Hollywood Casino Columbus Review

Fun to visit every once in a while. Park in the garage for easy access. They have several smoking areas and free coffee and pop if you are playing. Clean restrooms. Check events for bands. Have Valet parking also.

Hollywood Casino is a fairly clean and well-kept place. I'm not a big fan of some of the games, but it's certainly an inexpensive place to visit. Of course, inexpensive considering it's a casino. I've gone in and spent as much as $20 and left with $20 after 2 hours of being there. Not bad for me to go in and be entertaining for 2 hours for no money. The table minimums are a bit steep for my liking. Most of the table minimums start at about $10 to $25. I kind of miss the SIC Bo game they used to have. That was a lot of fun I want a lot of money when they have that open. But I think due to lack of patronage they shut that table down.

I don't understand why they wouldn't let me bring in my emotional support dog and it was cold so I had to put her in her pen in the car she was freezing so we couldn't stay as long as we had hoped

Wife wanted to come here for her birthday. She is winning. I am watching the Browns game. Something for everyone. Fun times.

Had an amazing experience at the Hollywood casino. 1st.great culinary eating at the Epic buffet . Harold and Ein did an absolutely perfect job of cutting my prime rib and crab legs with a smile..and Sydney did a great job at waiting on our table. The music entertainment was also captivating WITH THE BLUES RUNNING THROUGH MY SOUL!

I undersatnd showing your ID before you go in, to take most of what you have on is ridiculous, while your ID is in their hands. This is not jail!!! People are supposed to come here to have a great time. Whats next pat downs, & cavity searches. I snatched My ID back, put my hat, & everything back in its place & walked out. Its not the entire casino. Its the ones @ the front who checks IDs before you try to have a great time.

It's a newer casino. It area around be scary but the campus is so large it seems pretty safe.
Can't go wrong for a night out if it's your thing.

Actually is nonsmoking and I loved it. They have areas closed off for smokers.

Me and my wife love this place great music wonderful staff amazing food been going since it first opened,as far as winning ive won and lost but you dont go to any casino expecting to win,overall 100 times better then el darado casino,me and my wife will be visiting for yrs ro come.

Slots are very tight. Beer prices are more than most restaurants, payout percentages just does not feel adequate.

Awesome spot to enjoy a night out of the house curing covid-19, They have a good mask policy and maintain the ability to give enjoyment and big payouts to people who come!

It's a nice enough place, but nothing special. Drinks are okay and the food I've had from the buffet and Zen noodle has been pretty good. The slots are tight and don't hit that well, the table games are fun but usually crowded.

Good corona protocols. Plenty of machines. Friendly staff

The food was good a lot of variety to choose from when you go here you have to pace yourself Sunday brunch is awesome because it's got everything on the menu you can think of the best corn on the cob French toast pancakes spare ribs you name it is there you have to make sure you get your discount card when you get there it'll save you $2 in the buffet it's free

Husband and I had a great time at the casino. Were not winners but had most enjoyable time and very delicious lunch buffet. Always enjoy coming here.

Went to Hollywood with a friend and had a great time. Very relaxing atmosphere and quite entertaining. All employees were professionals and customers were friendly too.The Asian restaurant was delicious and tastee. The Chicken Lo Mein was great as well as the General Tsos. All around good visit and day..... Visited the Casino on 11/4 /2018 and had a wonderful time... Had steak dinners at restaurant and played slots and won.... Listened to a wonderful band in lounge and absolutely loved it. The best time in had at Casino. GO Hollywood.

Love this place although the odds are not very good for blackjack. I tried calculating the house advantage but after a few questions the pit boss came over and was rude. I guess they're trying to keep it a secret. Still don't know the exact advantage but I'm guessing it's around (45% you) (55% house). 10% is a big advantage and the law of large numbers means they're probably making a killing.

Visited the casino this weekend twice. My first time here. Came in for wedding and 2nd time came on wedding party bus. Loved it. Won a few dollars. Would recommend it. Nice open space. People not all on top of each other.

Great place for you to go to for fun and good food.

Don't forget all you can eat crab legs..on Friday nights

Exquisite buffet....good price...excellent service...and music from 1970 to 1980 with great sound...game...? I have no money to play......

There was an awesome live band the night I went. They do that often.

My favorite Casino, every visit has been fun and has always paid out, so far.

Good place to go donate your money, but really it is a clean well maintained casino that does give a lot of promotional give aways and friendly staff to explain how the games work. They also have random bands playing the center area also

Its ok .... the service is horrible and deff nothing like Vegas experience ... I have never seen such un organized atmosphere and shady people .. the entertainment is ok could be better ...

Great casino with excellent dealers. Very poor payout on the slots, tables are definitely the life of this casino.

Love this place, but really it s a love hate relationship.

You win some, you lose some. Good place to pass time, free drinks, sometimes live bands and such, staff always helpful and cheerful. I do recommend this place.

There's always something to do here and surprisingly, it's a good place for a date if your partner drinks, likes sports or likes to take calculated risks.

It was boring for me I didnt enjoy myself but that's just me I dont gamble

All these one star reviews are just sore losers.. it's a casino people! You should know what youre getting before you walk in the door. I think it's great for Columbus. Now all we need is that POS Westland mall to be renovated!!
