaccumed in a long time. There was hair all over the toilet. Called the front to request someone to clean or to get another room but was told we couldn't get another room and they would do nothing but bring sheets for my bed and i could make it myself. We all were furious!!!! That far from home!!! They brought the sheets finally. i started to make the bed and noticed it was a sheet for a much smaller bed!!! i called front desk and was told there was nothing more they could do that was all they had. smoke was coming out of my ears at this point. we ended up just sitting up all night and changing hotels the next morning early.

Good: Staff was nice, tried to help.
Bad: The entire hotel, from floors to ceiling does not appear to be cleaned regularly and basic maintenance updated on property.
Hotel seems very very undermanned and under resourced. The carpet in the rooms, hallways & elevators needs the be replaced, fruit flys were prevalent in the rooms and other areas of the hotel. Fire alarm taken out of room, short towels, brown water came out of sink first night....bathroom floors was sticky and not clean. As a rewards member, was shocked at the state of this Hampton Inn. They need help and resources desperately from Hilton Corporate.

As a long time diamond member, I travel often and always stay at Hilton properties. Unfortunately this was one of very few times that I was disappointed in one of their properties. The property itself and the size of the rooms are very nice. Unfortunately, this is the only positive thing I can say. When we arrived we were told that they were oversold and there were several other people waiting in the lobby for the rooms to be ready even though it was well after check-in time. The front desk seemed understaffed and unprepared to be at full capacity. After waiting for about 45 minutes, our room was finally ready. We were told that it just needed towels but they would give us keys and we could head up there. Once we arrived in our room, we were met by housekeeping and they told us they would leave our towels outside the door shortly. They never showed up. Later that night we went to take a shower, we noticed that the shower curtain was missing. The next morning I report of the missing shower curtain to the front desk and they told me somebody would bring one up at some point. Later that day when we returned we were shocked to find a shower curtain hanging on our front door and they never stepped foot into the room to clean it or replace the towels. The curtain they brought was very dirty and ripped in several places as you can see from the picture. All in all a very disappointing and unpleasurable stay. Highly considering switching over to Marriott as Hilton seems to be skimping lately.

well I was disappointed in the up keep of this Hil...

well I was disappointed in the up keep of this Hilton property. Couple of things had no coffeee creamer in my room contacted front desk. It never arrived. Smoke alarm in bedroom is missing, pillow case was stained, room had a terrible odor of whomever was there cooking before me. shower curtain rod bent and curtain will not stay closed. Shower control lever is wore out and drops down and takes water temp from warm to scalding.
all in all this room I was in is tired and needs refreshed.

bed was good, ac was cold, employees were nice.
