Holiday Inn Rutland/Killington Reviews

Stayed here last year for a ski trip and It was average which is what you expect from a Holiday Inn, but this year was a little different. Half the hotel smelled like stale cigarettes and we weren t even near the smoking rooms, our room had a strange smell couldn t pin down exactly what it was, also found two pairs of used underwear next to the TV stand along with old tissues and the room overall was kind of gross. We also didn t get room service when we were out skiing, The bar and restaurant was also closed which was why I booked a hotel otherwise I would ve got a cheap motel. And they were state troopers walking through the place the whole night probably looking for someone that was cooking meth in one of the rooms. The beds were very comfy though that s about the only good thing.

This is hard for me to say, although the hotel and staff were really nice and accommodating, I had a big issue with the hotel. I woke up in the morning and there were bed bugs all over my bed! I tried to reach out to the front desk and to holiday inn costumer service. I got no response from them. They keep telling me they will call me back. I do not recommend this hotel at all. Stay away at all costs.

This was my families home for about a week while staying in VT. We enjoyed it. The staff got to know us after a few days and we began having fun with them. The wait staff in the restaurant were fun. The one was originally from close to our hometown which was fun. We had a horrible storm which knocked out the hotels power. The were right on it and were great. The pool was clean and inviting. The rooms were nice. The staff fun and the food great. Thank you guys!

Easily one of the worst Holiday Inn that I have stayed in. Came here for a skiing trip with the family, leaving early. Let s start:
- something definitely happened in the hallway. Either someone threw up a year ago, but definitely have not cleaned up and smells awful.
- phone? Who needs one. Check out the photo.
- table in the room? Why bother fixing it.
- bathroom? Don t bother cleaning the back of the toilet seat.
- hot shower? Yeah, only in the mornings.
- Heater? Does not really work, they had to bring a space heater.

Get me out!

This place is falling apart. Our sink was clogged, the window leaked, carpeting was peeling, there is no thermostat to regulate the temperature so the A/C unit is constantly running. We were in a non-smoking room but somehow every single thing managed to smell like smoke. Even the water in the shower and sink. You can smell others smoking and hear absolutely everything through the vents in the bathroom. Lots of foot traffic all hours of the night above our room and in the hallway. Overall it felt unkempt and unsafe.

Really nice clean hotel . Great friendly stAff. Great food and service. Always do whatever they can to answer your questions. Or to suit your needs of toiletries and etc.

I received a gift certificate to the Holiday Inn Rutland, Vt., a few years ago. I have been saving it for the right time, the time ended up being me loseing a much loved family member. I needed to get away to mourn in peace, what started as a day crying fest turned into a three day healing stay. Thank you Betty and all Employees for your Service, Kindness, Compassion and being there quietly during my dark hour.

For the price I paid 119/night I expected more. The pictures are of the room. Would not stay again.

Got first shot here in the conference room. Was in and out very quickly. Glad Holiday Inn is able to help the community.

I m usually very tolerant and don t leave many reviews, but I m inspired now to post just how poor I feel this location is. The property is in very run down shape. You can tell the management is milking every dime out of it. I ve stayed at some very nice Holiday Inns and stayed at this one thinking they all need to meet certain standards. I ve come to learn that is not true.
As far as my room is concerned, the rug was dirty from foot traffic, and large crumbs scattered about telling me they didn t vacuum. In the corners of the room there was an abundant build up of dust. The furniture was sticky. Lights were blown out and the lamp shades were cracked and bent. The toilet would not flush on the first try. The bed being actually halfway decent is the only silver lining. Will never stay here again and will think twice about staying at another Holiday Inn.
