Clean, quiet, good location and lots to do in the area.

Great staff and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

My sister had her wedding this past weekend so we booked off several rooms and a bunch of the guests stayed. If 15 rooms are booked you a free shuttle to and from the venue (Hernder). The shuttles were great and were there on time, each time! The hotel was very clean and had a 6th floor patio which was perfect for after the wedding. It doesn't close until like 230am or something like that!

Good food and facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely use this venue for future meetings.

I went there for the wedding show. It was busy and had tons of different booths, along with a fashion show. It was a great time!

Went for a girls night away .could not have asked for a better hotel We never even left our hotel it was so full of adventure From a few games of ten pin bowling to the arcade to the roof top bar called SIX We had the best time and have already made arrangements to head back and we are only 10 minutes into our 3 hour journey home

Love this place. The renovated bowling alley is top notch and the addition of laser tag made for a fantastic stay.

I booked a wedding block with this hotel. First off, all my guests were scattered on different floors. Second, they gave me (the bride) a room that they KNEW had a leak in the ceiling near the bed. Why on earth would you give a room with a leak to someone that bought business to your hotel (my wedding guests)?! I told front desk about it and they responded by saying "oh yes the leak from 510 above you". Third, the air conditioner was not working in the room! Once again, why give a room with so many issues to someone that BOUGHT you business to your hotel?! Will not be staying at Holiday Inn again. Completely disappointed. Especially as I was staying there for my wedding, a special event!

Hotel was nice. However the HVAC was not working in the room. Would of been a 5 star if it was not for this.

Hotel was very nice and clean. See check-in, I asked to here 6 towels in our room since there was 3 people. She made a note on our account, but every night, I had to call to have them bring 2 additional towels, because housekeeping didn't read the message and never left them. That was our only issue. We would stay there again.

We stayed in a suite on the 9th floor. The layout was great and surpassed our expectations in every way.

The venue is a great location to hold professional events. Their service and organization were excellent.

Not good at all. Rooms are nice and clean but they really need to find another chef who wants to work there. The meals here are disgusting BIG waste of money to eat here. As well as the bug guy who says he's the manager really doesn't know how to talk with people. If you have guests do everything to make their stay comfortable. He hasn't hes very ignorant!

The event halls were comfortable and well lit. The food at the attached restaurant was delicious. I would attend an event there again.

Protect your credit card info! Get everything in writing, and be ready for a fight. This place has twice taken the credit card number from my room reservation and used it, without authorization, to pay the fees for an event held at their facility. They have not provided a written contract, have never given a formal invoice, but felt the freedom to access my personal room reservation file within hours of the event ending to get my personal credit card number. This behaviour has been reported to American Express.

The event itself was very poorly managed. The hotel rep didn't answer any communication attempts the day before the event, and did not show up to work on the day of the event until the afternoon. (When I asked the staff if Vicki was available in the morning they just laughed.) Audio was not setup for us, coffee service was missed, the whole process was remarkably disorganized.

Save your money, save your credit, save your event. Go elsewhere. Anywhere.

Pleasant Hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms. There are plenty of attractions within a twenty minute drive. My only complaint is the hotel's restaurant was mediocre at best and the food they served felt like it was trying too hard to be fancy.

Food was good and plentiful. Staff seemed friendly and quick to clear empty plates. My only real complaint is that the 1 ladies washroom was closed, but I didn't hear an announcement telling us. I was also frustrated because I have a newborn and there is no change table in the Washroom.

My employer has us staying for 2 weeks. It's day 6 and so far it's good. Not the best I've ever stayed in, but everything is there to have a good time. Fair service, they were patient and tolerant of our rambunctious group.

The room we were in was very clean and we'll organized for a professional event. I would go again.

Rooms were conformable. Convention hall was well suited.,and the meal was very good.
The breakfast buffet in the restaurant was only average but the wait staff was excellent. They put up with a lot of people having fun, with no problems.
Need better WiFi. Hooking up was difficult but good once you got on. Could use some USB plugs in the rooms.

Parkway lanes was awesome and the staff was great, it's a nice well rounded establishment and would highly recommend anyone to try it if they are looking for a a nice day out with friends and/or family

Great experience here. Was visiting for a Kettlebell Competition. Got a great group rate and free upgrade to a suite unexpectedly. Would definitely come back.

To begin, on multiple occasions we had issues with the front desk telling my guests our wedding block was full when it was not. This was a huge concern, and as a bride I did not appreciate having to call the hotel every time someone tried to book a room, we had enough to worry about as is.

Upon check in we were told, 2 out of or 3 Jacuzzi rooms had flooded and we had been "upgraded", obviously we did not see this as an upgrade as we had specifically requested the tub room. Why no one bothered to call us in advance to our check in to tell us about this, and rather wait until we show up and have no other option is unacceptable. I also found out that prior to the date of check in multiple check in and out dates were recorded wrong - we sent messages again to rectify the dates - again, something we should not have to be doing. Also during check in we were asked multiple times for a credit card, we mentioned to the desk that our card was already on file, and had been on file for a while, needless to say the desk couldn t find it so we had to stand there and go through his emails to show it to the staff.

The "suite" my parents were upgraded to did not have working ventilation, and the bath tub/shower was disgusting with pubic/body hairs throughout it. When I entered my room upon check in it was full of fully stocked cleaning carts - I wasn't aware my room was a closet - that I had to call down and help staff remove from my room.

It would have also been helpful to know the hotel was undergoing so many renovations, again I wouldn't have booked a hotel block with paper door room numbers, filthy carpets, no baseboards or half dry walled.

I understand there was a convention happening the same weekend, but as said before, I would not have stayed there knowing we would not be able to find parking (one day I drove in circles for 25 minutes trying to find a parking spot), or not wait 20+ minutes for an elevator.

Then two days after check out, we find out that 3 of our rooms were charged to the wrong credit card upon check out, even with the card holder it SHOULD have been charged to standing at the counter walking staff through who and what card to charge it to.

All in all we are just very frustrated and disappointed by how everything went down, honestly the best part of our stay was checking out and getting to leave.

Convenient location, close to restaurants and services. Easy access to the highway. Clean hotel when entrance. Nice event rooms in back for any event.

I travel alot and I stay at this hotel for weeks at a time. One of the most impressive over seen. This has an Arcade, Bowling Alleys with like 10 to 15 lanes, full bar and new renovated restaurant. Did I also mention they have a full bar on the 6th floor roof? Love this place.

Rooms were nice. Spacious. The prices and room selection leave a lot to be desired. Location was convenient for our needs. Elevators were scarce and extremely slow.

I attended a seminar at this hotel. The amenities were clean and adequate for our purpose ( a small regional meeting). The hotel is busy and staff is friendly. Parking is ample.
I was specially impressed by the food. The food was fresh and much better than your typical hotel food.. a fresh buffet with roasted vegetables , salads , olives and good desserts .you can tell the chef takes pride in his work. Excellent.

This is a great place to stay. Close to most tourist areas. It s clean, has super service and has never disappointed us.

My brokerage held our annual Canada Day party there on the rooftop patio. It was my first time being there and the experience was great. Staff were excellent, the food was good, and the patio is a great space for a social event. Overall it was a great evening!

The hotel was great! My wife and family enjoyed the stay and while we didn't use all the amenities, we did enjoy the pool. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is very well made. Front desk was helpful and seamless. Absolutely nothing to really complain about other than the elevator simply not being as up to date as it should be. One night we stepped in and the stench was woeful. But it was only one night, and I'm sure it was taken care of quickly. All in all, a 4.5/5 experience.

Great time at a banquet. Prime rib cut and served to suit your tastes. Great buffet service of salads vegetables and pasta. The pay bat was reasonably priced. The sky bar was fantastic. Friendly efficient staff.

Banquet center food was pretty bad for a large group, not sure if it was the center catering or an outside vendor but the service was good and the atmosphere nice. Lots of parking.

Great location for our event. Staff was helpful, everything was easy to find, all event rooms were close together.
