they told me and my doctor that they could offer the support of IV therapy. Once I got the IV Pic placed they made all sorts of excuses as to why they couldn't help with it. They were given orders ny my medical doctor to teach me how to flush the IV catheter and do once a week sterile dressing changes. They never did this and dropped me from their care leaving me to youtube how to care for my IV catheter. I am home bound and cannot drive. I do not leave my home unless it's an emergency. They said that the reason for discharge was because I am not home bound. They sent two LNAs over who could not help me as they did not have my care plan and, another was forced to spend the whole time on her phone talking to a nurse about her other clients of the day. Over the weeken I was left to guess how to do an IV flush and I said it was an emergency as I needed them to verify I did it correctly. She said it was not an emergency and go to the ER if I felt it was. I was told to not call the agency again and, I must admit was in a panic as it was clear I was left to guess work on how to care for an IV.
If I could rate them a negative i would. Absolutely by far the worst agency I have ever ever dealt with. They schedule appointments with you then do not show or call and are always going to be late. There is basically no coverage on weekends. They promise providers from soup to nuts in what they can do but what they deliver by far is the worst nursing and PT experience I have ever seen it my life. Do yourself a favor find another agency with competent caring compassionate staff who want to help someone.
Our family was in such grief, everyone involved from this company was amazing. They were warm, supportive and always followed up. We knew we were in good hands. It is never easy losing someone you love, but they helped us down a very difficult path and definitely allowed us to focus on our family and loved one. Kara kept constant contact and sent us a note after our loved one passed.
