Hollywood Casino Joliet Review

Atmosphere is really neat but unless you have over $1,000 you better off going somewhere else because you're not going to get it back unless you play table games!!

Just visiting some family at the rv park. Well manicured some nice trees and wildlife. There if a nice preserve near by. They do not have a dump station.

Not sure if people realize that the Casino is not attached to the hotel. We stopped into the casino last night before checking in....played slots for a bit then decided to get dinner at one of the numerous restaurants listed on their site
There were only 2 of them open...the Take Two Deli and the 99 Hops House. Since we wanted a hot meal we had to stand in line for a seat at the 99....there was at least 1/3 of the seating roped off for VIP sitting empty while patrons were on a waiting list. They say the other restaurants were closed for weather but the rest of Joliet was open for business ... we went into town for dinner. We will not come back.

When will l receive coupons? Four Winds send me free money $15 a week... you guys not even$5...

There was very little energy in this casino. Felt like I went to the retirement home to play bingo

Ok tables, great dealers. Not enough variations of tables open. An who wants to always play a 50$ min game they need to drop min. Bets an open more tables!

Great place to get away and gamble. Out of city, which is good.

Hotel was nice. Staff was wonderful
As for the casino, they could loosen the slot machines. Nobody was winning big.
Staff at casino was very nice. Saw the wait staff a lot. Ate at the Stadium, something I would recommend if you stay.

It's a fantastic place, would be even better if I won, but then they wouldn't be in business for too long.

I m reviewing only the .I don't even want to give any star to this place.people are just racist.! Especially, Roulette dealer.They just clean your pockets out??!!We all know that table are controlled. But at least in Harrahs Casino makes you win!!? So, you still come back and enjoy returning. The dealer are friendlier.

I booked a room and at 1pm on the day of the reservation was told I could not check in unless I paid a $16 fee, because check in time is at 4pm. I ve worked at multiple hotels and check-in at all of them was 3pm and none of them had a fee for checking in a couple hours early.

I cancelled the res because I m a truck driver and I would rather save my money sleeping in my cab than patronize a nickel and dime job like this.

The two stars are for the food and bev staff in the casino who are always good.

Very nice casino 2 lvl of slots 2nd lvl has tables people win here clean place good food very nice and respectful people we had a great time. There is not gaming for smokers but they do have places for you to smoke I smoke I thought it was strange that they did not have slots in there smoking rooms but it was ok you never had to walk to far to go smoke. We will be back next time we are by here. They do have some truck parking and a RV park as well.

This place needs to have better giveaways. Doesnt come close to other Hollywood locations

The need a bathroom in the restaurant is my only complaint.

It's not the same since they took the all you eat crab legs off the menu, the price is to high for what they offer. Not worth it to me.

Didn't get a chance to stay ,had an emergency at home but will be back...nice environment

This what happened to my piggy bank. He got an "X" in both eyes!!! And they got my lunch money!!!

Smaller casino, not a huge select of table games and refused to open up more even though the ones opened were full.

Great place! Lots of pennies slots! Our go to casino!

Came out to watch a band, see friends and gamble. Food was terrible. Beef nachos should not be soupy. Literally liquid filling the bottom and ruining the chips. Had to find the server after waiting almost 15 minutes to pay. Service in 99 Hops could be better. And you need 2 bartenders, not 1 for that big of a space! Gambling is mostly fun and is exactly as expected.

3 star, I only used it to park truck. Never been inside.

Doing Chicago downtown? This is your RV park. It's the closest one. Caution - It's not full hook up! Electric and water at your site only. There is a dump station at the exit of the park. Breakfast is included during your stay. Staff are nice.

They stopped having all you could eat crab leg buffets on Fridays. Instead it was southern soul food buffet. And we didn't want to pay $35 a person for things like fried chicken, mashed potatos, soup... etc It just didn't seem worth it. That was a major bummer to me and my family as crab is our favorite seafood. Though, the staff was really friendly and let us look at the available food so we could make up our minds. Then they suggested a good alternative place to eat. The food isn't what it used to be, but the employees are happy to help.

Has alot of older games. Two floors. Table games. Hotel not connected to casino.. bit of a walk away believe they have shuttle. Parking garage.

This casino is very inviting. On weekends there is always a good band and the Hop House is tasty and affordable. There are a variety of games and the staff is very friendly!

Depressing employees looking not happy, not a jumping place didn't feel exciting and welcoming

Went with a senior group. They treated us very well the food wood very good. Had a great time.

We had an unexpected stay in the area. Decided to make it a mini vacation. We stayed three nights and two days. The hotel was clean and up to date. The staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfasts at the hotel. We had a great time at the casino. Really enjoyed the bar there. Loved the shuttle service between the hotel and casino. Very good time. Would go back again!

Had a little lunch with the gang, Calming and relaxing environment. 9 stars

Great atmosphere in Casino, delicious food in restaurant. Cozy beds and delightful night clerk in hotel.

Is this place still in business? No one answers the phone, tried for over a half hour only get a recording.

To long of a walk from the parking garage and it doesn't have a wide variety of slots in my opinion.

Games were all off brands, beer was warm, slots were tight, no bonus we quickly dumped 200$ we wont return

Buffet is great. 5 stars. I had a terrible time on the slots. I don't mind losing, but I want to be entertained. Played penny slots, everyone around me getting all the bonus games. $60 in one sitting on the same machine, no bonus game whatsoever, ate that money in less than 10 minutes.

Clean stayed in the hotel. Nice friendly good casino.

Had dinner at the Final Cut steak house. Great food and our waitress was spectacular. Food was a little expensive, but Hollywood paid for it.

Food was awful, waitress didn't want to be there and I blew lots of money fast...great night. I'll be going to Harrah's next time.

Even though I love The Horseshoe for poker, this place is another favorite of mine and makes me nostalgic.
