It's very nice. Staff are friendly and rooms are good, beds very comfortable and no loud noises around. Some rooms are chilly but reported. Social distancing is good and staff give gentle reminders if needed. Food is good and variety for all palates. Activities are restricted at present but most remain available.

Unfortunately car parking is letdown by not knowing who parked where. as registration of vehicles are not recorded at the reception therefore if somebody parks in your designated place you have no idea who belongs to what vehicle
It would be better if the reception took registrations on checking in would make security on the site more accurate

5 stars and beyond! Brilliant hotel, food, service and entertainment. This hotel is set in beautiful grounds and parkland. Our weekend could not have been better.
Lovely hotel set in very well kept gardens. All Covid-19 precautions adhered to, felt very comfortable here. The staff are a credit to the company.
Great place and absolutely fantastic staff doing very well in the current circumstances, still get some guests moaning about something, I would have given them a slap, which is why I couldn't do what the staff here do. We will definitely return when hopefully things get back to something more normal. Can't fault the food or the service and the show's were great even with the restrictions. The staff really go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The grounds and gardens are fantastic, great for walks after eating, the gardener's really look after them. Highly recommended.
Excellent Food, New Chef doing brilliant job. Beautiful gardens & grounds. Lovely historic house. Refurbished bedrooms have been very tastefully done but some rooms still need to be brought up to the same standard. Very pleasant staff. Shop on site needs more exciting stock.

Lovely surroundings very picturesque very friendly and helpful staff
We had a wonderful break away at Holme Lacy. Parking: Helpful attendant directed us to close by area and luggage taken to room. Signature room excellent with good supply of linen and toiletries. Grounds: plenty of areas for walking with wildlife and flora pleasing to the eye, plus outdoor activities. Swimming facilities good and evening entertainment very enjoyable all made for a very relaxing time
